I recently tried to renew my Nigerian passport. Having paid the fee, I realized on getting to the booking page that no dates were available for over four months so I decided to cancel.

Unfortunately your system doesn't allow for that, which is questionable.

If your system, like many others, had been set up to pay after selecting a date, there would have been no problems.

I couldn't cancel the transaction but could only ask for a refund, which I did immediately. However, after a three week wait, I got an email saying that I would not be getting my money back. WHY?

What did I do wrong? You had no suitable dates for me yet you would give my money back. How's that?

To any reasonable person, that is a fraud. Your inflexible setup does not allow for cancellation, yet you would not refund for a service you did not provide. That is stealing.

Are you then going to change this system?

Desired outcome: My money should have been refunded without any issues.
