Illinois Movers Inc review: I would like a refund of $10,500 for the overcharge and the damaged goods.

Hired them to move our household items from Huntley, Il to Fuquay Varina, NC pick up items on 7/26/22 and deliver to NC 8/11/22. They claimed to be a family owned company that would do all the moving...Instead they had 2 other moving companies to move our items. The gentlemen that picked up our items were drinking beer on the job, lots of it! One of the workers kept putting his hands on my waist and shoulders. (Iam 78yrs old) They showed up late on the 26 so had to come back the next day. They left several of the items they were to take in the garage area, and when told them they suggested we find someone else to come and get them, they were not coming back. They stored our furnishings for about 3 weeks (not sure where) By the time we received them 1/3 of the boxes were crushed and much of our furniture damaged, paper shredder, DVD player, cedar chest crushed. Our new couch was sliced while taking the plastic from it, lamps smashed, cover to our grill was shredded (HOW?) My recumbent bike (very expensive) broken. They kept changing the price of the move that was originally quoted. $8,000.00 then it kept increasing until in the end to $21,000.00 I could understand how it could have been a little over but not that much!. They would not deliver our items until we paid the full price, help property hostage. Charged our credit card, twice for deposit of $2,640.00 and then another $838.00 that was not approved and would not refund it. They used Best Qlty Movers and Dependable movers (not as I was told they would only use their business. I have kept trying to call them, but they will not answer their phones. We are missing items, that we know they loaded, like latter's, shelving, flower pots, mower, trimmers, batteries for golf cart, 2 dollies. Paint all over some items, we did not have paint so not sue where that came from. Too many items damaged to list, still keep finding it as we unpack. A total nightmare, do not want anyone else to have to go though this. I had to go to a hospital due to nerves after all this and I am usually a very easy going person.
