Pure Telecom Honouring Terms and Conditions

I requested a cancellation (not a move) of my service on 9th February 2022.

Pure Telecom acknowledged my request, yet failed to fulfill it.

They tried to hold me accountable for an extra bill, and then some.

I refused to pay the bill and they belittled me on the phone, spoke over me, and passed me around because nobody would take responsibility for this mistake.

As per Pure Telecoms Terms, I requested a cancellation out of contract. I DID NOT request my service to be moved to another provider.

So far, they have refused to acknowledge that I am not liable to pay any charges past the 9th of February 2022.

Desired outcome: I would like a public apology on my publicly visible Facebook post, as this behaviour is downright criminal.I would like a pro rata bill that ends as of the 9th of February 2022.

Pure Telecom Mis-selling landline and poor customer service

I was missold a landline which wasn't working. They couldn't correct the problem and didn't call back.

Then they kept saying they would call, it would be sorted and it never was.

The line was essential for medical reasons. This was advised a number of times.

Desired outcome: Leave the company. I want nothing to do with them. Get an apology.

Pure Telecom broadband

These people are money grabbers whose customer service is terrible.there sales team harresed me into setting an appointment for connection even though i kept telling them i would not be there i gave a friends number for them to call they never called then charged me 120euro for a missed appointment these people are not at all interested in customers just money i advice anyone to stay away from them .with this attitude they wont be around long

Pure Telecom broadband / landline

My customer number is [protected] and today (15th august 2018) I cancelled this service, which was not realiable nor the speed promised anyway, and I had this awful surprise that I would have to pay 150 euro fee plus 156 euro clawback fee for a discount in a total of 306 euro for cancelling their service before the end, which was a 18-month contract.
What is outrageous to me is that this kind of information was NEVER presented to me in any moment. Nor did I had access to the contract they always mention. I would certainly would not have accepted had I this information before. I contacted them only by phone when I joined and didn't hear a thing about this.
Their customer service by phone said they would send the contract now, along with a bag for the modem to be collected. It's a shame this kind of information would be provided only now.
What I would expect is the contract to be cancelled without any fees, given they were not clear. And I would return the modem or any equipment provided.
Bad experience with Pure telecom!

Pure Telecom broadband and landline

Pure telecom
My experience with pure telecom
I signed up with them for broadband and landline. An engineer arrived at my house on a saturday to connect up, he had no modem with him so he connected me up to an 8 year old vodafone modem I had. He told me the landline would be live in an hour and if not it would be working first thing monday morning. Monday morning the landline still wasn’t working so I rang pure telecom and they told me it would take 24 hours (There was more than 24 hours gone since saturday afternoon). Tuesday morning still no landline, I called again and was told it would definitely be working on wednesday morning. I also asked about a modem, the agent was surprised I didn’t have one and said it would be delivered within 24 hours, he even gave me the number for the courier company that would be delivering it so I could check and see what time it would arrive. Wednesday morning still no landline. I called the courier company and they had nothing for me.
So before I even began service with pure telecom I had problems. I decided to cancel the whole order and was told there would be cancellation fees!
My advice is avoid pure telecom they are unprofessional and incompetent. Waste of time.
