Ideal Image cool sculpting, promised results then received none

I went in for all of my appointments for a cool sculpting procedure for the area under my chin. almost every appointment I went to the machine did not hold and they had to restart, but they promised me results nonetheless, then at the final consultation, they showed me the pictures, admitted to little-to-no progress and then told me nothing more and I left.

Ideal Image Appointment

Look. You are holding $3,300 of mine and continue to run my debit card for $1800. I have yet to even go to an appointment and no longer want to go to ideal image for any of their services. Give me my money back. This is ridiculous. No matter what your stupid contract says, you cannot make me use your services. I bought into all of this silliness. My first appointment was just a couple of weeks out in April 2022. Two days before my appointment the Tulsa Oklahoma office cancelled on me. They scheduled my next appointment for September 16, 2022. WHAT THE?! My only option was to go to Oklahoma City, OK which now instead of an 1 1/2 hour drive it was a 3 hour drive. This appointment was for June 23rd. By then I had had it and cancelled the appt and demanded the $3300 back they are holding hostage. I have called every day since to no avail. This is ridiculous. I have been able to get an appointment with a very reputable company within 3 days of my initial phone call. I just want my money back.

That is what they are doing to all of us. What is worst, for us who used ALLY, they got the money in full. No service, no appointments.

What kills me is now I am paying out of pocket to have laser hair removal. And I am paying ALLY. And they had all the entire $2,800.

They are still running adds, and emailing and texting them to me.

How can a company do this in America?

I wrote the Attorney General, ALLY, the Better Business Bureau, and I got nowhere.

I really hope we can do a lawsuit.

Ideal Image Pain and have been feeling ill

They have told me that I well feel no pain and that I well see results in about a couple days on my first session which I yet have seen they also didn’t tell me which I shouldn’t do or do when ask if I need to work out they told me no they are liers and the amount they charge is crazy I have been and Intense pain and have had leg pain and back pain since I had this done all I want is a refund of the session I have not used and cancel what ever contract I have

Ideal Image Refund

I'm completely disappointed with how poorly the representatives at Ideal Image Fort Lauderdale has handled this situation. June 7, 2022 I went into one of your locations (Las Olas - Ft. Lauderdale, FL) for the Ulta Therapy session that was booked since the previous month as a mother's day gift from my kids. I arrived to appointment at least 30mins ahead of time, just to ensure everything was seamless. I was then greeted by my therapist who prepared everything, but at not even two minutes into the procedure I had to tell her to stop because, the pain was so excruciating and unbearable. The therapist began to apologize, and stated on a scale of 1-10 the pain would be a 10. She even stated that she has made suggestions to her team that some sort of numbing or medication is needed for these type of procedures. I feel very misled as it was never explained to me prior to my appointment that this going to be something unbearable. I've made several contact to the location in an attempt to get the issue resolved and my refund but I've yet to be contacted.

Ideal Image None provided

On 6/20/22 I spoke with Josephine E about the cool sculpting procedure, we talk about it and I decided to sign up for service, I didn’t receive an invoice so I reached on earlier today to request an itemized invoice, I was told they couldn’t provide me with an itemized invoice and the rep hang up, I called back and spoke with two other Rep which was rude and unprofessional, after a unpleasant conversation, I decide to go ahead and cancel. Nicky. F at the corporate office told me she would send in the request for cancellation and refund and provide me a case number. The conversation did not sit well with me, so I called back and asked for a manager, the manager Abigail Z was unapologetic, rude, unprofessional and had an attitude. She stated she will not be refunding me despite the fact it’s been less than 24hrs and no service or product was provided to me, and she is in the highest position at the corporate office., she will go ahead and note the account with lies to make sure i didn't get my money back, i think they should review her conversations.

Desired outcome: A Full refund because service was not provided.

Ideal Image Breach of contract/price gouging

Hair removal contract 2007 and one 2008 with the "all inclusive" package "includes unlimited touch-up sessions at no additional charge, provided that you have complied with this agreement, including, but not limited to, the treatment schedule. If you have not complied with the treatment schedule or terms of this agreement, then additonal charges at our then current rate will apply. One touch-up session may be used every quarter following the regular last session.'

I was told and it was in the news that you settled a class action law suit concerning this matter. After that point, the agreement was honored, after they researched it. You bought these contracts when you bought this complany. You now must honor them. A legal team already took this exact contract for many people to court and won. My daughters and my contracts have not changes since then, the owner of your company has changed. You have proven yourselves to be a dishonest company in trying to get out of these such contracts. I wonder if others like me would also be interested in having their contracts honored legally.

Your legal dept called me today, was kurt, rude and demanding. She also hung up on me. She tried to tell me that I had to use these free subsequent sessions within a year. Nowhere on the contract does it state this. The contract states that unlimited touch-up sessions at no additional charge. One touch up session may be used"every" quarter following the regular session. I repeat every quarter. If I must, I will consult my legal team on this, but I will bill you for whatever that cost me. I will ask for a full refund of both my contract, my daughter chelseas contract which is the same agreement, plus all the time this has taken me. I will also ask for reimbursement of treatment I must pay for elsewhere to finish the job you left incomplete. Chelseas contract is below, mine in safe deposit box and is much more. You owe just chelsea $1,120.00 and paula more.

Ideal Image Scammed and harassed by ideal image

On 6/1/22, I had a free zoom consult with ideal image at 1:15pm. Prior to the appointment, I was called countless times by the company trying to talk me into taking the zoom consult. If they called and I was unavailable, a voicemail was left every time. During the zoom consult with Celia Sodini, pricing for laser hair removal was discussed. Ally Lending was used to see if I would be approved to proceed with the elective laser hair removal. The total coming to about $6,000. Celia misrepresented the information by stating that payment options could be changed and could cancel if I changed my mind about treatment if it was before my first appointment. She had me sign what she called a "consent" form for the laser hair removal. Turns out once again, the information was misrepresented. On 6/2/22, Ally Lending sent an email stating the payment would be sent to ideal image two days from that date. I responded to the email stating I no longer needed the loan because I was cancelling all services with ideal image. the money from Ally Lending was still sent in full regardless of this email and having NO treatments. On 6/6/22 around 6pm, I spoke with Ally Lending about disputing the case. On 6/6/22 following the call with Ally, I called ideal image to dispute further services and verify my appointment on 6/15 had been cancelled. Since, I have received countless phone calls from ideal image trying to discuss why I would like to cancel the elective laser hair removal. I emailed Celia and was told there is nothing she can do regarding the refund. I was told the only way to fully cancel with refund was to fill out a detailed health history form proving I was medically not for treatment. On 6/9/22, I spoke with Ally Lending to ask if the money had been sent in full which it had been. I asked the representative why the money had been sent prior to treatment regardless of my email stating to not send the money due to cancelling with ideal image. The representative stated that was between me and ideal image. I also asked if I have to make a payment would I be refunded depending on what happens with the case which the woman stated yes. She informed me to wait to hear back from the case representative. On 6/10/22 at 11:33am, I received a phone call from Marion Bennett. I missed the call, and a voicemail was left stating that the medical director looked at my health history form stating I did not have any contraindications for laser hair removal and would not be refunded. HOWEVER, the health history form was INCOMPLETE. I had not filled out the health history form in full and did not click the submit form. I immediately called Marion to inform her the health history form had not been completed. In response, she stated she was closing the case. On 6/10/22, I submitted a complaint to the BBB regarding my experience. On 6/11/22, I emailed Marion stating my experiencing, how I am suffering from severe anxiety regarding the laser hair removal, that the health history form has been completed and submitted, and that the case should be reopened. I had not received a response as of noon on 6/14/22, so I emailed her again as a second attempt for a response. She then stated that the medical director was reviewing my health history for and would let me know if I am medically unfit for treatment. If so, I would receive a refund. If not, she stated I would still need to pay regardless of not receiving any treatment from the company. I have never stepped into the building. I asked for a copy of the consent form that I had signed. She stated that the payment break down was the "consent." I do not see a signature on the copy I have been sent. On 6/14/22, I emailed Joshua with Ally Lending who is the representative handling the dispute case. I summarized the phone conversation that was had with the woman representative on 6/9/22 to verify the information was correct. I am waiting a response.

On 6/13/22, I received an email from the BBB regarding a response that Ideal Image made about the complaint I submitted. Following the detailed description of my experience, the company responded "we are currently working with this guest to resolve." I had to continue to reach out to ideal image to get a response regarding the request to cancel. I thought it was interesting that prior to the BBB complaint the company had no problem trying to contact me nonstop and feel as if I was being bullied by the company. However, once the complaint was sent to ideal image, the communication from the company stopped regardless of me reaching out.

I am suffering from severe anxiety related to the laser hair removal and this entire process of being mislead, the company misrepresenting the information, and harassing me. I am confused on how a company can be paid for a procedure that has not been performed. In addition, I do not think it is medically ethical for a company to need a medical diagnosis in order to cancel an ELECTIVE procedure with ample time notice. Being in healthcare myself, I do not feel as though this company is advocating for my health and instead is simply seeking a profit. This entire experience has been a nightmare and feel as if I have been scammed.

Please if anyone is able to help me or advise me on what I should do that would be wonderful. Thank you in advance.

I have not been refunded. I have filed with the VA attorney generals office as well. I am waiting to hear back from them. Ally lending just emailed me stating they should hear something back tomorrow. I have yet to get an update from the medical director at ideal image which I find interesting. They were quickly to respond when the health history was incomplete. Now that it is filled out, they have not responded and has been a week or longer since I emailed stating for it to be reviewed. Please let me know if have any recommendations and if you hear anything back.

Also, I have to start making payments at the beginning of July. It is so frustrating, and I really wanted this resolved prior to the payment date. It is making me nervous since I have not heard back from the Attorney General's Office yet. It has been about a week since I filled with them.

I have not been refunded. I have medical contraindications but have been told that I do not. I have had laser hair removal in the past with complications along with the severe anxiety that is affecting me daily due to this. I have reached out to the Virginia Attorney General's Office last week. I have yet to hear back from them yet. I am reaching out to another lawyer in my area that has experience with this company as well. This has been such a nightmare and upsetting situation. I feel as if Ideal Image is not respecting my right as a patient and my right to make decisions regarding my body. I feel as if I am being harassed and bullied. I have lost all trust with this company. I am sorry to hear you are going through the same situation. Please let me know if you hear anything back. I had to reach out to Marion again today asking about my health history since it had been over a week since I submitted my health history form. I feel regardless of contraindications the medical director would say it is appropriate for laser hair removal. It is elective and a medical diagnosis should not be needed to cancel a procedure like this. I have fully lost trust in them as a company. I feel as if I am being robbed of my rights as a patient and robbed of my money.

Ideal Image Laser hair removal contract

On a Wednesday night I had a free consultation with ideal image with a consultant to go over pricing. Little did I know that I was going to be pressured into getting preapproved for a loan then signing for that loan and then signing a contract that I was given no time to read and was pressured the entire time. I was reassured several times by my consultant that I would be able to cancel within 72 hours. She even reassured me that I could reach out to her using her email and she would personally help me get out of the contract. This zoom call was also recorded on the end of ideal image. The next day I had to have a procedure to remove an atypical mole due to severe risk of melanoma. After this procedure and after seeing countless reviews of burns and scarring I decided I no longer wanted to follow through with receiving any treatments from ideal image. I emailed this consultant four different times and have not yet received any email. I emailed her 24 hours after I signed the contract. Less than 40 hours after I signed the contract I contacted Alli lending and canceled my loan. The next day and still less than 72 hours I called ideal image and spoke with a representative. She told me I could not get out of the contract and I only could if I had a medical excuse from a doctor. I was very upset because I was told several times by my original consultant that I had 72 hours to cancel. I told her to go ahead with setting up the report to send in a medical excuse by the chance I could get one. Monday I decided to file a complaint with BBB and they had responded to it with the same excuse that I needed to have a medical reasoning to get a refund even though I have not paid ideal image yet I have not had any treatments yet and I don’t plan to have any treatments. Ideal image is extremely difficult to get in contact with and if they do get in contact with you it is very short. Another representative called me today Tuesday morning telling me how I should submit a medical claim in hopes of potentially getting my contract canceled. I don’t need to submit any medical claim I just need my contract canceled. I do not want to do business with these people. They are unethical and I do not stand for any business that conducts business the way they do. I need out of this contract and I will not be paying ideal image anything. I will accept any help I can get with getting out of this contract .

Ideal Image Unethical way of getting a contract signed

I originally was called my M. at the S. office of Ideal Image to "sell" me on procedures for their new W., CA location. With the understanding that she was checking to see if I would pass their credit finance before I knew it she had me signing a Docusign where I had no understanding I would not have 72 hours to back out of the contact. All along I was thinking it would not be valid unless I completed the procedures. No explanation otherwise. It seemed very deceitful. Immediately I tried to call and then email M. to no avail. I called and emailed the W. business. After a few days I spoke with E. in Reno sales and C. (not sure her position other than she was referred to me to help me with my situation). After a couple of conversations, C. said they could give me a $250 lifetime membership for free (since it was never presented as an option for a discount on services) and then she referred me to finish up my contract with E. for the discounts that come with the membership etc.. At first E. was very helpful and was able to see that the procedure for laser was not a full face laser unlimited hair removal procedure, as originally contracted with M. but a partial unlimited face laser hair removal. She said with that change the discount given with the lifetime membership would still bring the cost to $4100, which was my original contract bid price. She was working with numbers and said she could possibly get my contract to around $3800 instead of $4100 with the discounts added by she would have to clear the change with C. Through an email from C. she said she was not authorized to do that and she would refer me to someone else. I texted E. and told her. She replied once with no resolution. Since then I have heard nothing from C. or E. and so I called to speak to the manager at W. office today (Monday, June 13, 2022) and still have not heard anything. I was told the manager was not in the W. office but they would put an "urgent" on the message to call me sometime this afternoon. Still nothing. This has been a lot of added stress and it seems very sketchy to me by the way Ideal Image is handling my concerns. I would appreciate a resolution to my questions with Ideal Image... either cancel my contract so I can go elsewhere with a company who cares about my business and treats me with respect or call me back so I can finalize my contract and move forward.

Desired outcome: A resolution to my contract questions. Either finalize my contract changes or let me out of my contract so I can go elsewhere.

Ideal Image Took my money and did not provide services!

In August of 2021, I purchased a yearly membership for Ideal Image, which was $250.00. I also purchased Botox, Fillers for cheeks, lips, smokers lines and basic fillers. I also did Ultherapy on my neck and face. I did not do the peri oral I paid for because it was extremely painful. Anyway, due to medical issues, I can not do cheek fillers. I have zygomatic dental implants, so cheek fillers are not allowed, I went on to use basic filler, Botox, lip filler and smoker line filler. And even bought more Botox. I have been trying to either get a refund for the cheek fillers which were $1500.00 or credit my account so I could purchase more filler and Botox. They tried 3 times to get me to sign a document and I refused. Because in the document, it stated, by signing it, I give up all my rights to use my products at Ideal Image. It also stated that I am agreeing not to talk bad about the company on Social Media or any other platforms. And all I was getting was a refund for the cheek fillers and I would lose my Botox and remaining filler. I would not sign it and they completely depleted my account! They took all of my product! I am extremely angry at this point and would not recommend this place at all. Go to a Dermatologist!

There's no contraindication for cheek fillers and zygomatic dental implants if the implants were placed first. The implants are way below the dermal layer.

Ideal Image Cool sculpting with ideal image

I have experienced and seen several reviews where they oversell the amount of units you will need for your first service and then they are not able to use all of those on the treatment leaving you with leftover "Cycles" or units that they want you to use on a second treatment. Then, when things don't go well on your first treatment and you want a refund of any unused "Cycles/Units" they tell you that you cannot get a refund but to use the credit on other services. (Bait and Switch?)

I am considering a class action at this time as I've seen many Google reviews at many locations with the same complaint. Sales agents measure your body and tell you how many cycles you will need for Cool Sculpting, even going so far as to draw onto your body where they will be placed and documenting it in their file. And then when the actual treatment comes, you have left over cycles/units that are not eligible for a refund. This is unethical. If your people mistakenly tell you how much is required then you should refund what is not able to be used.

I was told how many to purchase and that was in excess. Had I decided how many to get on my own, that would be a different matter. You won't do the service until it is prepaid, and then told me how much to prepay and then refused to do that much because it wasn't safe. Yet that's somehow a penalty that should be mine? RIPOFF!

Desired outcome: I am owed $1,272. Judging by the amount of reviews I've seen online, I can only imagine how much money is sitting out there owed to people who have been duped by the scheme.

Ideal Image Coolsculpting

I originally went told them my stomach was an area that I was not happy with after having two children. I also was not happy with the fat pocket under my chin that I wanted done. I signed a contract with them they did the contouring on my stomach which unfortunately made it look worse and they told me I didn’t have enough fat under my chin to do which I’ve talked to several people after which is unheard of, I tried multiple times through Covid to communicate with them opening a case no one ever calls me back I feel like I’ve just been totally ripped off I gave them money I’m still paying on it with Ally credit and my stomach‘s a mess and they never did my chin and when I went back they told me I had to give them 400 more dollars.

Ideal Image Cool sculpting

On August of 2021, I purchased a package for 3100.00 for cool sculpting. I never set a date as they were booked for almost 2 months. I told them I’d call them back to set a date, and then decided to wait on this. I called and tried to get a refund, but was given the runaround for months. First, after waiting a week, I finally got a call back and was told I could get a refund, but I’d have to wait till the end of September. So I waited, and nothing. I called them again and was told the girl that told me I could get a refund was now working in a different department. So I asked to talk to someone higher up and they said yes, but could take a few days for them to get back to me. We’ll, months later I called them in february and was told I couldn’t get a refund, she could only extend my contract for another 6 months. I never even knew that their was a time limit on this. I let her extend my contract, but told her I still wanted my money back. We’ll, it’s now June and I still don’t have a refund. I am dumb for not reading any of these reviews here or on BBB. They have so many bad reviews. I never would have even tried to do this. So many bad reviews in one month. Do not give this company any of your money ahead of time!

I entered into a contract for services based on the agreement that I would receive treatment to my double chin. This "sale" was done via zoom. The Woman I spoke with, assured me I could use coolsculpting on my chin which would cost a ".4" Contract was paid in full. I get to my appointment, and they cannot accommodate me, the size of my chin does not work with the device. I proceeded with other cool sculpting sessions to other areas of my body, after being told in person at the Henderson location that I could use those points for other services OR could receive that ".4" back worth $182.50. I have repeatedly asked for my money back. I get sent to some case manager. She cannot help me, they do not give refunds even though I have been told and reassured I could. How is it permitted that customers can receive allegedly inaccurate information from local offices and not be made whole by the corporate office?

Desired outcome: GIve me my credit back in the form of cash.

Ideal Image Charged for services I didn't receive.

I was scheduled to have juvaderm. I had a vertual consultation with a nurse practitioner. Because I have a shell fish allergy they would not preform the procedure. I did not receive the services. I was charged on my Ally financial for the services anyway. I called the dispute service to talk about the unprofessional way of the company. I have not received any calls or follow-up. I called back several weeks later following up on the dispute.

The lady hung up on me. I could not hear anything but screaming kids in the background. . This company is the biggest scam ever.. They do nothing but steal..

Desired outcome: Refund my Ally Financial

DANGEROUS COMPANY:

I have written my reviews on Google and Yelp and I am looking for other places to leave a review of this shady, fraudulent Company.

Every bad review is saying the same thing and more.

I think the only reason this company still has its doors open is because they are ABUSIVE and try to INTIMIDATE people.

I have several thousands of dollars supposedly coming back to me,

I’m doubting this will happen.

If this doesn’t happen in the time frame they said, I WILL be taking them to court.

THEIR ARE ENOUGH COMPLAINTS ON IDEAL IMAGE IN VANCOUVER, WA. FOR A CIVIL SUIT.

This company should NOT get away with this and I feel it is my responsibility to not let this happen to other people.

Their ‘Sorry’s’ are computerized and their intentions of following through are dismal at best.

Ideal Image Service

Set up a consultation with Ideal Image. While on my consultation she rushed me through a contract and took my card number without mentioning she was charging for the service right then and there. I gave her the number thinking she was just using it to hold the appointment. Later when I had to cancel the appointment I had numerous issues. They never return my calls, they hang up on me, they are always giving me the run around or telling me to wait another 3-5 business days. Candice J was particularly rude and my assigned case worker Erin was never available or sick. Strongly recommend NEVER using this company.

Ideal Image Full refund

This started back in January, when I purchased the treatment in Knoxville TN. The sales person assured me that the treatment could be transferred across the country no issues and that one area that I didn't want to treat that came in the package could be exchanged directly in the office that I would get the treatment. I paid a little bit over half of treatment up front and financed the rest which I've been paying monthly. My first appt was schedule at 6:00 pm by the seller, that's when I learn that sales people have no communication at all with the actual office where treatment is getting received. When I showed up I was told that they couldn't treat all areas at that time, there wasn't enough time, so I had to reschedule. I did and went back a few weeks after that (since there was no other day available). this was in Feb timing. I learned that I was moving to Jacksonville FL, so I asked for the transfer to Orange Park office, I was told they would take care of it and I would receive a phone call in the next couple of days. Weeks went by and nobody called, so I called Orange Park office and they said they didn't do that, that I should have called them directly to do the transfer and that they didn't have opening till May 14th. I took that appt. When it got closer to my appt date, I realized I had another appt out of town for my 6 month old so I called trying to reschedule but was told they didn't have anything available before July, so I decided to cancel my baby's appt to go to Ideal Image. The Friday before the appt (May 13th) got a phone call saying they had to cancel my appt due to them getting a new machine but that they would call to reschedule, I asked by when since I had been told nothing was available before July, and they said it would be within the week. Didn't get a call back, so on Tuesday I called Jacksonville's office to get transferred since it had been 3 months since my previous (and only) treatment. They were very nice and said they would see me Friday May 20th. On Thursday I got a call from the Knoxville office saying there had been an "issue" with the transfer due to area not treated and Jacksonville Office could not see me before it was resolved, so my appt had been canceled due to this. She said she was going to take care of it that day and call me back later so I wouldn't lose my appt in Jacksonville. I didn't hear back, so I called Jacksonville's office on Friday to confirm my appt and was told issue hadn't been resolved so they couldn't treat me. I called Knoxville's office, they said account manager was working on it but she was in a meeting and couldn't take my call and since she couldn't do anything to help me she was going to disconnect the call, so she hung up instead of transferring me to someone that could help. Called later that day and was told she was busy with another client but would call me back that same Friday, I let customer service rep know that I would be calling back if I Didn't hear from her. She didn't call. So I called back and was told office was closed and nobody that could help me was available and they didn't work weekends so I should wait till Monday. This morning I called again and was told the Account Manager was busy and she would call me back. I have never been treated this bad by any company before, at this point all I want is to cancel my contract and get a refund, but, of course, the only person that can do that is the account manager that I cannot get ahold of. It's been 5 months since I got this treatment and had only had one session due to scheduling, system and communication issues within the company.

Ideal Image Being charge for product I don’t have

I did a consultation and signed up for services. When I went to make my appointment at a local level I was told that I’m not a candidate for their services so I immediately called back to Ideal Image to cancel. They got the contract canceled but said they had sent out product and couldn’t stop the shipping on it. Said they will refund me the product as soon as I ship it back to them. I received the product took it to the post office and took pictures dropping it in the dropbox. Sent them the pictures showing that I sent it back and then they told me they couldn’t refund my money until they received it back. I said OK no problem a month later still hadn’t got my refund back. I mailed that back March 25 and it’s now May 23 and they said they still haven’t received the product back. Refuse to give me my money, take my calls or help in any other way. They want me to pay for product that I don’t even have. They have the worst customer service I have ever worked with and as a multi million dollar company you think they could refund $108 for product that I don’t have. I’m telling everyone not to do Ideal Image .

Desired outcome: I want my ally lending credited back for the product including all interest charges and any late fees

Ideal Image hair removal

I bought a package deal for my daughter for hair removal in the bikini and tush area... about $2500. it did not work... there were notes in her file that the previous removal did not work. we reached out, both separately and together to the location we went to in Lakeland fl. I finally went to the location in person. I was told that the managing nurse would be calling my daughter to discuss. that did not happen for weeks. then when called they did indeed say that there were notes in her file. they stated they would be calling her to make appointments. I believe they stated 2 free then the rest at a charge to fix their mistakes. well, no one called her. She just told me that it looks like she never had any hair removal procedures... this is a rip off. To top it off, the location we signed up at is a franchise and the corporate Ideal Image said that they cannot help... what BS!

we need to stop giving them money!

If anyone does get a class action suit going, I am in!

Desired outcome: I want a refund to everyone slighted and an apology to everyone slighted. Also, telling the customer up front of the % success rate would be good too!!!
