I am seeking reimbursement and resolution regarding bookkeeping, tax preparation, historical bookkeeping, and billing services provided by Housecall Pro.
Over approximately three years, I paid Housecall Pro more than $10,000 for invoicing, bookkeeping, historical bookkeeping, and tax-related services for my business.
After reviewing my records with legal counsel, duplicate charges, unexplained charges, and billing discrepancies were identified. My attorney reviewed years of bank statements and supporting documentation and found reimbursement claims as well as duplicate charges.
The most serious issue involves the loss of business records. I was informed that years of bookkeeping records, historical bookkeeping data, tax-related records, customer payment records, invoices, and financial information were deleted and could not be recovered.
These records were essential to my business operations and tax compliance. Because the records could not be produced, I was forced to hire another company and incur additional expenses to recreate work that I had already paid Housecall Pro to perform.
For months, I have attempted to resolve this matter directly through customer support, phone calls, online communications, and documentation submissions. Despite repeated assurances that the matter would be reviewed, I have not received a satisfactory resolution.
I am requesting reimbursement for disputed charges, services that cannot be substantiated, and damages associated with the loss of business records.
Supporting documentation, attorney correspondence, and bank records are available and have been provided.
Claimed loss: 8-10k
Desired outcome: The amount totaled in Bank Records close to $9,000

You paid them to keep your books safe and they lost years of records? That is not a mistake, that is a failure of basic responsibility. I am furious for you. You have bank statements, attorney letters, and a clear paper trail. That is exactly what you need. Keep leaning on that evidence. Do not let them hide behind "customer service" runaround. You deserve every penny back plus the cost of redoing their mess.
