On the 28th November I ordered a top online for my daughter for Christmas and was charged £133.99 but on the 29th November I had an email saying * unfortunately the item was no longer in stock, they had to cancel the order and told me my refund would take 2-5 working days but as of yet STILL NO REFUND IN MY ACCOUNT 09.12.24, the order ref was HOF40000085516847 and my name is Wendy Deane.
Please can this be rectified asap as I need the money to purchase another item

The wait in getting a refund from House of Fraser is quite unacceptable. Get in touch with their customer service with your order details and ask for a refund emphasizing it should be treated as important. If even that does not make them work in a better manner, take up the matter with your bank or card provider to cancel the transaction and get your money back. Alleviate the excuse of not letting them slow down your purchase plans for a longer period.
