We bought solar to help the environment and save on our electric bill. They said the bill would be zero or we might even get money back from the energy company. But since we got solar, our bill went up. They promised a new thermostat we could control with our phone, but we never got it. They said we could contact them for any issues, but I've only talked to one person who keeps saying "everything is working on our end" over and over. They won't come out to fix anything or talk to us. They keep saying someone will contact me, but they made a mistake and won't fix it. Having these solar panels seems pointless.

A technician came out and first said it was a software problem, but it wasn't. He came back a week later and said he didn't know what the problem was, so he would have to come back a third time. During his second visit, I mentioned that my neighbor's panel wires were chewed by squirrels because they didn't get a critter guard like I did. On his third visit, he tried to tell me that I had the same issue, but he didn't show any physical proof. I told him that Suntalk Solar was responsible for installing my critter guard, so if there was a problem, they should take care of it. He said it would cost $125 to send another technician and $75 per hour to fix the issue. Suntalk should be held accountable because they didn't install the critter guard properly. Nobody else has touched the panels.
