Homeserve Furniture Disappointing Service from Homeserve Furniture: Buoyant Fairfield Sofas Pilling After Only a Few Months

Carpets. I'm so disappointed with the service I received from Homeserve Furniture. I purchased two Buoyant Fairfield Sofas and they started to pull as soon as they arrived. I contacted Homeserve and they sent someone out to take a look. They said it wasn't a manufacturing fault and that it was my fault for sitting on the sofa. I mean, come on, who buys a sofa to not sit on it?

Anyway, I tried to get Clayton's Carpets to engage with me over the report that Homeserve provided, but they refused to talk to me about it. All they wanted was for me to sign a one-line report and that was it. It's now been five months and I'm still waiting for an independent report because these guys are useless.

The pilling on my couch is getting worse every day and it looks like an old sofa even though it's only been a few months. I wish I had kept my old sofa that I could actually sit on without any issues. These guys are cowboys and I wouldn't recommend letting them into your home. If you zoom in on the pictures, you can see the pilling growing all over the sofa. Thanks to Homeserve, I can't even have a conversation with Clayton's Carpets about it.

Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received from Homeserve Furniture. They didn't take responsibility for the issue and blamed it on me for sitting on the sofa. I wouldn't recommend using them for any furniture repairs or purchases.

Homeserve Furniture Avoid Homeserve Furniture Repairs - Dishonest and Unreliable

I had a couple of visits from Homeserve Furniture after Oakfurnitureland asked them to come and take a look at my leather 3 piece suite. I paid ?2500 for it, but after just two weeks, the leather on one of the chair arms became loose and saggy. I was obviously not happy about this, but Homeserve Furniture told me that it was not a fault and that it was due to fair wear and tear. They refused to repair or replace it, which I thought was a joke!

I decided to contact an independent firm of furniture experts to get a second opinion. They immediately said that the chair was faulty and of poor quality. It seems that Homeserve Furniture Repairs don't know what they are talking about or are just trying to protect the interests of Oakfurnitureland, who pay their wages.

When Homeserve Furniture submitted their final report, they lied and said that they had been at my house for an hour when in fact it was only about 15 minutes. They also said that they had removed the excess leather by smoothing it with their hand, which is a complete lie. The photos they took were also misleading, as they took them in such a way that the arm in question was in the shade, so the ripples could not be seen.

In my opinion, these people are a complete disgrace and should be avoided at all costs. If you want to get your furniture repaired, I suggest you find someone else to do it.

Homeserve Furniture Unreliable and Uncomfortable: My Experience with Homeserve Furniture

So, I had to deal with Homeserve Furniture for my new sofa's corner section. It was a real pain in the neck, let me tell you. They came over three times, and each time it was something different. First, they just looked at it. Second, they added some straps for support. Third, they replaced the cushion interior. But guess what? None of it worked! The corner section is still lower than the rest, and it's really uncomfortable to sit on. You can see it in the photos I took.

The worst part is that the technicians ask you to sign a blank screen, so you don't know what they've written until later. And when you try to follow up with your furniture retailer, they just tell you that the case is closed based on Homeserve's report. It's like they're not even listening to you!

I mean, I get it. Maybe there's no structural fault or anything. But if you buy a pair of shoes, and they're both marked the same size, but one is an inch shorter than the other, what would you say? It's just not right.

Thankfully, Furniture Village finally agreed to a replacement. But even then, I had to deal with Homeserve again. They had to do another report before anything could happen. And when I asked for a different company to do the assessment, I was told that the supplier only accepts Homeserve. It's like they're in cahoots or something!

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Homeserve Furniture to anyone. They're just not reliable, and it's a real hassle to deal with them.

Homeserve Furniture Homeserve Furniture Repairs: A Company That Doesn't Care About Customers or Quality Products

If you're looking for a company that truly cares about their products and customers, Homeserve Furniture Repairs is not the one. They employ people who are not experts, are not impartial, and have trouble with basic math. I agree with the other negative reviews about this company and wish I had seen them before.

We thought we were the only ones with a bad experience, but it turns out that many others have had similar issues. Furniture Village led us to believe that Homeserve Furniture Repairs were experts, but that couldn't be further from the truth.

It's shocking that they have contracts with so many companies, but if people keep leaving negative reviews, they won't be in business for much longer. We found their engineer to be incompetent and their report to be misleading. We have the photographs and reports to prove it.

We were intimidated at first, but once we asked for a copy of the report, we saw how inaccurate it was. We have taken the necessary steps with a reputable company to fix the issue. We're grateful to Sitejabber, Trustpilot, and Google reviews for warning others about Homeserve Furniture Repairs.

In response to Homeserve Furniture Repairs on Trustpilot, we have uploaded photographs that clearly show 14 slats missing and 9cm gaps instead of the industry standard of 7cm. The photographs don't lie. We're not alone in our negative experience, as there are many other negative reviews about this company.

We paid a premium when shopping at Furniture Village, thinking we would get quality products and peace of mind. Instead, we got Homeserve Furniture Repairs. We just want what we paid for, nothing more.
