Heartland review: Left with debt after the fact

I hired Heartland Legal Group to negotiate lower payments to my creditors. For examples, promises of 50% less than the balance due. I think the program was for 2 years. I continued to pay for almost 3 years. Then they released me along with my unpaid debt because of a lawsuit they were facing. Now i still have a handful of creditors after money that I don't have. I think I paid Heartland Legal more money in fees that my actual creditors.

Is there anything that I can do to recoup the amount of fees that were paid and make them responsible for the unpaid debt?
