LoseTheBackPain unauthorized credit charges and unethical behaviour

I faced the same problem as the ones listed by many on your complaints board page. In July this year (2015) I ordered Arthritis Reversed for $9 and paid shipping charges for a free CD set and a free trial membership for a month. During that period I wrote several mails to their customer service stating that I did not want to continue the subscription once the trial period was over. I must have sent out more than 12 emails to them but to no avail. They charged me $19.95 in August and in Sept in spite of the numerous mails. Finally when I raised a hue and cry by writing to a network of people related to this field and attaching the mail trail i finally got a response. They gave a new page to write my complaint and not their customer service ID. Anyway they have agreed to cancel future subscriptions but there is no mention of refunding the total amount of $39.90 charged thus far which was totally unauthorized.I think it is my right to get this amt refunded. I live in India and every dollar counts for us. I had even written saying I cant afford this amount being deducted as it works out to more than Rs 1300 a month. I hope somebody in this fradulent company will see this and refund the same Rebecca George P.S- I cant seem to upload the mail trail sent to them as early as July.So I'm pasting the mail trail below: MAIL TRAIL 1. LoseTheBackPain heal n soothe

My encounter with the company started in July 2014. I wanted to purchase one trial bottle of Heal n Soothe, so I entered the necessary information into their electronic website to try to order one bottle. However, somehow the website kept rejecting my credit card details.

In August 2014, I tried again to order one bottle, I was successful at the end for one entry.

So I checked my account with the Healthy Back Institute, I was surprised that I was charged with two bottles. Anyway, I thought it was OK and I could try two bottles before making decision to take it long term.

The first bottle took approximately 8 weeks to get to my mail box. So I emailed them to ask about the second bottle. In fact, I kept asking every 2 to 3 months since then to ask why the second bottle still has not arrived. Various people at the customer loyalty team kept saying that they have reshipped the item. Of course, the second bottle never came.

In the recent two communications:
1. July 2015 - Chelsea from Customer Loyalty Team has asked the her colleague to reship the product; Heather Cannone sent me the following message:

The Following parcel was shipped on 2015-7-8.and will be delivered by International Mail *

Order #: 5964460
Ship To: CHEUK SAN LAW
Hong Kong
ShipVia: International Mail *
Ship Date: 2015-7-8

Parcel #: 1 of 1
18120 (Click To Track) Item # Qty Shipped Description
LWN-HNS-FT-90 1 HNS Free 14 day Trial (90ct Bottle)

*-International mail is shipped via an expediter called FedEx FIMS, which is a service from FedEX that ties in with your regional post office.

2. Sept 2015 - The second bottle still has not arrived. I wrote to Customer Loyalty Team. Celeste said that they would resend the bottle, but they could not refund the cost even if I did not need them to reship. A few days later, Jonathan said that this was the last time they would try to resend the bottle.

Heather Cannone sent me the following this time:

The Following parcel was shipped on 2015-9-9.and will be delivered by International Mail *

Order #: 6181931
Ship To: CHEUK SAN LAW
Country: HONG_KONG
ShipVia: International Mail *
Ship Date: 2015-9-9

Parcel #: 1 of 1
19518 (Click To Track) Item # Qty Shipped Description
LWN-HNS-FT-90 1 HNS Free 14 day Trial (90ct Bottle)
LWN-HNS-INS1 1 Heal n Soothe Info Packet
LWN-TYC 1 Thank You Post Card

*-International mail is shipped via an expediter called FedEx FIMS, which is a service from FedEX that ties in with your regional post office.

...

PLEASE NOTE the two 5 digits number with the (Click to track) in Heather Cannone's messages, ie 18120, 19518. I checked with FedEx and FedEx staff tells me all their tracking numbers are 12 digits whether it is local or international. I checked with HongKong Post (The one and only postal service in Hong Kong), they do not at all have any postal arrangement with FedEx.

So I am really wondering if the company has actually shipped the second bottle at all. I kept asking for proof whether the bottle has arrived in Hong Kong, but they were never able to provide it.

In terms of resolution, I hope that either:
1. they refund the postage and handling cost to me which was US$19.95, or
2. they manage to give me the second bottle of Heal n Soothe

My account's login name with the company is my email address.
If you need the actual email communications, I can send them to you. I have kept all of them from the beginning till now.

LoseTheBackPain arthritis pills

Ordered "free" shipment, then responded to an email (three times) telling them not to send more. They did anyway and charged my credit card. When I complained, they claim that their emails are "no reply" even though it doesn't say that anywhere on the email. Refuse to refund money. Not a nice company.

LoseTheBackPain they wanted only money

I had awful back pain and my doctor advised me to buy from the website www.losethebackpain.com. I placed the order 5 weeks ago already, but the company kept silence within these days. After 3 weeks the seller emailed me and excused, but he told that my order was out of stock. I waited another 3 weeks, but now I have understood that the company fooled me and they were interested only in money.

LoseTheBackPain their medicine didn't help me

I had terrible back pain and decided to contact the company www.losethebackpain.com. They advised me the best medicine and told how to use the medicine, but after couple of weeks I haven’t seen any changes. I called to the company and the rep told me to buy the second pack of the medicine. I bought the second package, but I didn’t see any result. I was shocked and stopped to buy from them.

LoseTheBackPain products never arrive and tracking nos dont' work. want my money back!!

I was doubed billed for an item I ordered too but they simply ignored my request for this refund until I kept chasing and emailing them.

However my orders below never arrive. When I asked for a refund many many many many times, they told me they would only rlefund me when the products arrive at my place and I reject them. However it is quite clear by now that the items are never going to arrive since it is already Dec. How can a product take sooooooooooo long to arrive. I always order things from America and they arrive at most 2 weeks. I checked the track numbers given for these orders but they don't work at all. This is clearly a scam. These are my orders that never arrive and I am from Singapore:

#5077852 Ship Date 10 Sep 2014 Super Joint Support
#5155791 Ship Date 7 Oct 2014 Heal N Sooth

I am considering going to my local newspaper and police to warn people about this if they still ignore me. Can anyone tell me how I can warn people in America not to be cheated by this company? Urgent please

LoseTheBackPain promotional material missed critical information

I read a promotional article on the Internet issued by The Healthy Back Institute regarding an Inversion Table that was supposed to remedy back problems. It came with a 30 day money back guarantee. I ordered the Table and paid $30.00 to have it shipped to me. When it arrived, I noticed it had a clear statement that one must have someone else in attendance when a person is using the table. This key information was not in any promotional material I received and if it was I would not have ordered it because I do not have anyone who could stand by me every time I wanted to use it. I shipped it back and received a refund of the cost of the table. It cost me $70 to ship it back and with the $30.00 I paid them to ship it to me I am out of pocket $100.00. They advertized another Inversion Table that was totally different from the original one I received and would not require someone to be at my side when I used it. I asked them to deduct the $100.00 I paid for shipping and I would buy the second product. They informed me they would not do that. I would not buy another product from The Healthy Back Institute because they should stand behind what they are selling and if they omitted key information that should have been included in their promotional material then they should absorb the cost.

I ordered a trail tub of tablets, and a tube of cream. Payment came out of my credit card account on 13th November. Then an other unordered tub of tablets came the next month. Payment was taken on 13th December. This order I will return. My fear is that more payments will be taken on the 13th of each month.

LoseTheBackPain stay away from this one

I ordered one bottle of Heal-n-Soothe (1 month's supply). I tried it for 2-3 weeks but realized it was interfering with my sleep (as soon as I stopped taking it, I didn't have any trouble sleeping). I called to get a refund (as it promises on their website). First I was told that I was one day past the 30-day refund period; the young man on the phone was SO SORRY but they couldn't change the policy. Then when I argued that it was in fact the 30th day, he said it had to be mailed back to them within the 30 days. When I said I didn't see anything on the website or in my order email about such a policy, he came back and told me they don't do refunds for opened bottles! Despite my asking him repeatedly to show me where on the website it mentions any of these pesky details, he was unable to pinpoint where, just kept saying it's on the website.

LoseTheBackPain customer service doesn't work on behalf of their customers

I went to their website and one of the inversion tables (the Teeter Hangups EP950) was listed for $299, and when I got to checkout I was being charged $399. I double, and even triple checked the price listed on the site and found that I was being overcharged by $100 (there was a less expensive Teeter hangups EP550 that was supposed to be listed at this price I later found out, but it was error on their website). So I called customer service and they told me to send an e-mail with a screen shot picture and I do that, and they say that they didn't get the e-mail. So now they tell me to go fax them a copy of the page, and so I go to my local library and print off the webpage and pay $3.80 to fax them a copy of the webpage (that has now been pulled up on two different computers) AND THEN THEY SAY THEY DIDN"T GET THE FAX! Well mysteriously the fax didn't go to the office I sent it to, it magically was rec'd at the bigger office they indicated... Weird... So the next day I get a call and the rep, Diany, asked me for the URL- which was so long the last 6 characters were left off of the page along the bottom- and at the time I was away from home so the next morning I called back, as they requested of me, to read them off the URL and just as I pulled up the screen on my computer the Customer Service Rep I was speaking with, think her name was Gabby, tells me that the site does not exsist... and I guess now since my e-mail, my fax, and the website does not exsist they would not honor my bunch of lies about the "phony website"! I talked to three girls there at the [protected] # by the names of Diany, Heather and lastly Gabby and I am very bothered by the way they handled me, I am an honest person and I was made out to be a liar. BEWARE OF THIS SITE, CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT WORK ON BEHALF OF THEIR CUSTOMERS, THEY HANDLE BUSINESS IN A WAY THAT ONLY BENEFITS THE COMPANY!

LoseTheBackPain their customer service representatives, including the supervisor, were very unresponsive

I accepted an offer for a free book from the Healthy Back Institute. I was asked to give my credit for shipping costs. I later found out that I had been charged $19.95 (3 months in a row) for their newsletter. I did not want there newsletter, and had not read it. It just came in the mail and I thought it was junk mail. When I asked to be refunded the charge, they said they had sent me an email (which I never read-thought it was spam). Because I didn't tell them I didn't want their newsletter, they sent it and I had to pay for it. They never did refund me my money. I feel they fraudulently used my credit card (charged it without my permission) and the online offer for a free book was only a method of getting my credit card number. Their customer service representatives, including the supervisor, were very unresponsive.

LoseTheBackPain poor customer service

I bought a Nubax ($300 plus $20 nonrefundable shipping) from HBI, which was defective. They sent replacement parts, which didn't work, and then sent a full replacement, which had the same defect. Since I couldn't assemble the product to try it out, I returned it for a product refund and requested a refund on shipping because I never received a useable product. (In addition to the original $20 shipping, I paid $50 to return the product.) I received no reply. It took several phone calls and e-mails to get any kind of response, and 5-plus months after I ordered the product, I have not gotten a simple yes or no to my refund request.
Contact with customer service is mainly by e-mail. The people who answer the phone have limited authority to do anything.
Anyone interested in a Nubax would do better ordering it from Amazon, where shipping and returns are free.

The Healthy Back Institute Nubax Trio refund update:

January 12, 2012: Having not heard back from The Healthy Back Institute after my January 9th phone call and email, I turned the matter of my refund over to the dispute department at PayPal. Note: The Paypal representative I spoke to on the phone asked for the UPS tracking number of the returned package, which I had recorded.
The PayPal intervention worked. The refund appeared in my PayPal account the next day, January 13th, 2012—six weeks after UPS delivered my Nubax Trio return-package to The Healthy Back Institute.

I applaud the prompt and professional customer service of PayPay.

I too am having trouble getting a refund from The Healthy Back Institute for the Nubax Trio I returned November 30th, 2011. Today is January 11, 2012. I paid 299.00 for the Nubax Trio and the return shipping cost me just shy of 70.00.
The Healthy Back Institute promises a "90 day, 100% NO risk money-back guarantee" on their website. This guarantee is the reason that I took the risk of purchasing a Nubax Trio, untried. The devise was uncomfortable on my neck and I returned it.
I am an extremely dissatisfied customer of The Healthy Back Institute who would just like to receive her promised refund.

Below is a timeline of my efforts to obtain a refund from The Healthy Back Institute.

Timeline:
November 2, 2011: Purchased a Nubax Trio from The Healthy Back Institute.
November 21, 2011: The Healthy Back Institute issued a Return Authorization Number at my request.
November 30, 2011: UPS tracking states that the Nubex return package was received.
December 7, 2011: Customer Service responded to my inquiry on the refund and said that the refund was processed on December 2, 2011 and would appear on my account in 7-10 working days.
December 20, 2011: Customer Service responded to an additional inquiry regarding the refund and said there was an issue with the original refund and that a customer service manager would expedite this refund asap.
January 2, 2012: I sent another email inquiring about my refund. Customer Service did not responded to this email.
January 9, 2012: I called Customer Service and they promised to email an inquiry the billing department. To document the contact, I followed up the phone call with an email to Customer Service. Customer Service responded (with poor spelling): "Your request (#3566) has been deemed solved.—Hi, Yes, you pay pal will be credited. One of the Customer Service Reps you have spoken with has sent an email to the main office to please check the status of your refund. As soon as she gets a replay she will sent you this information. Thank you for your patience.—Perla, Customer Loyalty Team"
January 11, 2012: The refund is yet to appear on my PayPal account. Although Customer Service said that the he Healthy Back Institute's main office has been contacted as to the status of my refund, I have heard nothing, as of yet, in regard to this status.

LoseTheBackPain I have been charged $19.95 every month without my authorization

I bought a book about a new technique for eliminating back pain. I charged the book on my credit card. I realized (3 months later) that I have been charged every month $19.95. When I called the company, they told me I checked the box for a free newsletter.

Which I am sure I did not check any box, as I never do as a matter of fact. The free newsletter being free only the first month, then they charge you a whopping $19.95/month automatically. That information they claim is there, but I know that I am extremely careful with these things, and I did not see that information anywhere (since I did not click for any options).

They said they would reimburse me for the current month, but not for the previous two. I insisted but they refused. This is clearly a scam. I never requested a newsletter, and certainly not at $19.95/month. They need to be stopped. And by the way, I never received any newsletter.

I think that losethebackpain.com is a scam. I sent for the free book knowing that I was automatically signed up for a 30-day trial subscription to their newsletter. I emailed the company after about 25 days via their website to cancel. I was unsure enough of their website method that I phoned their 800 number the next week and I was assured by the CSR that I had Indeed cancelled the subscription. Imagine my surprise when I received the March newsletter in the 2nd week of March. I emailed the company again and got a response the next day assuring me that my subscription was cancelled Feb. 21st and that I owed nothing. Imagine my surprise the next week when my credit card bill showed a $19.95 charge for the March subscription. I used the live chat feature on the website and was assured that the matter could be cleared up by customer service at the 800 number. "Heather", a CSR at the 800 number, stated that their records showed I cancelled on Feb. 21 via phone. I explained that I had cancelled a week before via their website, but "Heather" said I could not cancel on their website, that I could only cancel by phone. Needless to say, these crooks say I still owe $19.95. WHAT A SHAM. WHAT A BUNCH OF CROOKS. WHY CAN'T THESE EMAIL OFFERS BE LEGIT, HONEST?

LoseTheBackPain failed payments

Hi,

I wanted to buy 3 bottles of Heal N Soothe from the Healthy Back Institue. I previously purchased the LosetheBackpain program and Heal N Soothe as well. This time as I used another debit card my payments were declined as it did not match with the one they kept in their records. This is quite unusual and I wasn't happy about it but I added my debit card details anyway on the company's website. I tried to pay again but my payment was declined. I attempted to complete this 1 payment for USD 158.00 several times. It was declined each time. I have made several payments with the same card in severwal countries in Europe and the card is fine. I noticed that around EUR 450.00 is on hold on my account. Each time my payment failed the USD 158.00 was put on hold on my account. I asssume that is 4 payments. I spoke with my Bank, I also spoke with VISA and they confirmed that because the payments (which is actually 1 payment but they tried to apply it 4 times) never left my account only the reatiler The Healthy Back Institute can release this. I was in contact with 4 operator they all told me different things. They all wanted me to call them on a 1800 number which is only available in the USA. It never occured them to call me even after I requested them. One lady told me that she can release the 2 payments which are on hold. That is USD 158.00 multiplied with 2 which is USD 316.oo However that is about EUR 200.00 and my Bank confirmed that I have EUR 450.00 on hold for the Healthy Back Institue. I explained it to the operators but they did not even try to explain it to me. After the lady confirmed that she can release the payments which could take SEVEN ?! days. I received an email from a guy names Wes that they have absolutely nothing to do with it and I need to talk to VISA. VISA confirmed that as the payments have not left the account they cannot investigate this and they cannot do anything about it, only the retailer can release the payments. This has become a nightmare. I spent a lot of time and money on this. I can't use my EUR 450.00 and I cannot but the Heal N Soothe pills whic is a great product though. In my opinion the company should have realised that I tried to make 1 payment for a 100 Euro. There is no reason for them to hold 450.00 Euro on my account. They also should figure out the why their system cannot accept my debit card which is accepted everywhere else. They also need to improve their customer service as they are not helping me to buy their own product and they have not made any effort to rescue their relationship with their so called 'valued customer' I am utterly diappointed and angry.

Hi Laszlo,
I really do apologize that you are having problems with your order.
Your order was declined because the address that your credit card company has on file did not match the address that you entered on the order form. On the first couple of orders you placed with us you listed your state and zipcode as N/A - this matched what your credit card company had on file.

Now, the order in question that is declining had a number listed in the zipcode field and also a name in the state field. If your credit card company does not have the same for zipcode/state the order will unfortunately decline.

I will email you so we can get this order processed and get the hold on the money released.
Please look for my email with the subject: The Healthy Back Institute - Heal-n-Soothe.

Regards,

Eva Klein

LoseTheBackPain 'free' book scam with unauthorised credit card charges

I responded to an offer from Rob Poulos's Fat Burning Furnace newsletter by Zero to Hero Fitness.com for a 'FREE' copy of the book 'The 7-Day Back Pain Cure' by Jesse Cannone. I did not subscribe to the newsletter, in actual fact I unsubscribed to the 'Free Trial' newsletter several days before the 30 day trial period was up. As a result they have stoped sending the newsletter via email, but began sending it via post and charging my credit card accordingly without permission!

The first charge appeared on my credit card statement on 28/2/10 being for a transaction of US $11.95 (Aus 13.72) on 25/2/10 for the shipping of the 'FREE' book. The second charge was on 31/3/10 for US $24.95 (AUS 28.11), transaction on 27/3/10. Then there was another on 30/4/10 for US $24.95 (AUS 27.80), transaction on 27/4/10. There was also another at end of May. I will be going to bank tomorrow to fill in form to block any more payments! Additionally I would like them to refund the unauthorised payments on my credit card immediately.

I would have responded much quicker, however, I don't actually have a credit card and was using my mums card. I have received no receipts or invoices - tho I checked their website today and tried to sign in. I didn’t even know I had an account; there was no mention of this in any correspondence with them. Once my password was reset, I could see the invoices listing all the payments charged. I tried to remove the credit card details to no avail! I have only received 2 newsletters, but have been charged for 3 as well. Makes the 'FREE' book very expensive!

I have attached correspondence with the HEALTHY BACK INSTITUTE customer service department to the email I sent them which confirms when I unsubscribed. I did this via their email contact service as I live in Australia and it is not feasible for me to call their office.

If the unauthorised payments are not refunded I will look at taking further action.

Unauthorised payments REFUNDED! Confirmation has been received from my mother’s bank that all three unauthorised payments have been repaid. Additionally, confirmation has also been received from Eva at the Healthy Back Institute that my account has been inactivated and no further charges can be processed.

My advice to anyone in this situation is to be persistent. Continue emailing or contacting the company concerned until you receive your desired outcome. Posting comments on online complaints boards such as complaintsboard.com and in as many chat rooms as you can also generates results – companies don’t like negative postings.

Update by traker

After three days of emailing several contacts at the Healthy Back Institute I finally reached someone who was willing to assist me in obtaining a refund for the unauthorised payments charged for their newsletter. Additionally I have been correctly removed from their mailing list now (apparently).

They asked for confirmation as to how I had unsubscribed so they could ‘improve’ their customer service and prevent this kind of event from reoccurring.
I offered all the information I could to assist them in rectifying their system breakdown in the hope no one else would be unwittingly charged for something they didn’t want in the first place.
I am yet to receive confirmation of the refunded unauthorised payments on my (mothers) credit card.

I WILL, however gladly advise as soon as the confirmation is received.

Hi Traker,
Thanks for updating your posting.
I'm glad that you and I could come to a solution and that you are happy with it. As I mentioned to you opting out from receiving further emails from us does not stop billing and shipping of any monthly orders. In order to do that we need to be contacted to inactivate the membership that you have.

Again thank you for your updated posting!

LoseTheBackPain continuted billing

They offer a free book, just pay shipping. WATCH OUT. If you order it they charge the shipping charge and then start this 19.95 a month charge for a tiny newsletter. They saidIi agreed to that! The say they will cancel future charges but wont go back and refund their unauthorized billings they made. I went back to website www.losethebackpain.com refilled in an order and it didnt say anything about agreeing to this charge.

They also go by LIVE PAIN FREE, the title of newsletter and webiste is www.losethebackpain.com

CAREFUL...RUN! Just yet another scam.

Call Healthy back and tell them to stop your subscription NOW that should stop future billings...
Tell them you will dispute that first one with your bank...then do that...they usually wont refund it voluntarily
then post what they are doing again on this board...someone from their company does read it...good luck!

If I could give the no negative stars I would. Went for the online buy one get one free. I was signed up for automatic shipments which I did not approve. After taking 3 pills 3 times a day for a month as suggested, I was still in a lot of pain. I called and cancelled all future automatic shipments and was give authorization to return. At the Post Office I requested a tracking number, I had multiple shipments, but the teller did not give me the receipt. I waited to call and see if they had received my return and was told that without a tracking number they had no way to know if they had received the item back and they could not issue me credit. I tried back after a whole month had passed and was told the same. This is when I told them how they could get the merchandise back and not issue credit to the customer, this is a scam. After receiving no resolution, I called my credit card, reported the unauthorized charge and disputed it, I also asked that all future charges from Healthy Back Institute be blocked. My credit card company opened an investigation into this company and within 3 days I had my credit to my card. In my opinion this is a definite SCAM and I am warning people to check for negative reports before buying through this company.

Ordered this in January and after taking for a couple of days developed terrible itching so stopped taking. Went on line to see if others had issues and appears to be a scam to which I'm embarrassed. Called immediately and cancelled EVERYTHING!
This is where the scam starts. I said I wanted EVERYTHING cancelled, newsletter, heal & soothe, everything & was told it was. There would be no more taken from my acct.
Noticed today they debited my acct another $14.95, which they've been doing since January. Yes, $14.95 for paper not even product.
Customer service was as rude as expected when I asked for a refund for things cancelled. Said it was MY FAULT as I only cancelled the product not the newsletter. Told her she was mistaken as I was very clear about the word everything.
Seemingly trying to intimidate, doesn't work with me, said all calls are recorded and she could pull it up. Said go right ahead as I know exactly what was said.
This is a big scam just to get your CC # to debit every month. Called my bank and the only way to stop these is to change your card.

I live in Brisbane, Australia and wanted to try these tablets once. I only had one week before I was billed for my second lot, which I understood wouldn't be sent for 1 month. I hardly had time to see if they worked. I tried to ring, email them many times but they never got back to me. Its very expensive for shipping for me as I live in Australia. I cannot afford to keep on having the money taken out and I will have to cancel my credit card because they will not speak or email me. I definitely do not want anything to do with this company ever again and will tell all my friends and let my expeHaleyrience go onto facebook where it will be seen by many.

I fell for the website's strong recommendation, that you order a 3-pack of Super Joint Support. I used the product faithfully according to the instructions but didn't notice any improvement in my knee joint pain.
The company is adamant that they are committed to "helping you feel better than ever before" and that's why the [product comes with "the assurance of of a 90-day Money Back Guarantee"!
However, when I contacted the Customer Support to request a refund, I was told that only the UN-OPENED bottles would be refunded. When I asked how on earth a customer would know that the product works or not if the can't open and use it, I was told that "the company doesn't really recommend that a new customer order more than 1 bottle - which would be refunded if it didn't work! That sure isn't the case on their website.
This is a case of clear misrepresentation = scam!

I faced the same problem as the ones listed above. In July this year I ordered Arthritis Reversed for $9 and paid shipping charges for a free CD set and a free trial membership for a month. They have agreed to cancel future subscriptions but there is no mention of refunding the total amount of $39.90 charged thus far.I think it is my right to get this amt refunded. I live in India and every dollar counts for us. I had even written saying I cant afford this amount being deducted as it works out to more than Rs 1300 a month. I hope somebody in this fradulent company will see this and refund the same

I have been using Heal n Soothe herbal pills and rub on cream for a while now, and I cannot speak highly enough for these products. I suffered from chronic back pain and migraines and despite many treatment attempts and spending huge amounts at chiropractors and prescription drugs, the only product that REALLY WORKED for me was Heal n Soothe. I take just to pills every morning and use the cream as back up now and again if a local topical pain appears - it works nearly immediately for local pain relief. It is the pills that work on an ongoing basis, but you have to maintain the treatment daily. I need to say that most of those negative reviews of this company are written by people who did not understand or carefully read what they were ordering. Sure there are many offers that pop up in most online sales but READ THE TEXT fully to understand what you are clicking!
I avoid any auto ship options as this can cause complications if you forget to cancel or modify your order. Simply just ORDER WHEN YOU NEED IT.
The offer of free book was genuine, and carries only a freight charge. If you get charged duties by your local Government that is also described in the website and you should have been aware that this may happen. The book was very helpful and of course it contains prods to order products after all there has to be some financial incentive to publish a book and offer it for free. Would you publish a book and send it out for free without expecting some compensation?
Sorry for the long winded reply just thought this company needed some positive feedback and a reality check on the unfair negative comments. I am in no way connected to the Lose the Back Pain company nor have consulted them about this reply.

LoseTheBackPain illegal recurrent monthly charges on my credit card for a fake newsletter I never signed up for

I bought a book about a new technique for eliminating backpain. I charged the book on my credit card. I realized (3 months later) that I have been charged everymonth $19.95. When I called the company, they told me I checked the box for a "free" newsletter -- which I am sure I did not check any box, as I never do as a matter of fact -- the free newsletter being "free" only the first month, then they charge you a whopping $19.95/month automatically. That information they claim is there, but I know that I am extremely careful with these things, and I did not see that information anywhere (since I did not click for any options). They said they would reimburse me for the current month, but not for the previous two. I insisted but they refused. This is clearly a SCAM. I never requested a newsletter, and certainly not at $19.95/month! They need to be stopped. And by the way, I NEVER received any newsletter!

LoseTheBackPain bad products

I felt my lower back was going to twist off, and I would break in half, it hurt so much after sleeping on memory foam for 6 months. I was allowed to exchange it for a latex and poly foam bed, it is no better, I now ache in my shoulders, hips, sides, front and back. Ugh! They will not take it back, it was three days when I became aware and made them aware of the problems. They took over $3300.00 of my money, I cannot sleep, I feel cheated! I am angry!
