I ordered a Workbench from this company that arrived last week damaged, in poor shape and missing parts. The company's response is that it will now take 6-8 weeks to send replacement parts. Apparently, doing some research, I find that it is this company's common practice to ship repackaged customer returns as new products
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Harbor Freight Tools - catalog bombardment
Harbor Freight Tools is a big tool and related items company. If you place an order with them, even online, you will be bombarded with catalogs and junk mail as a result. They mail out at least one catalog EACH WEEK, sometimes two. It really piles up, and it's very difficult to get them to remove you from their mailing list. It's just not worth it.
Not all the tools are all that great. So look at the quality of them before you buy. They are cheap and some will only last a few uses. Some of their tools will last a long time if they are the type that dont have moving parts. A hammer for example.
