Horrible company
I am so tired of this garbage company I moved in the city of Aurora 4yrs ago we have no other options but groot these drivers decides they only want to empty one of my garbages this has been several times I pay for a service and I expect to get it! The driver is a liar I take photos of my garbages every week due to this driver I’ve complained in the past about this driver several times I live in a association they continue to let garbage fly all over my yard as well! I can get fined for that groot doesn’t care because they know we have no other options in Aurora, IL I’ve included a photo of my garbage that wasn’t emptied on yesterday 4/8 now let’s see what lie the driver will come up with this time and I’m going to complain to the alderman office I’m sick of groot!
Recommendation: Don’t buy a house in a area that groot services!

I paid my bill, because I paid with electronic check, processing on groots finance side takes several days causing my payed to be marked as late. Because of this, my trash was not picked up even though money was pulled from my account. By all US laws, not performing a service that has been paid for is theft. I called the customer service department and attempted to give them a chance to solve this within thier system, but refused to assist.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
We're sorry to hear that there was dissatisfaction with our service, however, we believe we did everything in our power to provide a service that has been paid for. Please refer to our Customer Service Representative's notes on the account for the call with Mr.:
"TRAVIS (HUSBAND) CALLED IN BECAUSE THEY DID NOT RECEIVE SERVICE TODAY, ADVISED HIM IT IS BECAUSE OF THE PAST DUE BAL OF $88.89 & WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED A PAYMENT ON THIS ACCT SINCE 12/31/19. HE STATED THAT THEY MADE A CC PAYMENT THROUGH THEIR BANK LAST WEEK, ADVISED HIM IT WAS MADE VIA CHK & THAT IT TAKES LONGER FOR CHK PAYMENTS TO PROCESS, & THAT THE PAYMENT WAS JUST RECEIVED ON YESTERDAY (HE WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO FINISH HE KEPT INTERRUPTING). HE STATED THAT IF HE DOES NOT GET A P/U TOMORROW HE WILL BE CONTACTING THE BBB, THE CITY OF AURORA, & A LONG TIME FAMILY FRIEND OF 30 YEARS WHOM IS A LAWYER, & HE HUNG UP".
This customer paid $88.89 on July 2nd so it did not post to his account until after the routes sheets were run. The payment that he made paid for his service through June. He has not been billed for July. He did receive all services before payment was made. This being said, his account is now active and regular weekly service will resume. It is imperative that payments are made well before the 60 day window since the date of the invoice to ensure that the account does not hit suspend status. He did receive a courtesy call on 6/17 telling him he was past due 45 days and about to go on suspend. Service was provided to the full extent of what was paid for.

I am up to date on our payments and our agreement said that we get unlimited garbage pickup, but on 1/19 they came by and did not pick up

When i called on 1/20 they said i had construction debris and could not pick that up. I said i had insulation from our home in there. they said that is construction. I told her that is ridiculous they did before. she said a supervisor will call me. They didnt. on 1/26 i called again they said it was to snowy and delayed would pick up later or tomorrow. On 1/27 i called again three times they said first i was on the schedule the second too. the third they said they would pick it up next week. I said no way. It is overflowing and it needs to be picked up today. They said to much snow. I told them there has never been snow, it was plowed at 5am on 1/26. they said maybe tomorrow. This is getting trash all over the street from them leaving this here. I want our trash picked up every week and a refund for the weeks we have not had service. I want 14.50 back and from now on i am not paying the bill if i miss anymore trash pick up.
