Green Chef review: Worst customer service experience with green chef

We had a very satisfied experience with Green Chef (GC) for 4 years until now. GC encourages customers to send a box to friends and family, which we have over the years. This month we sent a one time box to a friend and GC set an account up for this friend using our debit card without our authorization. My husband noticed weekly unauthorized charges on our bank account. We have contacted CF customer service three times and was basically told they could not cancel the account they created by mistake. We told them this was fraud because we never authorized this. We cancelled our account with them after 4 years and we will need to go to the bank to cancel our debit card on file and dispute the charges. We are shocked that a loyal customer was treated this way!
