This company will not acknowledge the fact that I have cancelled my membership with them. They have debited my account $80.75 when I have already cancelled with them. They are saying I need a RMA# to ship product back to warehouse or it will be refused. I have tried calling 2 different #'s & they will not return my call so that I can obtain that # & ship my product back. How can we stop these companies who don't produce what they say they will? If I not satisfied with a product I should be able to return it without having to jump through hoops. Buyer beware~If you see GREEN TEA PURITY pop up on your screen for a risk free trial only $5.95 beware! I ends up costing you a whole lot more.

Here I am telling the same story as all the others. This cant be right. They have hit my account 3 times now. I will be contacting my bank tomorrow. All my reply emails have fallen on deaf ears at their end. They have taken about $300 unauthorised from my account.I feel like an idiot, trust is the issue here. With the advertising they do I did trust them. I must be gullible. It wont happen again. I only just thought of looking on this site. Thanks for all the other comments. At least I know Im not the only one. How do we stop them though! Would consumer affairs get involved? I might try.

Deb.

Hi guys, yep same here, how could we all be so silly haha.. well you live and learn.. these guys are crafty devils.. what gets me why is there no antifraud agencies to stop them.. how many of these blogs to we need for people to take notice.. surely the people who make so much money from the internet should fund some anti fraud squad...

Funny thing was once I started my dispute with the bank they all of a sudden replied to my queries, saying they would refund all my money straigt away.. trying to cover their punny chinese butts.. the next day they said my order had been shipped hahah... what drugs are these guys on. Then they quickly sent me a bottle express post sign on delivery.. just the proof they need I guess.. its still sitting in the PO by the way.

Who knows what is n their little pills.. proabaly sugar.. we should all flood their many email boxes all together.. than again that Denal of Service and a federal offence. Nope jsut keep filling these Blogs and hopefully people will Google before they buy!

I too am one of the unlucky ones to have been scammed by these charlatans. How do they sleep at night? I was stupid enough to not just get this product but also the power colon cleanse pills. I'm under the impression that both products come from the same place. If that is NOT the case can someone please tell me as I will be returning both lots of pills together on monday.
For those that missed the return address its

I really hope this helps people. I have to say although I am worried sick as I personally haven't heard anything to say I will get any of my money back this site has brought a ray of hope. So thank you everyone who has taken the time to write here.

Same for me too.
Today I recieved an e-mail from the company saying I will be billed $79.95 because they hadnt recieved an e-mail from to cancel the order 15 days after the order date, even though I hadnt even recieved my product by then!
I've emailed the company twice today, but after reading all the above complaints I am just going to cancel my card.
I never read the t + c's but after this I always will!
An expensive lesson.

Exactly the same thing happened to me. My girlfriend wanted the "free" trial (is that supposed to be ironic) and she needed my visa to pay for it. the $6 or so has been taken out of my account but having read all this I called my bank and said Id lost the card so its been cancelled and now Ive got to wait a few days for my new one. A small price to pay I suppose, especially compared to the $80 they were going to take out! what have I learnt? - Don't let my girlfriend but anything with my card! and on a serious note...read the T and C's VERY carefully.

SCAM SCAM SCAM and get this its not even US based this crooked crap is from China. I asked for an RMA and they told me to ship it local post or FedEx to some location in China and then they will refund the money minus shipping and a 20% restock fee.

I wouldn't be surprised that these are the same people that are running Vital Rez V.

They charge the sam amount for the "trial bottle" along with the same shipping charges, they have the same method of operation, the goods are shipped from CHINA and even one person "KIM SUTHERLAND" is one of the Customer Support people for Vital Rez V.

Isn't there any way of some one out there to track these people down...not only are they SCAM EXPERTS they are ### as well...we need Government intervention and protection from these THEIVES.
They should be charged and arrested like all the other crooks !

Same thing happened to me. I already placed an order online then an hour later, I read all the complaints about this company. I immediately rang the customer service and cancelled the order before they ship the product. I was so worried about this scam because I used my debit card. Although the customer service said it's cancelled and it's going to be fine, I did not trust them. I went to the bank the following day and I CANCELLED MY CURRENT ACCOUNT AND OPEN A NEW ACCOUNT. I was relieved. Then 2 days later, I received an email saying that the item has been shipped and it said expect the item within 8 to 10 working days. How stupid is this company! I emailed them 10 times about the order but i never got a reply. I rang them again and they said it was not possible to cancel the order because the money has been verified alredy by the bank. ANother email was sent saying 79 dollars will be bedited from my account once my trial period is over. BUT GUESS WHAT? MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN CLOSED AND THEY ARE TRYING TO TAKE OUT THE MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT. THEY CAN GO TO HELL! hahaha! Now they bombard me emails to send another card for billing because my card was declined. Today i received the item. I am not stupid to provide them another card..hahaha

UPDATE:
I recieved this email yesterday (27/05/09) in response to my request to cancel the trial minutes after I joined up. I have sent an email via return as instructed, asking for the RMA number. So far... no response!

I have taken the precaution of cancelling my card anyway, all I will have lost is the shipping charge. Serves me right for being so dozy really!

"Hi,

Thank you for your email.

As part of our policy, a cancellation of the original purchase can only occur after you have received the order, and sampled the actual product itself. This is the entire purpose of the trial order.

As such, should you wish to cancel your order beyond the first sample, please email us when you have received your order, and do state the reason then that you are not satisfied with the product.

If you are satisfied with the product received, please do nothing, and we will only charge you for the bottle received in a few days thereafter.

If you have however changed your mind about your order, then the original package of 30 capsules must then be sent back in its unopened form (since we are assuming you are changing your mind about the entire order given that you are contacting us prior to receiving the shipment).

To do so, please simply advise us via return email that you wish to return the package, and we can provide you with a RMA# and address, and once you give us the tracking number for the return package, we can cancel your order accordingly.

Thank you for understanding our try first, pay later trial policy (which is not meant for abuse of the ‘trial’, which I am sure you can understand many unscrupulous customers attempt to do).

We trust that you will indeed be delighted with the product and will choose to keep it, in which case you will be billed only for the item received.

We will however cancel ALL future bills after that, so only the original package of 30 pills will be charged to your card.

If you should have any further questions, please also feel free to let me know.

Best regards,

Kim Sanderland

Customer Support"

I hope that for me this wil be the end of it, I don't expect to recieve an RMA number or the packages to be honest, but I consider it a lesson well learnt! Again, I will let you all know if I recieve further correspondence from them.

Good Luck to you all!

I too was duped into this so called 'free' product and realized what I'd signed myself up for minutes later. I contacted my credit card company straight away although they were not very helpful at all. Advised by them to keep a log of all emails to the company (sent 7 so far with no response) All ive had so far is an email saying the tea has been shipped and to expect it within 8-1o days by which time the trial period will be up and i expect i will be billed for it. SCAM SCAM SCAM! but more fool me, BEWARE and always READ THE SMALL PRINT FIRST!

Unfortunately, I signed up for the trial about 15 minutes ago, then found this. I have sent an email straight away to cancel my 'membership' before I have even recieved my free trial. I signed up for both the Green Tea Purity AND the Power Colon Cleanse. That's going to cost me around £110 a month - money I can't afford to spend on diet pills at the moment! Might just report my card lost to the bank...I'll let you all know how I get on.

All of the charges are stated in the Terms and Conditions of Green Tea Purity. You have to agree to then before you can complete the transaction. I am not arguing your above complaints, as I have been victim to this same situation from a different company. They get you to overlook the cost and how to cancel your contract by spelling out the amount, "you will be charged eight-five dollars and nintey cents" rather than $85.90 which is easy to see scrolling through the text. Please everyone out there, read the T&C's VERY Carefully before purchasing anything via credit card, especially these "free trials". These companies are protected, when you place the order, you are giving them your authorization to charge your card every month.

Same thing happened to me. I immediately called my visa and had the number cancelled. I then filled out the necessary documentation for a "dispute".

They actually charged me TWICE ($79.95) on the same day.

They have temporarily credited my account back the charges and are making further inquiries into the company.

Visa indicated they have many complaints to this company. It is a TOTAL scam.

Good luck to everyone!

Cancel your credit card #'s immediately and save all documentation (emails etc.).

Had the same problem, lodged a dispute. Doubt I'll get the $117 back. Had to cancel the credit card. The product itself is a scam. It has no ingredient list, the label on the bottle was actually upside down, not to mention heaps of cotton being stuffed inside the bottle.

Here's how they operate:

1) Charged you a small sum for the initial free trial. Not knowing that you've actually signed up as a member which requires you to purchase the same ### every month.
2) Charge your credit card $117 the next month.
3) Only after a week later they send you an email stating that they've charged you $117 for it. By that time it's too late to reverse the transaction.

And as expected, they do not pickup your calls/emails. But they do have the sender's address and name (From China apparently). Will investigate that further.

I am having the same problem with this company.. I have emailed them a handful of times to deactivate this subscription to have no reply only for them to keep debiting my account of $117.00 each month. What do you have to do to stop them sending this crap and making me out of pocket now $240.00 all for some free trial. They are not contactable any other way than email, and that obviously doesn't work...
If your thinking Green Tea Purity DONT!

We appreciate forums such as Complaints Board that allow for customers of all products to vent or state their beliefs concerning a given product. We look at it as a great opportunity for us to share our vision and see it only as a positive. We understand your issue and acknowledge there have been others who have shared your same frustration. We recognize we are not perfect, but we are always seeking perfection.

We would like to take a moment and outline our whole marketing concept and emphasize it is very clearly outlined in our Terms and Conditions and made readily available and we actually require persons to verify it has been read BEFORE one chooses to take our sample. We offer Green Tea a tremendously healthy product, in a trial size, at a greatly reduced price, in order to allow more people an opportunity to try our healthy product that would otherwise never had had the chance. In doing so, our intent is that when an individual tries our sample, they can make a decision as to whether or not they would like to continue to receive the product on a monthly basis. If they like the product, they do nothing and the product continues to come each month. If they choose they no longer want the product, no problem, all they have to do is go to the web address on the bottle (www.gohelpnow.com) and simply cancel the product. This usually takes less than 5 minutes.

We strive to do everything possible to make the product cancellation experience as easy and fast as possible for our customers. In the spirit of good customer relations, we have created a specific avenue for all who wish to give their feedback directly to us by visiting our Customer Support website and clicking on the "We Want to Hear From You" button. We hope this helps to clarify any misconceptions and invite any and all to visit our Customer Support website (www.gohelpnow.com), available 24/7/365 a week, for more information.
