I purchased two weekend tickets for V festival. After a week or so I received a phone call from "global ticket market" from a unknown number asking for a over the phone bank transfer to speed the process along. Obviously I declined. Since I have emailed and called the addresses given with no response, And guess what..NO TICKETS

The one transaction I've had with Global Ticket Market was in May this year when I purchased a ticket for Wembley play off final at Wembley between West Ham and Blackpool. The price was about going rate, however I did not make online payment but met member of staff in West End and did cash deal. I intend doing the same with a couple of low price Olympic tickets to gauge the response.

Hello there. I bought mt ghost Ticket from Global Ticket Master at £1394.04 and Never received my Ticket for the Final in Munich.I have been told Lie after Lie from this organisation.I have since tried to get in touch with them via e-mail and phone and neither work.I know I am not alone in this mess But I can't get any help in getting my money back. I sent an e-mail to watchdog but as yet there is no reply.Does the http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx work and is it worth me sending an e-mail to them.My e-mail address is phil.ball@bt.com if you want to get in touch.

GTM are a scam - they did the same thing to a group of us last year!
Dont give up, my advice is to make police complaints, detailing names, dates numbers etc
If everyone who has been affected complains then the police are forced to act!

Just come across this site. Add me to list of people owed money (£5K in my case) by GTM. Happy to get on board with you to track down and get these ###. Taylor White of Bromley also got my tix. First of all tix returned as address was incomplete. Said to be Flat 3 College Road. No number of house given. Got onto GTM who confirmed house number as 15. Told them to get purchaser to contact me and I would arrange handover. Should have smelled a rat then but didnt ! Tickets sent off and I told GTM of tracking number. They later confirmed purchaser had confirmed he had them. Still waiting for payment. No surprises there then. Advise me on next step.

Ticketing fraud arrest
City of London Police detectives investigating allegations of an online ticketing fraud against thousands of people across the UK have today arrested a 41-year-old man and searched premises.

The police operation was in connection to an abundance of complaints made by customers over the past fortnight stating they had bought but never received the tickets for various concerts, including the Take That Progress tour. Detectives launched an investigation earlier this week after being passed hundreds of fraud reports made to Action Fraud and analysed by the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau.

Enquiries continue and as of Friday afternoon the man remained in custody.

If you think you have been a victim of this fraud the quickest and easiest way to record the crime is to report to http://www.actionfraud.org.uk/report_fraud. Making a crime report using this tool will provide you with a Crime Reference Number and your report will be passed on to the NFIB.

Hi All,
How are we getting on with things? Has anybody received payment yet? Has anybody managed to speak to GTM this week? I tried yesterday and both numbers were down - I think our chances maybe slipping away. Denver79 - how are you getting on with pursuing things from your end? I'm in the north so it's diffcult for me to report to a London station.
Keep chin up guys, we need to keep pursuing this.

Ive tried posting this three times now... i hope this one works!

I dont know if my last comment posted or not as it asked me to sign in so let me re-write it now...

I also have been conned by this company, sent my tickets to a Michael Paramiavian of 84a Portland Road, Norwood Juntion, London.
I left a note with my tickets asking for him to call me...he did and i have the number...Can the police trace this number? or is there any way (legally or illegally) that i can. I would really like to confront these scam artists!
Can people please forward on their crime reference numbers and which police station it has been reported to, to liam_martin2003 at hotmail.com.

Hi,

We have discussed what we all need to do, 1.> Police Report 2.> Action Fruad Report 3.> SFO Report

If you have completed these and would like to chase GTM jointly pls e-mail me privately. My investigating officer will need to verify each report to make sure we are all chasing GTM for the same offence. When you e-mail send me each refference number along with the police station you reported it at, along with some contact details.

Cheers

It was happening to me, just yesterday. A guy named Ramsey Barnaby his email ramsey.barnaby@yahoo.com. He sent me email, txt and called me everyday and soon show his passion by sending gift. This what he wrote: Wed, 1 June 2011

Hello darling i, m back home, i have already send th parcel and your daughter gift.darling there is money i enclose in a red wallet 4000GBP.i will use it to rent car when i come to Germany honey.there are some flower verse and some jewelries and your daughters gift.
darling i can't get cheap phone in the shop so i bought blackberry bold 2. is nice you gonna like it, i bought one for you and one for your daughter.but is a present for her birthday don't tell her till you surprise her with it.
darling i will rest now, tell me when you come online.
meanwhile the freighting company gave me the tracking number for the package. i will give you so that you track it always till it arrive to Germany.

send me text once your online . love you my wife.

Ramsey
Ladies! he didn't get anything from me, but a ###! Ladies and ladies, we have to be careful. Be logical and pragmatist. We should know that enclosing money in the parcel is strictly not allowed. (this is a vivid clue already) Just don't believe the guy right away when he tells you, ''I LOVE YOU!'' To see is to believe. A door to door delivery is ''remise contre récépissé'' delivery upon acknowledgment of receipt. Now we are wise that we do not pay when the item is not delivered to you. Delivery charge or toll charge would not be that expensive. If delivered, open it first before giving the money, to examine damage.
I was so reluctant to send €980.00. This is bigger than my monthly salary. I can't pay for nothing! So I decided to search his name in google and found this website. Thank you! This bank of crooks, I know will make their victims fall in love with them head over heel. They pretend to be very nice, romantic, like the only Romeo in Italy. To all women in the world, I am very sorry of what had happened. Thank you for sharing the sad and bad experience.

Hi Guys i think that we have been infiltrated by the scammers those who have sensitive info and want to beat the ### may i suggest you channel you info privately to Denver79 first.
If you are all fair you will accept that he is doing most of the hard work at present therefore i am happy that he takes the lead on this and hope you too are.

Just cannot believe this. Nobody is answering the phone now. Those thieving ###, I'm sure there mothers would be so proad of them. I'm a great believer in what goes around comes around, so hopefully they will all suffer for this. I will be first in the viewing gallery if we manage to get them in court. Everyone keep in touch. I'm reporting the case to the serious fraud squad. I'm also posted a claim with the Post Office as the person who signed for my letter is clearly not the person it was meant for.

I've just spoken to the serious fraud office and in order for our case to be looked at by them EVERYONE needs to log their complaint on http://www.actionfraud.org.uk/ The serious fraud office will be contacted by action fraud if there is a big scale of people logging complaints, if only afew of us are doing it then it will never be investigated by the big guys... you can do it by phone or online, it does not take long when you compare it to the justice that would be made if enough of you do it so please contact action fraud now.
