Global Auto Auctions Stop! Do not wire them money. You will lose it all.

STOP! Do not proceed with this company. DO NOT WIRE THEM A SINGLE CENT! You will lose your money. I may be looking into legal action against GAA (if any past victims of GAA sees this review please contact me at [protected]@yahoo.com) i will be trying to communicate with you aswell.

This company was a reputable company at some point. I was recommended to them by a buddy that bought his car with them maybe a year ago.

I deposited 1200 (600+600) into my account and made a bid on an atv. A short while later i get a call from jerry the "manager" (seems to be a one man show) asking my max bid and telling me to sign papers for the bike and WIRE him the money. This of course sounded extremely scammy but i called my buddy whom had previously purchased a vehicle and received it, he said it was ok. So i proceeded.

Everything quiet and then i get a call from jerry, theres somthing wrong with my bike. It is not running and was listed as running. He also states theres damage to the bike.
I ask him to send me pictures or a video (the video on crashedtoys.com shows no damage and is listed as running) he asks me if i want to look for another or get a refund. I text him (please see pics) to send the bike anyways (its an auction and thats what an auction is, you never know what youre going to get).
He basically says no and i will be getting a tracking info for my refund check soon. I call the auction house that sold the bike and explain to them the situation, they verify that that bike was never sold to GAA nor a Jerry. Same afternoon i get a fedex notification that a package from global auto is coming. When i receive it, its a check for about 2800 of the 4100 i wired and has a paper that says i early terminated ( even though i accepted my bike).

It is what it is ill take the hit, check is deposited. The very next day the check BOUNCED! Insufficient funds. Now jerry doesnt answer my calls or texts. 4200 wont make or break me but the principal of this whole ordeal will. Now i have to waste my time with authorities, auction houses, and hopefully short of a visit to GAA in person.

DO NOT SEND JERRY A DIME OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY!

I bought Equinox on Monday September 18 2023. I deposited $1600 and bought suv. Once he call me to deposit $11500 thru bank. During this period some one told me that they are scam and you will loose all money. I had delayed to deposit and finely i did deposit the fund. I was really worried but suv came on time and it is exactly what Global Auto Auction told me.

I am happy with them and they are not a scammer.

Recommendation: I would buy another car from them,

Global Auto Auctions Global auto auction and eaa brokers inc

On 11/12/2024 I was told I won an auction for Motorhome (inventory # C*******) and funded my account $1260 to cover the deposit that was required.
I was asked to wire $15,740.00 to EAA Bokers Inc. the following day (11/12/2024) before noon, which I did. Later that day, someone named Jerry, told me in writing to "allow 5-7 business days for the release, but rest assured we will expedite the process".
After several inquiries over the next 10 days, I received short responses (all in writing) or no response at all. When I finally talked to Jerry again, he said that they were going to move my motorhome, but it wouldn't start. I told him that I still wanted it, and I knew that I was buying a salvaged vehicle. He said that he was going to have a technician do a "inspection" of the vehicle on Monday 11/25/2024, and he would let me know what was found. I didn't hear from him the day the technician was supposed to Inspect the vehicle, but he messaged me on the following day (11/26/2024) to tell me he would call me that afternoon. I didnt hear back from him, so I messaged him again at 2:00pm EST and again at 5:59pm EST. He finally messaged me back at 5:50pm EST. The following is an exact word for word copy of his message:
Jerry - "Adam there is really an issue with the engine of the car, so the seller will have to remove this from our account or else there will be legal consequences against them since this vehicle is not as described. If u want I can process the refund today or we can work on a comparable replacement? Something thats ready for release as soon as possible."
I responded - "I want the vehicle that I paid for. Was the inspection performed on Monday? What were the findings?
Jerry responded - "The insurance company remove this lot from our seller account. Pls let me know how u would like to proceed pls and how i can make things better for u. I really do apologize."
I responded - "Can I go check the RV myself? As I said, I am a mechanic and I would like to see what the issue is before anything else. I can be there tomorrow."
No further response from him that day.
The following day (11/26/2024)
I messaged - "The paperwork clearly says that they do not guarantee the vehicle will run and drive when I take possession. I will sign whatever I need to sign to relieve any legal concerns. I have a Copart membership, so they should let me on the lot to pick it up. I just need to know that the paperwork has been completed, and that the release has been processed."
No response till the following day (11/27/2024)
Message from Jerry - "I will be processing the refund today, the motorhome was removed from our account"
I responded - "Where will you be depositing my funds?"
Jerry responded - "for refunds we will request it from the broker then we will send a refund check and have it overnighted to you. I will request for it to be wired back to the same bank that u sent the payment"
"Refund is 7-10 business days but I promise i will expedite the process and wont let you wait that long. I really do apologize for all the delays"
I responded - "I will need to see a wire transfer recipe today by noon, as you asked of me the day of the sale. I will be contacting Copart and Exotic Auto Auction Brokers today as well."
Later that day (11/27/2024) after contacting Copart where the vehicle had been.
I messaged - "I know now that the story about the engine problems was a lie, and the vehicle was picked up from the lot on November 15th. When will I be receiving my refund?"
Jerry responded - "This is the tracking number for the refund check via FedEx **************. You should be able to track this later this afternoon or tomorrow morning"
I received the check on 12/3/2024 and messaged Jerry immediately.
I messaged - "I was charged a "Early Termination Fee" of $5100, and only received $10,640.00. This is completely unacceptable! When will I receive the balance of my refund?"
Jerry asked me to send him a photocopy via text message, which I did right away.
Then Jerry responded - "Ill get back to you. Let me talk to our refunds department"
I responded - "Thank you"
Jerry responded - "I am working on getting u a full refund pls bare with as this will take me a few days ok. Just dont do anything on the check"
I responded - "Please understand, I am on a strict timeline. I need to have a vehicle prior to the upcoming holiday. Without my money, I am unable to fulfill that commitment. I know that if I deposit this check, I would be agreeing to the fees. I appreciate your advice on that. I wouldn't be able to deposit it even if I wanted to though. The check is post dated till 12/5/2024"
12/5/2024 - I messaged Jerry - "Any updates Jerry. I am in desperate need of my funds! Please let me know the status!"
No response
12/9/2024 - I messaged Jerry - Please update me on the status of my refund"
No response
I also followed the refund procedure to the letter, and sent a certified letter via USPS to the address on the website. Two weeks later, it still has not been delivered or picked up at the post office. The first attempt to deliver it was 12/14/2024.

12/26/2024 - I messaged Jerry - "Jerry, I still haven't heard from anyone. I have not deposited the check as you instructed me not to. I need my money immediately!"

Still no response from anyone. Next step is to contact a lawyer
