Gateway Toyota is not good
Gateway Toyota is not good. I needed to refinance my car from them. I called and emailed many times for 2 weeks before they finally got back to me. They didn't give me all the information. You should ask about hidden stuff. They don't care about you once they have your money.

I went to Gateway Toyota to buy a Venza Toyota
I went to Gateway Toyota to buy a Venza Toyota. I made a request through Autotrader and they called me the next day. They seemed happy to sell me a car. However, when they found out I was from BC, they said they couldn't sell to me because they only sell to Albertan residents due to high demand. I'm a Canadian and a resident of Canada, so this was a big insult not just to me, but to Canada.
Dealership sold me car with wrong size tires
Dealership sold me car with wrong size tires. Found out when I got winter tires swapped. Mechanic said car not safe to drive cuz ABS won't work right. Wondered how car passed safety inspection. Tried to get dealership to change tires and give me safety report but they didn't answer. Had to complain.
I just bought a car from Gateway Toyota and traded in my old one
I just bought a car from Gateway Toyota and traded in my old one. They said they would pay off my old lease and give me a cheque for my last payment. I got my new car on Sept 16 and they said they would let me know when the cheque was ready. But almost a week later, I had to call the sales manager, , because I hadn't heard anything. He said they used my cheque to pay off my last payment from Sept 1 to Sept 15 because I had changed my payment to bi-weekly. But I never did that! I asked him to fix it and he said he would call Toyota Canada and call me back that day. But it's been almost a week and I haven't heard anything. I've left messages and emails but no one will get back to me. I'm so frustrated! I went to the dealership on Aug 23 and got my Rav4 on Sept 16.
