Gardener's Supply Company Terrible Experience with Gardener's Supply Company: Delayed Shipping, Poor Customer Service, and Refund Hassle

I ordered some tomato cages from Gardener's Supply Company on May 15. Finally, on May 28, I got an email saying that a FedEx label was made and ready to ship, and it would arrive on June 2. But when I checked the tracking number on June 1, it showed that my package hadn't even budged. So, I called up GS customer service and they told me to just chill and wait a few more days because FedEx wasn't showing the tracking info. I wasn't convinced, so I decided to call FedEx myself. Turns out, they hadn't even received the package! Can you believe it? It's already June 4 and still no sign of my package.

I called Gardeners Supply customer service again and told them that FedEx confirmed they didn't have my package. And you know what they said? They blamed it on their warehouse, saying they had issues, staff shortage, and even illness. Seriously? That's not my problem! I asked for a refund, but they had the nerve to say they would charge me a fee. Can you believe the audacity? I was then transferred to another person who straight up told me I couldn't get a refund at all. Can you imagine the frustration?

But I wasn't about to let them get away with it. I threatened to call my bank and file a complaint, and suddenly they changed their tune. Finally, after going through all that hassle, they refunded my money. But let me tell you, I will never, ever order anything from this company again. If they can't handle filling orders, then they shouldn't be taking them in the first place. And you know what's even worse? They don't even mention anything about shipping delays on their website. That's just a poor way to do business, if you ask me.

Gardener's Supply Company Lack of Communication and Delayed Shipping - A Frustrating Experience with this Company

I gotta say, I really need to get my voice heard by this company, 'cause they got a whole lotta my hard-earned cash and my professional rep is on the line here.

So, I went ahead and ordered this raised bed planter and a whopping 16 bags of soil for my client on May 4th. They told me the planter would ship out on May 7th, which seemed pretty reasonable to me.

But guess what? About 10 days later, I get this email from 'em sayin' that the planter won't be shipped until mid June now. That's like, what, 6 whole weeks later? They had the nerve to tell me to contact 'em if this was gonna be a problem. Well, I did just that, and let me tell ya, they haven't bothered to respond at all.

Now, all I'm left with is a big ol' pile of expensive bagged wicking bed soil, and without the right planter, it's just sittin' there useless. And to make matters worse, I got a deadline comin' up real soon for the installation.

Their customer service line is like a ghost town, I tell ya. Ain't nobody pickin' up the phone, and the lack of communication is drivin' me up the wall. I'm in a real tight spot here, both professionally and financially, and I've been emailin' and callin' 'em for five whole days now, with nothin' to show for it. I feel so dang helpless, I had to come on here and vent.

I'm lookin' for any kinda solution at this point. Maybe they can offer me somethin' else, or give me a refund, or even just point me in the direction of a different product that'll arrive on time. But nope, they still haven't bothered to respond.

I've wasted a good 4 hours of my life just waitin' for someone to pick up that dang phone. It just keeps ringin', and I've left 'em several messages, but nothin'.

I mean, seriously, if you can't take care of your customers, then what the heck are you doin' in business? It's time to step it up, folks.

Gardener's Supply Company Disappointing Experience with Gardener's Supply Company: Unwanted Emails, Out of Stock Item, Lack of Communication

Ordered an item from Gardener's Supply Company and boy, oh boy, did I get more than I bargained for! First off, let me tell you about the email situation. I never signed up for their emails, but lo and behold, I started receiving spam in my inbox every single day. Can you believe it? I mean, isn't that against the law or something? Don't they need my explicit consent?

Now, let's talk about my order. I placed it on December 9th, thinking I would have it in my hands by Christmas. But guess what? No shipping confirmation came my way. Ten long days later, I couldn't take it anymore and decided to investigate. And what do I find out? The item I ordered wasn't even in stock! Can you believe the nerve? They sold me something they didn't even have! And to top it all off, they didn't even bother to let me know about the problem. Talk about keeping a customer in the dark!

So, let's do a little tally of the issues here, shall we? First, they bombard me with unwanted email spam. Strike one. Then, they sell me something they don't even possess. Strike two. And if you take a look at the other reviews here, it seems like I'm not the only one with a horror story. It appears that many others have faced similar frustrations with this company. So, my fellow shoppers, beware! Think twice before placing an order with Gardener's Supply Company. You might just find yourself in a pickle, desperately searching for a last-minute gift like me.

Gardener's Supply Company Terrible Customer Service and Long Delays: A Disappointing Experience with Gardener's Supply

We placed an order on May 17,2020, and we knew that one item was not available until June. We were okay with waiting. We used a $100 gift card to cover half of the purchase, and we provided a credit card for the remaining amount. But guess what? They charged the credit card first, sent a part of the order, and then made us wait for ALMOST THREE MONTHS for the rest of the order. They conveniently kept the gift card as an additional payment in case they couldn't deliver, so they could just refund to that, instead of giving us our money back.

Now, let's talk about their customer service. If you need to call them, be prepared to wait on the phone for at least two hours, and when you finally get someone, they have no clue what they're doing. And if you try to reach out to them through email or any other method, forget about it! They clearly state that they won't help you that way. It's like they don't even bother checking their customer service emails! Great job, guys! 10/10 for your amazing service!

But wait, there's more! The backordered item from our May order suddenly became available for sale on their website around July 4th, with no mention of it being on backorder. And yet, they still didn't ship our order. They told us to wait another 4-6 weeks. And you know what? We actually did wait.

I just don't get it. Why has their service become so terrible? If they're dealing with such a high volume of business that they can't keep up, they should do America a favor and hire more people. Buy more products. Boost the economy!

We have decided to stay as far away as possible from Gardener's Supply, and we will make sure to spread the word to our family and friends.

Gardener's Supply Company Terrible Experience with Order: Missing Items, Unresponsive Customer Service, and Delayed Refund

I placed an order for corners and extensions for a raised bed on April 8, 2020. After waiting for two weeks, I received only half of my order, which is completely useless without the other half. I mean, how can you extend a bed without corners? It's like trying to swim without water, you know? Anyway, their website mentioned that the corners were backordered until the next day. But guess what? Every time I checked the website, the backorder date magically changed to the current day plus one. It's like they were playing a never-ending game of hide and seek with my corners!

Now, let's talk about their customer service. When you call them, no matter what time it is or how many times you try, their automated system tells you that you'll have to hold for a whopping 45 minutes. Can you believe that? I mean, who has that kind of time to waste? They do offer the option to email, but let me tell you, I've sent them three emails and it's been a solid 60 days and still no response. It's like my emails disappeared into a black hole or something.

But wait, it gets even better. After enduring countless hold times and an annoying phone message loop (seriously, try calling them and see for yourself), I finally managed to talk to some agents. However, they seemed to be clueless most of the time. Every time I asked about my order, they would say something like, "Oh, we have them in stock now and it should be shipped out soon." But guess what? It never happened. It was like a broken record, repeating the same empty promises over and over again.

Finally, after 45 agonizing days, I spoke to a woman who actually seemed competent. She informed me that the corners were backordered until August. Can you believe that? August! She did offer to send me a label so I could return the extensions and cancel the order. I must admit, I was relieved. We received the labels and I promptly shipped the product back. That was ten days ago, and guess what? Our order is still open and we haven't received any refund. It's like they're holding onto my money for dear life!

At this point, it seems like I'll have to take matters into my own hands and dispute the charge with my credit card bank. It's such a hassle, you know? I gotta say, I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but man, oh man, I just had to let y'all know about my experience with Gardener's Supply Company. Now, I get it, times are tough with this whole Covid situation, and businesses are facing all sorts of challenges. But let me tell ya, this whole ordeal has left me feeling pretty darn frustrated.

So, about six weeks ago, back in March, I placed an order for two items. I was told they'd arrive in about a week, which seemed reasonable enough. But lemme tell ya, three weeks later, I had to give their customer service a ring. Now, I gotta give 'em credit, the folks on the other end of the line were real nice. They told me my items were back ordered and wouldn't ship until the end of April. Alright, I thought, I can be patient.

But boy, oh boy, patience can only go so far. Five weeks after I placed the order, I decided to give 'em another call. And guess what? Those items were still back ordered! Can you believe it? They told me the items wouldn't ship until the middle of May. At that point, I was just about ready to cancel the whole dang order. But nope, they said I couldn't cancel because the items were in some sort of "picking" status. Alright, fine, I thought, I'll just send 'em back when they finally arrive.

Well, the middle of May came and went, and still no updates on the shipping status. So, I picked up that phone again and gave 'em a ring. After being put on hold for what felt like an eternity (okay, maybe it was just ten minutes), they hit me with the news that the items wouldn't ship until May 28th! Can you believe it? I sure couldn't.

Now, I get it, the supplier might be having some issues, and I can sympathize with that. But what I can't wrap my head around is the fact that Gardener's Supply didn't bother to give me a single shipping update during this whole mess. I mean, come on, guys, a little communication goes a long way!

Needless to say, I won't be ordering anything from Gardener's Supply Company ever again. And let me tell ya, I'd strongly advise y'all to steer clear too. If I could give 'em zero stars, I would. Trust me, folks, there are better options out there.

Gardener's Supply Company Extremely Disappointed with Gardeners: Unacceptable Service, Defective Items, and Lack of Customer Support

I've been shopping at Gardeners for years and I've absolutely loved them! But this year has been so frustrating and such a letdown! I get that COVID-19 has made things difficult for everyone, but this is just unacceptable! I've placed several orders since Christmas, but most recently, I spent nearly 2 hours on hold trying to place an order because I got a gift card from my mom for my birthday! Sadly, when I had all the items in my cart and was ready to check out, they told me they couldn't accept gift cards for online purchases. Can you believe it?

Fast forward to me making several 1 1/2 hour-long calls to check on the status of my order. For some reason, none of my orders are showing up in my account. Can you imagine the frustration? And then, when I finally received my order, guess what? Defective items! Can you believe my luck? So, I made several more 1 1/2 hour-long calls, but guess what happened? I got disconnected every time! Can you believe the nerve?

I also sent a few emails through their contact page on their website, asking about my order, but guess what? They never responded! Can you believe the lack of customer service? And then, today, I was on hold for a whopping 2 hours and 28 minutes, only to be disconnected AGAIN! Can you believe the audacity?

I tried to attach a video so you could hear the "sorry we are having system issues..." message with the dial tone that followed, but it wouldn't let me. So, instead, I took a screenshot of their phone number and the time I spent on hold. Can you believe the lengths I went to just to prove my point?

I would love to contact my credit card company and dispute the charges. I want to find an alternative source for my gardening needs. But here's the kicker: my mom worked hard to earn that money and bought me a gift card. So, I have no way to get my money back for the defective product or even get a replacement, except to wait! Can you believe the injustice?

And to top it all off, I live in Ohio, where the vegetable gardening window is very short. Can you believe the timing of all this? Like I said before, I am extremely disappointed. Can you believe it?

Gardener's Supply Company Disappointing Customer Service and Return Policy for Heavy Drop-Shipped Items

I've bought a lot of stuff from GS over the years, and even though I sometimes had problems with the odd purchase, they always made it right (even if I had to get a little pushy and demand they stick to their customer guarantee promises...those customer service folks can be a bit argumentative, you know?). That's why I kept coming back to them. But something's changed at the company, and I ain't too thrilled about it. Just yesterday, I got a shipment that was all banged up. It was a big ol' heavy thing, weighing in at a whopping 70 pounds. And let me tell ya, the box it came in was just plain pathetic. It had busted wide open during transit. So, I called 'em up to figure out what to do with this half-ripped shipping carton. Should I crack it open and check out what's inside, or should I just tape it back up and send it back? Well, the customer service rep (who was all fake-friendly and talkin' a mile a minute, I swear I missed the old grumpy reps) just kept interrupting me and blabbering on about how the item was shipped straight from the vendor. They told me to inspect it and make a list of all the parts, and then they'd "work with" the vendor to replace anything that was missing or damaged. I tried to explain that once I opened it up, there ain't no way I could pack it back up again. But all they said was that if I needed to return it, the vendor would "help with" the return costs, but first, they needed me to do that darn inventory. Translation: I'm stuck with this thing, whether I like it or not. They ain't takin' it back. So, here's my advice if you're thinkin' of ordering from GS: steer clear of any big, heavy items that are drop-shipped from a vendor. Stick to the stuff they got in stock, right there in their warehouse, or go for smaller items that are easy to ship. 'Cause them big, heavy items that come straight from the vendors, well, they seem to fall into this gray area where nobody wants to take full responsibility.

Gardener's Supply Company Review: Frustrating Experience with Damaged Cast Aluminum & Cedar VegTrug from Gardener's Supply Company

I recently ordered a fancy Cast Aluminum & Cedar VegTrug from Gardener's Supply Company for my wife as a gift for Mother's Day in 2021. Unfortunately, when the packages arrived, they were completely damaged. I tried to return them, but the process was quite frustrating.

The first time I called customer service, I had to wait on the phone for a long 45 minutes before finally speaking to a nice lady. She insisted that I open the damaged package to check if the product itself was also damaged. After confirming that the legs of the stand were indeed damaged, she instructed me to find a Packing Slip and return both packages to the address she provided. However, she made it clear that they would not reimburse me for the return shipment, which I'm sure will be quite costly considering the weight of the packages, which is over 50 pounds.

After the call ended, I opened the second box of planks to search for the packing slip, but to my dismay, there was none to be found. No Packing Slip at all. At this point, I examined the product to see if I could still assemble it despite the damage. Unfortunately, none of the pre-drilled holes in the planks aligned with the holes in the metal stands. In order to assemble the VegTrug, I would need to re-drill the holes, but even then, the connection would be inferior and the weight support would be almost impossible.

Feeling frustrated, I called back again and after another long 53 minutes on hold, I spoke to another agent. I explained to her that the package and product were damaged, there was a manufacturer defect, and there was no packing slip. She put me on hold and after 25 minutes, the call got disconnected from their side. I had to call back once more, and after another 25 minutes or so, I finally spoke to a very nice gentleman. He patiently listened to my concerns and read the comments that the previous representatives had entered into the system. He assured me that he would email me a shipping slip by the end of the day.

It's worth mentioning that the Cast Aluminum & Cedar VegTrug I purchased had a $100 price reduction, but honestly, I believe they should just dispose of the remaining stock of this product. Why would anyone want to buy something that has a manufacturer's defect? Nevertheless, once I receive my refund, which they informed me would take 2-3 weeks, I still plan to purchase the regular VegTrug from Gardener's Supply Company.

In conclusion, I advise against buying the Cast Aluminum & Cedar VegTrug from Gardener's Supply Company. This particular product seems to have been designed to cause frustration and disappointment for the buyer, as I experienced firsthand.

Gardener's Supply Company Disappointing Experience with Gardener's Supply Company: Late Shipping and Lack of Customer Care

Let me tell you how pumped I was about planting veggies in my Rolling U-Garden from Gardener's Supply Company. This thing looked top-notch, the most eye-catching rolling bed I've ever laid my eyes on. Yeah, it cost a pretty penny, but I was dead set on getting it. No doubt about it, this bed was gonna be mine! I knew there might be some delays, but I thought, even if it took a bit longer than the promised 10 days for shipping, it would be totally worth the wait. Oh, and I also splurged on a set of 4 tomato cages for 57 bucks. Pricey, yeah, but I thought they'd be perfect for the rolling bed.

So, ten days passed, and I noticed that out of the two things I ordered that were supposedly "in-stock," only the tomato cages had been shipped. I wanted to get the lowdown, so I gave 'em a call. They told me it was a good thing the cages were in stock, and with the time it takes to pick and ship, I should expect the rolling bed within two weeks. We figured it might even arrive sooner for me since the cages only took two days to get here once they were shipped.

But guess what? A few days later, I get an email from Gardener's Supply saying that the item I thought was in stock was actually NOT in stock. And get this, the latest possible shipping date they gave me was June 25, 2020! (I'm writing this on May 6, 2020, by the way.) What the heck am I supposed to do with the plants I planned to transplant into that bed? And what's the point of shipping it so late? I guess I'll just keep the overpriced tomato cages and use 'em in whatever planters I can find at the last minute.

You know what's even more frustrating? When I called to double-check if this new shipping date was for real, the guy on the other end tells me they've got a whopping 2 million orders to deal with. I tried explaining to him how a proper inventory system works and how any decent business should know how to use one. But Gardener's Supply seems to be clueless about that. They didn't even bother trying to make it up to me for the major inconvenience. And when I told 'em I'd be writing this review, they couldn't care less. Why would they, right? They've got 2 million orders to handle. Well, guess what? They just lost one, 'cause I canceled the rest of my order. I swear, I'll never spend a dime with this company again. And let me tell you, I was ready to drop some serious cash on 'em in the future. I hope they think it's worth it in the long run.

Gardener's Supply Company Terrible Experience: Double Charged and Poor Customer Service - Avoid this Company!

I thought this company was good, so I didn't bother checking out the latest reviews. Boy, was I wrong! They've got a whole bunch of problems, let me tell you. Back in June, I made a purchase from them, thinking everything would be smooth sailing. But then, out of the blue, I get an email in August with the exact same order. What the heck? And to make matters worse, they went ahead and charged my credit card again without my permission!

So, I called up their customer service to straighten things out. But guess what? The representative on the other end had the audacity to argue with me, saying, "Oh, yes you did place that order!" Can you believe it? I had to put my foot down and insist that I never ordered that item twice (and honestly, I wasn't even that impressed with it in the first place). Finally, after much back and forth, he reluctantly agreed to refund the money, but he had the nerve to say that they wouldn't refund the shipping cost, which was practically the same amount as the item itself. Outrageous, right?

Naturally, I protested and made it clear that I wanted a full refund, including the shipping fee. Eventually, he gave in and provided me with a confirmation number, assuring me that everything would be sorted out. But guess what? Days later, I only received half of the refund. Can you believe the nerve of these people? Frustrated, I decided to send them an email to express my dissatisfaction, but it's been crickets since then. No response whatsoever. I even tried calling them, but the wait time was so ridiculously long that I just gave up and hung up the phone.

Now, I'm left with no choice but to dispute this charge with my credit card company. What a hassle! Let me tell you, folks, my advice is to steer clear of this company. I recently placed a big order at Gardeners Supply Company, which included two honeycomb planters for my beloved tomatoes. However, to my disappointment, I only received one planter, even though I was charged for both. Now, I understand that mistakes can happen, but it has been a whole month since I first tried to reach out to Gardener's Supply to address this issue. I've sent multiple emails to their customer service department and even went the extra mile to write them a good old-fashioned letter.

Initially, due to the pesky virus situation, they had a recording on their phone line, so I patiently left messages. Today, I finally decided to give them a call and waited for what felt like an eternity - a whopping 1 hour, 14 minutes, and 35 seconds - just to have my call answered. And guess what? It was only a recording informing me about some system issues and then abruptly saying "goodbye." Can you believe it?

Gardener's Supply Company Terrible Customer Service and Order Delays: A Warning about Gardener's Supply Company

I gotta tell ya, the customer service from Gardener's Supply Company is just plain terrible. Actually, scratch that, it's more like they don't even have customer service at all. It's the same story as everyone else. I ordered two raised garden beds on May 3rd, and my order confirmation said they were in stock. They were supposed to ship after May 10th, but here we are on May 22nd and still no sign of my order.

I tried reaching out to them multiple times through their website, but all I got were those automated responses saying that someone would get back to me. Well, guess what? Nobody ever did. So, I decided to give them a call, thinking maybe I could get some answers that way. But nope, the wait time was a whopping 45+ minutes. I waited on hold for a whole hour and 15 minutes, only to be greeted by yet another automated message about their phone system issues. I couldn't take it anymore, so I had to hang up.

Feeling frustrated, I decided to send them an email, hoping that maybe they would actually respond. But honestly, after reading all these other reviews, I have zero faith that they'll even bother getting back to me. It's like they just don't care about their customers at all.

Gardener's Supply Company Extremely Disappointed with Gardener's Supply Company's Order Fulfillment and Customer Service

I placed an order for the Gracie arbor from Gardener's Supply Company on May 18th. The arbor itself is quite lovely, but unfortunately, I have yet to receive it. It has been well over two weeks now, and I have called customer service a total of three times in hopes of resolving this issue. Each time, I was met with the same response: "It's coming directly from the vendor, and we cannot contact the vendor (!)". Furthermore, they informed me that it typically takes 48 hours before the item is shipped and a tracking number is provided. However, during my next call, I was told that it could take up to two weeks to ship. Then, on the subsequent call, I was informed that it may take up to 9 business days to ship. Finally, after enduring a two-week wait and making my third and final call, I was informed that the item is on backorder.

I cannot adequately express my frustration with this situation. I have two trees eagerly awaiting planting, but I cannot proceed with their installation until the arbor arrives. I pleaded with customer service to investigate the matter thoroughly and provide me with concrete information regarding the status of my order. Unfortunately, their lack of urgency and delay in conducting a simple investigation may result in the trees perishing due to the scorching June heat.

I have made up my mind that I will never engage with this company again. Despite their outward appearance of being a reputable business, their inability to fulfill orders and provide satisfactory customer service has left me deeply disappointed.

Gardener's Supply Company Gardener's Supply Company: A Total Joke with Terrible Customer Service

I placed an order for a shelving unit back in April, you know? I was all excited to get it and set it up in my garden. But guess what? A few weeks later, they hit me with the news that my order won't be shipped until mid-July. Can you believe that? They blamed it on some heavy ordering going on, but come on, man! That's a long wait!

So, they offered me the option to cancel the order. And you know what? I took it. I mean, who wants to wait that long, right? They even sent me an email confirming the cancellation and refunded the money back into my bank account. It was a hefty purchase, around 900 bucks, so I was relieved to have that money back in my pocket.

But here's where things went downhill, my friend. Just last week, around July 23rd or so, I noticed that they took the money from my bank account AGAIN! Can you believe the audacity? They overdrafted my account, man! And get this, I didn't even receive the items! They were stopped mid-shipment, you know? So, it's all on them, their mistake.

I've had not one, but two phone conversations with their customer service, and you know what they told me? They haven't refunded the money yet! Can you believe that? I'm still waiting to access my own hard-earned cash, all because they decided to steal from me and mess up my account. It's just not right, man.

This place, Gardener's Supply Company, is a total joke. They're all about making money, but when it comes to taking responsibility for their screw-ups, they're nowhere to be found. It's just not cool, you know? They need to step up their game and treat their customers right. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy. Stay away, my friend, stay away.

Gardener's Supply Company Frustrating Experience with Gardener's Supply Company: Slow Response, Lack of Information, and Selling Out-of-Stock Items

I gotta tell ya, I had a real frustrating experience with Gardener's Supply Company. So, I went ahead and ordered this jorafoam composter on April 19, 2020. Now, it's been over a month and I haven't received any updates on my order or shipping status. Can you believe that? I mean, come on!

I thought, maybe I should reach out to them online and see what's going on. Well, guess what? No response! Can you believe it? I couldn't either. So, I thought, maybe I'll give 'em a call and see if I can get some answers. But guess what? I got a recorded message saying I'd have to wait a whopping 45 minutes on hold. Can you believe that? I couldn't either.

But hey, I'm a patient person, so I waited. And waited. And waited some more. After a whole hour and fifteen minutes, someone finally picked up the phone. Can you believe it took that long? I couldn't either. They told me that my order was being shipped from the manufacturer and that I'd get an email in about a week and a half. Seriously? A week and a half? That's just ridiculous!

Honestly, I feel like I've given this company a personal interest-free loan. I mean, they've got my money and they're just sitting on it, not giving me any compensation or anything. It's like they're using my money for their own benefit, without a care in the world. And they'll complete my order whenever they feel like it. Can you believe that? 'Cause I sure can't.

Let me tell ya, because of their slow response time, their lack of information, and the fact that they're selling stuff they don't even have in stock, I won't be dealing with Gardener's Supply Company ever again. Gardener's Supply Company Disappointing Experience with Gardners Supply: Poor Customer Service and Lack of Product Guarantee

I've been a loyal customer of Gardners Supply for nearly 15 years, and I've always been a fan of their products. However, this year has been quite disappointing. Let me tell you about my experience with their veg trug, a large planter box for my deck.

Around 10 years ago, I purchased this veg trug with the promise of guaranteed satisfaction for life. It was supposed to be durable and not require any sealant. But about 6 years ago, I decided to reseal it with the recommended Eco sealant, just to be safe. I emptied it out and spent some extra money on the sealant.

Fast forward to this year when I decided to make some upgrades to my garden. I spent a whopping $400 on various products from Gardners Supply. Unfortunately, I had to empty the veg trug again, only to discover massive damage caused by carpenter ants. It turns out that the ants were attracted to the rotting wood, which wouldn't have happened if the trug had remained in good condition.

Naturally, I reached out to Gardners Supply via email to express my concerns. Their response was quite disheartening. They basically stated that they don't guarantee their expensive wood products, despite the fact that this information is nowhere to be found on their website. They also mentioned that the expensive sealant I used didn't do its job properly. Instead of offering a solution or taking responsibility, they seemed more interested in getting back their expensive upgrades and losing a long-time customer.

I must say, their approach is incredibly short-sighted and their practices seem fraudulent. It's truly disappointing to see a company prioritize their own costs over customer satisfaction. I had planned to continue buying products from Gardners Supply for another 10 years or more, but now I'm seriously reconsidering. I strongly advise you to look elsewhere for your gardening needs.

Gardener's Supply Company Terrible Customer Service and Lack of Integrity: A Warning about Gardener's Supply Company

Customer service at Gardener's Supply Company is practically non-existent. Good luck trying to figure out why your order never arrived. And if it does show up broken, forget about getting any help from them. They won't even bother responding to your inquiries unless you personally go to their headquarters and complain about their terrible customer service. This kind of treatment is enough to make me warn everyone I know to never buy from them again.

The downfall of this company will be the word-of-mouth. People will hear about the lousy service they provide, and it will either dry up their sales or force them to make some much-needed improvements for the sake of their own success and the satisfaction of their customers, who are the lifeblood of their business.

It's a shame because Gardener's Supply Company is employee-owned. I really want to support businesses like that, but when their customer service is shadier than those big multinational corporations, it really makes you question their integrity. Even a 3am streetwalker in a rundown neighborhood provides better service than they do, and I'm not even into that kind of thing.

I ordered some planters from Gardener's Supply Company because they were listed as being in stock. The website mentioned that the delivery would take around five days, which seemed reasonable. So, I went ahead and paid with my credit card. However, after a whole month had passed, I still hadn't received my order. Frustrated, I tried calling their customer service, but unfortunately, I couldn't get through to anyone. Feeling desperate, I decided to send them three emails, hoping for a response. But to my dismay, I didn't receive any reply at all.

Determined to get some answers, I called them again, only to be put on hold for a whopping 45 minutes! Finally, someone answered, and they assured me that my order would be shipped that week. However, two weeks went by, and I received an email stating that my items had been shipped. Unfortunately, there was no tracking number provided. To my disappointment, the items never arrived.

I decided to send two more emails before finally receiving a response. Their reply shocked me. They admitted that the items were never shipped and had never even been in stock. Plus, there was no shipping fee, and they had them in stock, promising a delivery within just two days.

What disappointed me the most was that Gardener's Supply Company made no effort to rectify the situation or compensate for the eight weeks of stringing me along and miscommunication. It's disheartening when a company fails to take responsibility for their mistakes and doesn't value their customers' time and loyalty.

I placed an order for an LED light stand system from Gardener's Supply Company in January. The website showed that it was in stock and available at the time of my order. However, to my disappointment, the order never arrived. Frustrated, I decided to contact their customer service number. It took me at least an hour to finally reach someone, and when I did, they informed me that the item was actually backordered and would only be shipped at the end of April. This was obviously too late for my spring planting plans.

Not willing to wait any longer, I decided to order a more expensive LED light stand that was supposedly "in stock." However, after waiting for 2 or 3 weeks, the item still hadn't arrived. I sent an email to inquire about the delay, but received no response even after several days. Feeling frustrated once again, I decided to call their customer service number. Unfortunately, I had to endure over an hour of waiting before I could speak with someone. When I finally got through, they apologized for the delay and explained that their email response time was days behind. They assured me that the item would be shipped soon.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, I received the LED light stand system. However, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment when I realized that the directions provided were absolutely horrible. To make matters worse, several machine screws were missing, and two of the main side rails were defective and needed to be replaced. I once again contacted customer service, but had to wait for another hour before I could get through to someone. They apologized for the inconvenience and promised to immediately ship the replacement parts.

That was two weeks ago, and I still haven't received the replacement parts. At this point, I have decided that once the planting season is over, I will return the item altogether. Overall, my experience with Gardener's Supply Company has been extremely frustrating and challenging. It has been a real struggle to do business with them, and I would not recommend them to others.
