Gacha life 2 is very different compared to the other gacha games and is overall really fun and advanced, but there will always be some downsides to a good game. My first ick is honestly the eye base, it feels really thick compared to the other games and it throws me off a lot. The other thing is just more for content use, the whole app being vertical originally makes iphones think that it’s still being used vertically so the images/videos come out that way, and yes i can manually flip them but it would be nice if the horizontal setting wasnt just within the game but instead throughout the whole phone itself.

Other then those two thinks i think its a really fun game but it will for sure take a lot to get used to it as well as finding a new character style that will look good!

Glitches :
So I love this game so much but there is a few glitches for me.
It mostly has to do with portrait and landscape mode
It glitches sometimes and zooms in and I can’t get back out and sometime it flips upside down and I can’t get it the normal way so please fix this .

Poses:
I know this game came out like a few hours ago for IOS but I really have trouble with finding poses I like. I also wish here was running poses because I was trying to make a video.and please bring the old poses back

Hands:
The hands are amazing but they come with different poses and I really wish I could just choose my own hands.

To start…the good! I like how you can change from portrait to landscape. The music change. The sfx. The new stuff. Import x export. Custom pose. unlimited adjust. But.. if you play in landscape and then get an ad when you close out it’ll go to half portrait half landscape if that makes sense. Sometimes I’ll go to Presets and it just won’t load. sometimes all leave and my characters name will become something like “wwwwwwwwwwww” or “bbbbbbbbbbbb” and also the pose picture thing wont change when i make a custom pose. And the hands wont change sometimes. But otherwise, this game is amazing

The amount of customization is incredible and makes creating characters really enjoyable as you can get as creative as you want! The app itself isn’t the problem but every time I get an ad, when it takes me back to the game the screen zooms in. So I would have to restart the game to continue. I also found that doing that often causes the game to stop working. After getting rid of the tab and opening it again, the only thing that shows is a white screen with the background music playing. I have tried multiple times to get the game running again but so far I have no clue on how to fix it. I’m not sure if you delete the app it would save your characters so i’m a bit hesitant to do so.

I’m very happy that there’s finally a new gacha game I’m very grateful for all the hard work Luni and everyone else who worked on this game put in. I love the improved that were made from the older games but this game is very difficult to figure out how to use. There is also a lot of bugs as the game is brand new (such as if you switch it to landscape mode a lot of things stay portrait mode). It’s difficult to find where the assets are, it’s hard to tap colors, and there’s very few backgrounds. I’m not sure what will be added in future updates but I’m hoping these bugs get fixed and it gets easier to use.

TLDR: great improvements but hard to find things and use them, also has bugs

I absolutely love it. I’ve been waiting to get this out for so long and I thought that like androids were gonna get it first I was like OK at least we get it sometime so then I realize that Apple like iOS got it personal so cute yes oh my gosh Me so happy this is a family happy that we finally get a mod mod that we don’t have to go on the website like we don’t have to like cause like we had because I was Asics the iOS android has so many mods like they have gotcha knocks/nebula in like they have so many other things so many cool things and I’m like mom I want an android and yes don’t bully me. I’m still with my parents but I hate so cool the hands every Everything is just wow I’m in love Ty Ty Ty so much luni ❤️❤️❤️❤️

a few about gacha life 2

1. It’s better than Gacha Club, but also not it doesn’t have any new clothes or anything

2. I am assuming there’s still working on it because some of the stuff is coming soon, but there are no running animations you would have to do them yourself, which is kind of annoying.

3. I didn’t expect there to be less hair than I initially wanted it there’s less clothes and I initially wanted to. It’s still the same as Gacha Club.

4. It’s basically just gotcha club and Gacha life mixed together. I would hope there would be some clothing options from Gacha life in there as well, but there is not.

Overall, I really like the game 10 out of 10 I would definitely use this more than Gacha Club, but it’s it’s a thought-

The gacha community is growing once again! This is such a wonderful game im not sure where to start. We’ve been asking for updates for gacha club and we never really got them- but thx luni! we got a game this has SO many features! i wasn’t expecting so much, but i should’ve. it was so hyped up the adjusting, colors, items, everything is just magical! and the presets for the gachatubers are so sweet ^^ im a small gachatuber. i use gacha club to make my youtube videos because im used to it. this, im not quite used to. yet im sure i’ll get the hang of it! because if i didnt, this wonderful masterpiece wouldn’t be used. in conclusion, i enjoy this app alot! im 100% certain this community is gonna grow SM with this new app and new opportunities

Like the title says, this game was good. I really loved the pose maker and more adjusting opportunities. And the new ideas were cute. But, the main menu and studio felt crammed. (My phone wouldn’t let it flip horizontal so maybe it was just a glitch.) And over all this felt more like a OC maker than a story maker. I didn’t see a story button so maybe when the game fully gets completed it’ll be better. Also, there are less settings and no default poses. (ie. running, sitting, laying, etc)

If you are looking for a story maker I suggest taking green screen screenshots of the OC on this game and adding it to a setting in Gacha life/club in an editing app. Overall not a bad game but I don’t feel like it lived up to me and the Gacha community’s expectations.

This has got to be the best gacha life game ever, the shading is perfect and the color slider and posing system are phenomenal! Nothing could ever possibly bring this down to anything but a five. With some of the options blocked off and coming soon makes me more ecstatic to see what else this team has in store. Luni really feels like a person and a team collaboration more than a company, my only and ONLY! Slight complaint is the lack of the ability to make character cards, back in the older games they could add sections such as favorite foods or occupations, this really made me feel connected to my characters even if the options were limited. But truly Luni outdid himself for everything in gacha life 2, this is the almighty successor to all of the past games.

Hey, totally recommend and I was hoping some of these “bugs” could be fixed!

- When an AD appears and you skip it, it totally messes up the screen turning it upside down forever in portrait mode. And when you click on Landscape the screen just gets smaller. One of the ways to avoid this is bug is to just close the tab and open it back up. But sometimes it doesn’t work and just zooms in really close.

- I have no idea if this is intentional of course but when you change the shirt or jacket the whole outfit is changed to that one color, and changing the sleeves per say also changes the whole outfit!

I haven’t really found any other bugs so far, and I’m aware that I’m not a beta or part of luni’s team but I just wanted to make that aware for you and other people who will play this game! It’s really good!

I’ve always loved gacha life and I was super excited to finally jump on the creative bandwagon when I heard there was a new app out, but as I searched through their extensive catalog of hair shapes I found a lack of ones that matched my own.
I am a black girl with very thick curls. There are very few hairstyles that include curls at all that could replicate my own. I searched for locs, box braids, afros, anything that could resemble the hair that I know and love and came up empty.

I really love this game, and want to enjoy it as much as anyone else, but I simply cannot if I cannot see myself reflected in the characters. There is so much diversity and culture in our hairstyles and with how popular gacha life has been, it’s time for it to grow to reflect that. Black hairstyles are not boring and they never have been.

There’s a few glitches but nothing game breaking, Its probably just cause I’m using my iPad, that will probably be fixed soon, but in case the devs aren’t aware, there’s a few glitches on the iPad where the screen is turned the wrong direction, screenshots are sideways, and going into an ad bugs the screen so it’s zoomed in by a lot and you can’t enter studio or use certain buttons

And using Landscape mode also bugs the screen to where it’s zoomed in to much, + updating a pose in studio doesn’t switch you to the pose you’re attempting to edit, but that may be a creative choice, idk

Anyway! Besides that! I love the game and all the extra options and new things I can use! It’s gonna be a lot of fun to play! Since it’s day one, bugs are inevitable, so I won’t complain, only inform the devs so it can be fixed in the future

I have been a gacha user for many years now, and this release (in my opinion) is the greatest one! But there is one thing that has been happening a LOT recently with the game. Thankfully, there is not many ads, but when there is an ad and it's over it get to a smaller screen. Let me just describe it. There is two sides, and they're both white but then there's the actual game. Yes it is playable BUT most of the options disappear, so there's not much to do. Every time this happens I have to repetivly restart my phone. I don't wanna have to do that. But overall, amazing app I really love the fact that you can customize your own poses and adjust everything! One suggestion is that you should remove items that people might make gacha heat with but other than everything I've said this is an AMAZING app, and I highly suggest installing it!

Positive: this is absolutely cute and nice! I love how you did and made it! Although it’s confusing I think I will get used to it if I use it more! I like how there’s a lot of slots just like gacha club. It’s pretty much kind of the same as gacha club the same clothes, the same eyes but I’m sure you’ll add more in the future since I’ve seen most features will come in soon! The poses are a bit ok it isn’t as bad but kinda wished it was like gacha life and club! I like how you added more to the face accesories! Such as the gloom (the face face) :: Overall I like it and it’s very nice! Can’t wait to see what you have next in the next update!

Negative-ish?: almost nothing but the eyes, I feel like the eyes shouldn’t be as thick it feels like you added bold/thick to the eyes (did) but I just wish it was not as thick and was like kinda like gacha club & life overall it’s good! It’s cute, Chibi and super adorable!

I’m gonna give it a 5 star because it is a really good game and I highly recommend it for more advanced players. Newer players should focus on gacha club since the adjustment tab is more advanced in GL 2. It is obvious that Luni worked very hard on this game but there are just a few things that could help, such as pointing out bugs. So i am here to provide.
1. A weird screen-tilt glitch
This screen glitch affects me a lot either when i first enter the game or while i’m using it. Sometimes whenever I use the landscape option it is perceived as the portrait option. Same thing goes with the Portrait option just reverse it. It’s a little annoying but I’m not complaining yet since this game is very new.
2. Screenshot glitch (AWSTG pt2)
Whenever I take a screenshot with the landscape mode I have to slide it down, since the entire landscape mode is actually just portrait mode but tilted to fit the Ipad screen better and make things accessible a lot more easy. It’s also annoying since when I go to my pictures, all my photos are sideways as if in portrait mode. Please luni, fix this. I know the game is new but I beg of you. This is amazing! Although some things could be added. I love how the outfits are designed, and the shading. And everything! Is there a way you can add like a horizontal screen for iPad users, because it’s hard for iPad users to go in studio and make there screen flip over and stuff. Also there is a glitch I’m trying to fix. Whenever I open gacha life 2 my screen turns white for awhile and it doesn’t change, idk if it’s shut down for revamping or something, but it won’t let me in the app it’s just a blank white screen for me to stare at. Another thing is that is there a anti gacha heat thing? Because I can tell that by the face shadows in the face acc-s when you color it, red is a option. And gacha heaters use that for disgusting things. And they can probably use the adjusted skirts for weird stuff. Not saying I’m hating on any of this, I love the face shadow color ideas coming back again, and adjusting skirts idea because I’ve been waiting years for that feature! It’s just because of you know, gacha heaters. Is there any way you can add a anti heat feature? Like if they equip weird things on that’s gacha heat you can stop them from using the items, or banning/kicking them from the game? Maybe adding a text box that pops up saying “Please do not use these items for inappropriate use, it violates our TOS, and we want our game to be child friendly for children and adults freely to use.” Or something. They can also do that with the body adjusting features like bad stuff using them. Even tho I love that feature and also been waiting for years for it. I hope you can solve these problems! After all I might edit this if I can, or something. But anyways, This game is a 10/10. Good designing, templates, and ideas! Hope for more in the future. Like a area where you a submit designs in besides the discord server, or a make your own designed items/ oufits, etc. Thanks for reading my review if you did!

Having gacha life 2 on ios is very unexpected from most people, especially since ios is known for no mods and getting games out late. Although it is only the beta, before the full game comes out, I’ll make a review on what to expect from the beta gameplay!

1: Bugs
I really didn’t see no problems or bugs with the game at firsthand. But one annoying bug is in the game, and I haven’t seen any since. That one bug was the landscape ad bug. Whenever a ad would come on, if you are on landscape mod, the entire thing will get messed up and you have to reopen the app. Personally it’s not that big of a deal, you will just have to play in portrait mode before the full release, but it’s really annoying, specially for tablet players. I really hope that one bug gets fixed, but other than that I didn’t have any problems

2: Enjoyment
I had so much fun playing the game for the first time. My hyper self already made so much characters. All the new features in this game is so fun. The life feature is one of them. I’m really hyped about what will happen with it when the full release comes out. Speaking of that, there are also other features waiting to come out like old and animated poses, skits, and more. But even without the full version, I can already see myself playing it. The beta already looks like the full version, and it’s already really fun to play with!

3: Custom Poses and Cards
The new custom poses are some of the highlights of this beta. The poses look so cool. But sometimes, I have difficulty using them. Although it usually takes me like 3 minutes to make a single pose, it’s still worth it. And with all the new custom pose YouTube videos, I can already tell this is probably the easiest way to animate Gacha characters. Another feature is the cards. You can Gacha for them and get more! You have to use gems tho, kinda like in Gacha club and Gacha Life, but to get more, you need to watch ads. Tbh, watching a ad is a better use of time, because it can get you a-least 30 more cards every-time. I have about 280 cards in my collection, and I’m ready to find more!

4: Recommendations
For one, I noticed that this game is a big opportunity for Gacha heaters, but hopefully Luni will do something like that. So for the time being, Gacha Life 2 is the best app to get rn for Gacha content. It’s definitely better than the new Gacha club update for iOS, and I think this app even without the full features is a win win!

And that’s why Gacha Life 2 from me gets a 8/10 and 5 stars! Would recommend for experienced Gacha players who want more customization and more free will!

This game is not fun very boring it’s really laggy too and every time it keeps giving me ads and kicking me out of the game they didn’t even finish the game yet it keeps saying coming soon on almost everything ‍♀️‍♀️

I’m looking at my dang screen and it’s not working I just want to play Gacha life to I’m so sorry for the inconvenience but it’s just not working please fix this then I’ll write a good review it’s looks really good and it’s really hard for me to get in the game

The reason why this is one star is.. 1. I’m honestly confused even after watching that blue haired girl explain stuff.. posing the characters are so difficult,, 2. There’s literally no new POC hairs.. you add other (pointless in my opinion) Stuff.. I’m honestly disappointed.

Gacha club is so much better than this game this is so hard to use and confusing and has way less items and hairs I can barely even make a character with this and why did you remove so many of the hairs and clothes I thought you were going to add more stuff and improve the stuff huge downgrade

This might just be a personal thing, but the current system of adjusting characters is abysmal compared to gacha club. And is there a way to make it so we can import and export characters from gacha club into gacha life 2? And what's the point of the extra features like free move if it's not useful?

There’s a bug that kept forcing my screen into portrait while the game is in landscape and vise versa. I tried reinstalling but it remained the same so I lost all my progress and the glitch is still there. I’ve also tried shutting down my iPad and everything too. Still broken. It’s just unplayable.

The game is supposed to be Gacha it’s that we know in life but it’s really just a children’s game now I’ve been playing Gacha for so long, but this new art style, and outlines to clash really makes me think what did we do wrong we waited at least seven years for a new game and all we got is a New art style

This app is just like gacha club except they added cell shading, most features are the same, some aren’t even in the game yet, and there are barely any new assets. The hype for this game was insane, yet did not deliver. I hope to see more updates in the near future, this game for the time being just seems like a gacha club update.

I’m all for customization. I’m all for the idea of it, but this is CRAZY! I can barely do anything on it and all the outfits and such look so BULKY! Gacha Club was PERFECT. But now I can’t do anything on it cause I can’t SAVE anything! Really all Gacha Club needed was a update! I like the idea of this, like the idea was spot on, but the designs, the bulkiness is just.. no.. like the entire customization thing is cool, I like that. The being able to design your own pose and such is amazing and I love the new little outfits, but the texture of it is so off.. everything is so bulky and none of it seems to fit and the hands.. oh god the hands.. whyyy… I really just want Gacha Club to save again so I can play that..

I downloaded this game: so excited to play! But come to find out it’s nothing like Gacha club or Gacha life, turns out it’s so difficult to use. I tried to make a character and I struggled to create it at every step, I gave up at the face, just realizing it will take me longer to make the character than to do anything with it.. Gacha TikTok’s and Gacha YouTube is kinda the only thing keeping Gacha club and life alive and, with the layout you can’t make any videos, which makes the game even worse, the one good part of this game is the character storage, if you were to combine the insane amount of characters you could make: with the simplicity and ease of Gacha club creation and it’s formations for devices, you’d have me hooked! But, so far, will not be playing again.
