I have been a registered user on Freelancer.com for the past 10 years and have always tried to follow the platform’s rules in good faith. Recently, I faced an unusual and concerning situation.
A client shared their contact number with me. Despite this, a penalty was imposed on my account with the ultimatum to either pay the penalty or leave the platform. I paid the penalty as instructed, fully cooperated with the process, and intended to continue following all Freelancer policies.
However, after making the payment, my profile was permanently closed, and I was informed that the decision is final and that I am not allowed to create a new account, with a warning that any new account would also be closed.
This has been extremely distressing, especially considering my long-standing history on the platform. I respectfully request a fair review of my case and clarification on why my account was closed even after compliance and penalty payment. I am willing to strictly adhere to all platform rules going forward and request one final opportunity to continue using Freelancer.com.
