Freedom Mortgage review: Failure to follow through with loan closing and lack of communication

We had a closing date 2/26/21, scheduled and then on the day of the closing they had to stop because they put the loan number as the property house number!
I had to call my contact and then a hot line before I got an answer as to why the closing was cancelled.
The next week they got everything ready but I had to wait a week for the next available closing date. Fine. It was all set I was told the closing docs were all correct and ready to go.
On 3/10/21 -4 Hrs before our scheduled appt a rep from Mortgage Connect called and set Freedom Mortgage cancelled the closing - no explanation. I checked my email - nothing; my cell phone msgs - nothing.
I call my contact at Freedom Mortgage and emailed him. No REPLY.

They have a VERY BAD issue with communication. YOU have to initiate all contact if there is a question or an issue comes up. This is very strange because THEY reached out to me regarding the RE-FI.

At this point I will have to continue with my current mortgage and I'm lucky that I have a day before I would be past due to get the payment in.

I would NEVER recommend Freedom Mortgage to ANYONE especially for a mortgage or a REFI especially if you are a VET and have a VA Loan. They will screw a VA before anything.
