We have been trying for weeks to restore our AstralPool Connect 10 system to normal operation. During 2026, it has gone from bad to worse. Even resetting our password took Fluidra almost ten days.
The system works for several days and then stops communicating, despite no changes to our local hardware, wiring or network. We also tested it using a direct Ethernet connection.
The pump starts when a timer begins but then remains stuck at the preset speed. We cannot change the speed or stop it through the controller or app. The only way to stop it is to switch off the main power.
Every year we are asked to repeat the same cable, Wi-Fi and power-cycle checks, but the underlying fault is never identified or permanently resolved. We have repeatedly requested a proper technical investigation and review of the gateway and communication logs, but Fluidra has still not provided a diagnosis or reliable solution.
Recommendation: Before purchasing an AstralPool automation system, ask for written confirmation that the pump and heater can still be controlled locally if the app, Internet Gateway or Fluidra server stops working. Also confirm who owns the online account, who will diagnose communication faults after the warranty expires, and whether replacement equipment can be returned if it does not solve the problem. Based on our experience, I cannot currently recommend ConnectMyPool. A pool-control system should never start equipment and then leave the owner unable to change or stop it without switching off the main power.

Stop repeating their scripted checks. Send Fluidra one written escalation with your model, serial number, dates, the Ethernet test results, and the exact pump symptom. Ask for tier three support to pull the gateway and communication logs and give you a written diagnosis or a replacement gateway within ten working days. Put that deadline in the email and copy their regional service manager. If they miss it, file with your national consumer protection agency using the same evidence. You already have proof the fault is theirs, so make them answer on paper.
