I bought stair treads and risers from Flooring.org on 11/6. They said it would take 4-6 weeks to ship, but I still haven't gotten them. I called twice and left messages, sent an email, but no one answered. I paid $2325.08 for oak treads and risers (Invoice number 2680) and $51.30 for a longer tread length on 11/6. I called twice in the last two weeks and left messages, but no one called me back. I emailed them this week, but still no response.

Ordered stair treads on 2/3. They said it would be ready in 7-10 days. I emailed and called a lot since February, but they keep saying it will be shipped soon. They keep saying it will be shipped by a certain day, but it never happens. Now we might not get our Certificate of Occupancy because we can't finish the work.

I bought a custom starter step kit from Flooring.org in March. They had reasonable prices and offered the four "standard" treads that I needed along with the more "custom/unique starter step". The starter step shown on their website was a complete kit including the stair tread riser along with the tread. I finalized the order and approved for manufacturing near the beginning of May . This order was just received on Friday 6/19 which was when I realized the starter step was not manufactured as purchased. I reached out to the sales manager to discuss this issue and was hoping to be credited or the missing riser be supplied free of charge. He informed me that he could provide a quote on this riser at this time but could not do anything else, I respectfully declined this service and ended the call leading me to contact the ComplaintsBoard.com. What I find most interesting is that during my search of this product in March I chose this company because they offered the exact item I needed at half the price of the next company I discovered to obtain the start step kit. This item was posted on their website with plenty of options of how it could be created and various spec sheets depicting it. When I receive the items on Friday the 19th I instantly went back to their website to ensure that this was a complete kit. Once I got to the starter step page of their website is when I discovered that they have removed this product from their offerings. Now how did I just purchase a custom starter step kit in April and now you no longer offer this component? The four other treads purchased we priced at $60 roughly a piece, which I find to be fair pricing. The start step kit I purchased was $300 dollars, which I also found to be a fair price since it was to include the tread and associated riser. Now that I have received only the tread for the starter step, in no way is this pricing in line for the product as the other treads were $60 a piece. Flooring.org also shipped these through the freight system which was just shy of $200 in shipping cost. I did agree to this method as it made sense with the starter step kit being fairly larger and having some weight to it, plus the additional 4 treads. But once again since I received only 5 total treads and not the starter kit riser this order could have been sent through the ground system which would have saved easily $100 dollars in shipping cost. Overall very unpleased with false advertisement and end result of working with this company.
