Fiverr review: Incompetent freelancers - Close orders before completed

The freelancer performed work like a beginner. I had to repeatedly tell him what he was doing incorrect. I felt like a project manager. He included random AI images. My website looks like an amateur worked on it, not a level 1 freelancer! I'm done with Fiverr!

I felt like I was a project manager. I had to repeatedly point out mistakes and circle them. Then, he would say "I'm done!" I'd check his work and he wouldn't be done. And just told me anything to close the order.

It reminded me of having to tell my 16 year old to clean up, what to clean. Then, she says "I'm done!" I go check several times, and she's not done. She just told me anything to get off of the hook. That's how working with Ilyas was!

His work is equivalent to a beginner. His work is nowhere near a level 1 freelancer.

The order was closed, though I requested that he fix the things that I've asked him to fix 10x in the last month.

I'm done with Fiverr. It's a bunch of foreigners proclaiming to be professionals and level 1. However, they fudge their way through using AI. Then, they get mad when you check their work with AI. LOL

If you're contacting Fiverr for services, 9 out of 10, you don't have any idea if the freelancer is doing what you hired the to do. They'll tell you that they're done and read the summary of work that they were supposed to do. There is no way to check their work without AI or a professional. And if you had a professional, you wouldn't be hiring a Fiverr freelancer. IJS

If you still feel compelled to use Fiverr, after my warning. Do not use Hanna Y or Ilyas K for web designing!

As you can see in the screenshots, I requested the same changes from 07/24/2026 - 08/10/2026. Ilyas completed the order without the required changes being made.
