I needed to fax something and I already have an old unreliable printer so I wanted to see if there was another convenient way to fax these documents. I downloaded the app and faxed over my documents…it ended up taking 30 minutes for 7 sheets! That’s ridiculous, it was taking so long that I ended up using the old faxing machine and it went through faster. I was and still am disappointed with the service so I reached out to customer support to cancel my subscription and requested a refund and they said no. What a scam! That’s like going to a restaurant, ordering something that doesnt taste good, and the restaurant saying “oh well, eat it… and make sure you pay for it.” So unprofessional. I don’t recommend this app AT ALL. Go to your library if you need to fax something, just stay away from this scam app. It ridiculous that they make you pay full price for a service you won’t ever use. I deleted the app and will request my money a different way.

It doesn't come up often, but when I do get asked to fax something I usually have no idea where to start. I don't have a fax machine at home (like so many others these days) and sometimes I just can't find the time to make another stop in my day to do so.

This handy app takes all of that stress away by letting you fax things directly from your phone. The document preview is great for making sure it won't look awful on the other end. Whether you import or take the photo with your phone, your documents will look professional in no time.

While the app itself is free, actually faxing something costs money. This is no surprise since you'll be charged to fax if you go into an office supplies store or something similar. Do a simple in-app purchase for credits and that's it! No big hassle and you'll have plenty of credits for later faxes, for a small price.

Definitely worth the download if you work from home, on the go, or just don't want to mess with the fax machine in the office. ;)

The app works just like you would expect a fax app to work: use the camera to capture images of documents, apply some rudimentary image quality filters, enter number, and send.

What I don’t like:
1. When dragging corners into place on a scan, my fat stump fingers cover the entire zoom area circle and I can’t see where I’m dragging the corner to. I’m on iPhone 6s Plus. Can’t imagine how much worse it would be on a smaller size phone.

2. Non-intuitive options for how to go from scanning screen to faxing screen.

3. Each scanned page of a document is saved as a separate document file. Foolish of me to expect that it would save as a single multi-page document, like many other fax apps do.

4. Subscription options only. Ok, there’s no free cheese, I get it. But if I only need to send one single fax in the foreseeable future, a subscription, even a week long one, is complete overkill.

5. Subscription pricing. It’s COVID-19 “shelter in place”. Funds are tight if not non-existent. Ugh.

Very seldom do I need to send a fax these days. For the past few years this elegant and simple app has served me well for sending PDFs when necessary. Due to the limited necessity, the previous credit model was great. On the couple of occasions per year when I had to send a fax, I could come back to this dependable app and spend my hoarded credits to get the job done without thinking twice.

However, I opened the app today to send a fax that I planned my day around only to be halted by a subscription screen upon attempting to send. As I cancelled the fax and searched the rest of the app for my credit balance which was nowhere to be found. So seldom do I send faxes, I had not noticed the payment model had changed since my last use.

While I can understand a change of payment models and agree the developer has the right to make that change, it appears that there was no effort to grandfather in previously purchased credits. Voiding prepaid credits just seems disingenuous and is poor business practice.

In the app description, about seven different times they claim there’s a free trial. The length of the trial is never disclosed (red flag #1) and neither is how to redeem the free trial (red flag #2).
In order to submit a fax, it requires you sign up for a subscription. So I presumed I had a free (although unknown) amount of time to test out that it had the features I wanted and would only be charged after the (again unspecified and unknown) free trial duration.
Many other fax apps would communicate that a fax was sent but wasn’t, send partial pages, poor scanning, etc., so it was important for me to test this before committing.
I was wrong. I was charged immediately. Prior to setting up the subscription, I checked the app everywhere for how to initiate the trial. There was nothing that said how to do so — so as with most subscription apps, I figured I would be given a trial grace period before being charged.
Instead, I was fully charged instantly.
Contacted the app creators and they never responded.

The app works. The 1 star is for the ambiguity of using the free trial.

Downloaded the app and tried to use the free trial, but it kept directing me to the subscription page. Contacted customer service - they were really quick to respond which was great. They said I just needed to sign up then I could use my free trial and cancel it before it ended. I picked the week-long subscription because I don’t need the app for a year. It charged me without a chance to use the free trial. Got back in touch with the same person at customer service and they said I should have chosen the year subscription to get the free trail. I told her that would have been great info to know and asked if she could convert my subscription to a year and refund my $9.99 (to effectively give me my free trial). She then said I had to handle all payment issues through Apple directly and then gave me a link to cancel my subscription. Not super helpful at this point.

But the app works, the 1 star is for the ambiguity of how to uses the free trial.

I don’t usually write reviews, but because of the incredible usefulness of this app, I wanted to share!

Technology is constantly changing; however, Faxing is not a dead communication tool. Although there are multiple options available to send documents via email and smartphones but also invites viruses, spam, phishing and damages of. In addition to that, privacy cannot be protected.

Our home like many others has disconnected the landline and the phone number of and now use our cell phones exclusively. The thought of getting another line just for faxing doesn’t merit the expense since faxing is for our home is sporadic with a only a handful of times needing this in a year. I would reach out to others I know w a fax to assist, or I would go to to a pay service such as UPS relying on others and my documents and information of them would also be in their hands.

This app solves all of the above and with the convenience of anytime and anywhere! This app also confirms if a document was sent or not making this app super GREAT everything.

Price, which is everybody's bottom line, was $2.99 for 50 credits. I'm in WA state and had to send a 3 page PDF to an Insurance company in KY and the amount requested was 30 credits. Very fair price since finding a fax is like digging for dinosaurs.
The app allows you to either enter a one time number or pull from the Contacts app. My PDF was in Dropbox and I used the Open In feature to pick this FAX app. This is explained in the FAQ section in the app.
Once the app sends the fax you get a brief confirmation message that goes away.

Suggestions:
The Sent Fax list shows the phone number and qty of pages, that's it. I'd like to see the recipient name, and the title of the document. The recipient came from my Contacts so it was available with the number. Also the title of the document is there when sending.
A fax transmittal email would be useful as both a record and something for proof should the recipient ask for it. These were legal docs. Just supply a place in the app to store a profile and an email for this.

Great app, keep up the good work!

This is a DANGEROUS ap! I used it a number of times and thought it was great and very convenient, UNTIL...

1. “Confirmed” faxes don’t always reach destination.
2. Watch your payment account! I found numerous unauthorized charges for purchasing various packages, such as “unlimited faxing for one month” or “unlimited...one year”.
3. They KEEP THE IMAGES of your faxes! I asked for a record of my account that I could download to compare to the charges. There were all the images of every document— signatures etc. now I’m checking for identity theft!
4. The “support” team will be unable to tell you anything about the above. They will insist images are not kept, for example. And the Supervisor will never be available.
5. Deleting this ap will not clear those images and other records. Some say deleting means you start fresh, but that’s certainly not been true for this ap on my iPhone 11.

Turn and run from this ap! And watch out for other APS by the same guy. After seeing his name in the unauthorized transactions in my bank account, I want nothing to do with him.

I purchased credit through this app a while back when I decided to purchase an entire years worth of a subscription instead thinking that I wouldn’t be able to use my credits as well as getting a years worth of usage after the credits were used. My credits disappeared so that purchase was wasted after I purchased the subscription. I was told by customer support in the app that I need to contact Apple so I was under the assumption that this was an Apple app. No matter how many times I’ve had a conversation with people in the app they failed to respond after Covid hit and the subscription that I had from 11/25 two 11/25 was basically used 6 times (not unlimited as I had purchased it for $49.99) due to the fact that I lost my job and was not able to use this for any reason. I have contacted people about it and no response. I will continue to forward emails to support because this is unfair and unjust and a company should refund or credit you if you are able to prove that you still have no job and this application was used for that sole purpose, especially when COVID destroyed so many lives this year.

This is one of those things that you simply do not want to get rid of. It would be a mistake to delete it. One never knows when they will need to send a fax, and this app does it perfectly. The app itself is fluid and is very responsive. It should only take a couple seconds to send a fax that you need. And not only that, the beauty of its simplistic design is very aesthetically pleasing. Unlike other apps, whose UI is clunky and difficult to work with, this app's UI is easy to use, even for technology beginners.

The direction the developers went with making sure that it is easy to use is certainly a main selling point. You only need to input a recipient and chose a fax to send, and presto, it's sent. It doesn't get any simpler than that.

I've tried a number of fax apps before but they just don't amount to the quality of this one. I would undoubtedly recommend this app to anyone that asks. I cannot stress this enough, the app is wonderful. Easy, simple, and beautiful. It is anything and everything you could ever ask for in an app. So stop reading this and go download it. It's risk free, and you won't regret it.

I haven't needed to fax in years, but found myself in a desperate pinch trying to get some legal docs filed on time. Faxing being my only possible option, and being years since Efax, etc app subscription days, after a review of top apps, THIS APP stood out for its abilities. A. It works immediately and B. you can pay for credits, via iTunes or in app purchase, Which made a huge time difference . I haven't compared literally 1 to 1 per page cost but I sent over 25 pages, and another 15 pages, for under $12 bucks, WHICH since I DONT NEED A MONTHLY SERVICE, is the cheapest I found. A local UPS Type pack and ship, was .90 a page so IDK, I attached a PDF file from iCloud(Another fast easy Mac to iPhone convenience- especially since OS Sierra removed fax capabilities natively) so using my MacBookpro to generate A+ pdf's then dump to iCloud then fax from this App, A+++! It was as FAST AS ANY SERVICE I've ever used in the past, and recipient, (in my case a Federal Clerk of Court) said all copies were crystal clear! AA++ App. If you fax everyday, maybe a subscription service might be beneficial, but for on the fly, this app is tops!

I spent money sending a fax for work. Money went, but fax did not. Got a confirmation from the application, but the receiver never got the fax. Double checked numbers and everything... still no answer from "customer support" either.

UPDATE*** I have contacted "customer" support, my first response from them was demeaning... saying "it's highly unlikely that it wasn't received at the other end." It shows the lack of "customer" support, when you have to politely call your customer a liar. They requested that I follow up again (now 10business days after I sent first fax), the receiver had still not gotten a my fax... yet, "customer" support was confident enough determining that I was lying, to send a second response saying that "per our system, the fax was delivered to the recipient." I guess you guys have it made when your "customer" support is really just there to defend your product and not actually solve customer issues. Sorry, but even Staples (despite taking almost 45min of my time) had actual customer service, and a fax machine that not only sent my items, but provided me a confirmation... guess not all apps can replace the real deal.

I purchased this service for the year thinking the reviews were real. There’s absolutely no way they are. Firstly, the company and staff are not in the U.S. so know that going forward. They’re in Europe. Secondly, there’s NO email confirmation set up for your fax unless you search for “history” and then type in your email. 3. You will get a very shoddy looking black report with white ink that will waste a ton of ink if you print it. 4. It literally took 1.5 hours for my 2 nine page faxes to go through to a fast fax system with the U.S. government. I sent them last night. I was told the email confirmation “can take a while” from the customer service.. Today, still no email confirmation. We went and hand faxed these documents by a land line phone fax service in person today because I have zero confidence they got there. I signed up for a year service (don’t do it!) and was ignored when I said I wanted a refund. I will now be disputing the charge with my CC company, something I haven’t had to do in about 5 years. I called and checked. The receiver did NOT revive either fax. This could have cost me my life. Thank God I knew to take it elsewhere.

So, once upon a time this app used to be a “pay as you go” app. You bought credits and sent faxes as needed. When I went to reload credits this time, I only had 1 option. The dreaded hook-digging “subscription service.” I send maybe 1-2 faxes every 2 years (if that), so a monthly fee for faxing nothing is absolutely ludicrous.

I completely understand that every single software driven model these days has turned into a revolving door of subscriber services. Having a healthy ARR/MRR is great for raising private equity capital (this company isn’t traded publicly). But for faxes? Come on! Apps like these should still continue to offer folks one-time fax credits, because people rarely need fax machines these days, and the app would provide value to a customer’s experience when this type of app is needed.

To the developers/owners of this app, please consider rolling out a graduated pricing scale for “pay as you go” customers. Set a minimum credit purchase, charge a bit more per page, offer break points (discounts) if you purchase more credits up front, and still hold onto the subscription based service for heavy users. You could have the best of both worlds, and an additional revenue stream to boot. Imagine that!

First let me tell you that I’m a programming specialist! I downloaded the app, purchased the credits necessary to send to recipient, and sent a document to a fax machine I was standing right by. Nothing went through and I received an email that it “Faulted”. I understand bugs and fixes completely. Everyone makes mistakes especially in programming. I tried contacting them to ask for my money back. They told me to check my notifications of the fax transaction again. I did and have proof that everything was typed correctly on my end but they refused to help me. It’s only $10 and all I had to do on my end is enter a fax number and attach a document. I think I got this. Well I tried to get a refund through itunes.com/bill but the transaction had no transaction I.D. which is required to initiate a refund on the internet. I will now go straight to a support specialist but have to wait for the support hours of operations. If I could give them a zero I would. This developer has created so much problems from the program all the way to customer service. I’m sorry this is so long but I am tired of lazy, insufficient, and horrible service from people. Don’t download this application because if it doesn’t work, you will not get support from the app developer.

Wow, this app would have saved me a ton of hassle when I had fax a bunch of documents to my doctor a few months ago... So it's true that people don't use faces much anymore, but when you find yourself needing to send something quickly to your doctor (like I did), a government office, or your school, then finding a fax machine is like pulling teeth. I had to search for ages to find one!

The app is pretty simple to understand. Just put in the number you want to send the fax to and then you can attach your document or picture. You can also take a picture of a physical document to send. Beats scanning haha.

Another great thing is that when you attach a document or picture it shows you exactly what it will look like on the other end. Very helpful if you want to make sure that something shows up correctly, especially anything with a picture. Text is usually pretty safe but you'll want to make sure that your background isn't too dark.

I was playing around and found out that you can actually send documents from apps like google docs. Any app that will allow you to open documents into other apps will work. That's so cool!

When you go to send your document it will tell you how many credits it takes and allow you to purchase credits. I'll gladly pay a little bit to not have to go on a mod goose chase for a fax again.

This application is very simple and straightforward; you’re paying for a service to send a fax. They offer several subscription options based on your needs, all of which can be easily canceled at any time. I enjoy being able to send a fax at 10pm while in bed instead of wasting one second of my time driving, waiting in line, and standing around while waiting for confirmation of receipt.

Here are some things I saw in the reviews that I feel obligated to address:

It’s not free, it’s subscription based.

You can cancel the subscription in your phone settings under ‘manage subscriptions’, not in the app. (iPhone users)

You can only send 50 pages at once. If you need to send more than 50 pages, chunk it up into smaller batches.

Bugs exist in every application. The developers do a great job fixing the bugs and staying active in the version history and constantly ask for reports/feedback.

You can send a cover letter. You can preview all pages of your fax. You get receipt confirmations.

You can get your own fax number and receive a fax (if you pay for this feature)

It is reliable. If a fax doesn’t go though it will keep attempting up to 6 times or so. If a fax doesn’t get received it’s likely the fault of the recipient, not this app.

On average it takes about 1-2mins per page of your fax to send.

This app is not a scam, you pay for a service and it works. It has made my life much easier and it is worth every penny.

Stole my money and ignored me. Began paying for the weekly subscription, then I thought i actually liked this app so i CANCELED the original weekly subscription and bought the yearly subscription $105.99 to be exact. I work a lot and am not constantly tracking my Apple charges since I’ve never had an issue before. It was about a month before i realized The app continued to charge me weekly as well even though i canceled this subscription and in fact, paid them more for the yearly. I contacted Apple to get a refund for all these weeks i was over charged and they only refunded a few of the transactions instead of them all and then a month or so later the app is telling me i need to purchase a new subscription to the app. Keep in mind MY YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION IS STILL ACTIVE TO THIS DAY. It does not expire until 2023. But they will not allow me to send any more faxes. I spoke to this “support” they try to present like they will help you and they blame it on Apple. I call Apple and they tell me due to the time frame Apple cannot issue the refund even though they say themselves the app should be free for me to use since i have already paid and they can see the active subscription on their end. I continue trying to get in contact with this support section of the app and they began telling me their manager woudl assist and no one comes for weeks . They took my money , including the initial over charged subscriptions that all were NOT refunded , and then cheated me out of my yearly subscription by trying to force me to pay again and RESTRICTING ME FROM SENDING FAXES, while my subscription is still currently active. I have screenshots of everything. Wasted over 140+ on this app. DO NOT DOWNLOAD

I bought this app to send ONE fax. I didn’t get that ONE fax to be received. SO frustrating. So Saturday, the next day I decided to go to Office Depot where my fax sent without issue. I will add that I used my hotspot to take my tablet with me to Office Depot and it was still “sending the fax”. This app never worked. I paid $10 for nothing. Wow! These people must be ecstatic to get money from scamming people.

I’m a little angry/annoyed! Apparently if you own (3) items that have a phone number, your required to pay (3) subscriptions. Either pay for all three (3) or no Fax period. I do not understand why I HAVE TO paid (3) separate subscription if I only use the App on one device. Be very careful. You will be paying based on how many devices you own. Personally, I decided to cancel mine.
PS: throw away $200, because of triple charges.

I used to love this app. You would pay $10.00, or less, and they would turn it into credits for pages faxed. For as infrequently we need to fax things these days, it was so helpful. Every company wants a monthly subscription now! It’s insane. I don’t fax enough to pay $10.00 every month.
Please consider bringing back your program of allowing people to buy credits to use to fax. I was at least spending more at your company than I will now.

I send a few faxes a year because medical still uses ancient tech. My previous rating on this app was 5 stars. I am uninstalling the app forever once I submit this review.

They used to have a pay as you go style model but now it’s a subscription. Why don’t you offer both?! Sure, I’d pay $1 - $2 per fax, but in no way am I going to spend $9.99 to send a single fax!

You need a daily subscription. Sadly, goodbye and I no longer recommend this app.

The rates per credit should be revealed prior to buying credits. I spent an extra $6 than I had to because I didn't know the rate exchange.

In total, I purchased $22 worth of credits to send a single fax and it did not work. I contacted the receiver and nothing was sent through. I'm not pleased that I spent money on this app and the service did not work.

I also used the in-app contact support center and I received no response.

I will not use this app again.

The APP is free but it is 7.99 per Week! to send even a couple of pages. I was in a rush and didn’t have time to shop around but it really would be nice is they let you send a couple of pages as a trial and then if you need to send a lot of pages or use often then start charging, like some other apps do.
What a pain now I have to figure out how to cancel the fee. $8 for one fax just so I don’t have to drive to Fedex store and get corona.

I subscribed for a monthly package yesterday. Money came out of account and still have not been able to use app. Keeps saying buy subscription. I purchased on App Store on my phone I never log out of phone. Customer support says I don’t have an active subscription. Sent them the confirmation email for purchase and reply was to make sure I was logged into account I made purchase with. Well duh I am logged in because I don’t have any other accounts and still not working.

Do not waste your time with this app. Notice that the majority of these 5 star reviews have the same theme in the username handle (lowercase first name, hyphen, uppercase last name). They are all fake. You cannot use the app for free. It will require a purchase of credits to send a fax, but it WILL NOT send the fax when you attempt to use the credits. Ignore the fake reviews here and see the real user comments on their FB page. No one was able to send a fax after purchasing the credits.

This app does not work and the app continues to try and charge my card. I can’t download any other apps because this FAX app is stuck in my pending purchase for $20. My sister apps doesn’t work and it doesn’t work either... I refuse to put a card payment in until I get this straightened out. This makes me want to get rid of my iPhone all together and go back to Samsung. It’s forcing me to give it at least one star. This is false. I’m very irritated no one has money to waste (not me anyway)!

If I could have given this app no stars I would have! This app is horrible it wants money just to send a few pages. I needed to fax some pages, they had to charge me for it and it stated that it sent. However 24 hours later they still did not receive those documents! This app is unreliable and useless! I contacted the app developer and he couldn’t do anything about it! Typical story!

Spent $50 on credits because I needed to fax lots of medical records to my son's doctor. Doctor needed them right away to review before an appointment. The app took my $ and credits, but the fax NEVER WENT THROUGH. No explanation or failed to send message; just a never-ending "sending" status...called doctor's office to check - nothing was ever received. Used the "Contact Support Team" feature in the app and told them it was urgent, but NO REPLY.

UPDATE: Thank you for the refund. For whatever reason, the app does not work.

Needed to send an fax quick. Decided to try an App. This one seemed to be one of the best rated.
The write up in the App Store is misleading. You have to buy "credits" but you are not informed that a credit is not equal to a fax or fax page.
When I used the app, it failed to deliver. What's worse is you can't get to your document to resend it.
The app also locked up my iPad and interrupted the operation of the button on the face of the iPad.
It's time for Apple to hold its vendors accountable and force refunds for dissatisfied customers.

I needed to fax an important document to my work so I downloaded this app trusting that it was going to do the job. I received a confirmation through Fax that my Fax was delivered however my work NEVER received my fax. After checking the number making sure I made no mistakes it still did not work and I was still charged. I tried to reach out to support on two different days and never received a response and still have not heard from them! Wasted money and a waste of time! If any of the support team is reading this please try and make this right with me!

believing that i would be able to fac one document, i had a delay in delivery. not to mention their subscription immediately charged me and i contacted customer support to retract this before it overdrafts my account. absolutely terrible customer support as they will use policy to manipulate and not refund. they instead stated my fax sent and prevented me from refunding the subscription service. i cannot have delayed faxes not to mention be kept in the dark about IF MY FAXES EVEN SEND. poor poor service and even poorer interface/ease of use on this app.

You can't maintain a list of your sent documents by identifying the by title or actual document. The only way to maintain a list of faxed documents is by phone number. Price per document to be sent is not disclosed until you are about to send the document--no price transparency. The reviews are inflated and seem fake. They do not offer reassurance of security in transmitting document. They don't convey a trustworthy app. Do your research before purchasing a faxing mobile app--I regret not looking more closely into the other apps. Who knows if my document even made it through...

Apple text says this app costs $2.99 for 50 credits. But the app itself charges a minimum of $5.99. After paying $5.99, the credits never appeared on my screen. I was not able to send my fax on time. Now I have to waste more time trying to figure out how to get a refund. And hunt down another faxing app.

You responded. But you did not address the issue I am talking about. the problem is not with faxing itself. It’s with getting the credits. Also I DID write to the address you wrote but nobody has responded. Also I doubt Apple is charging a three dollar tax on a $2.99 item. Anyway I don’t care I want my money back. Give me my money back now

So I’ve used this app in the past no trouble. It was great. Recently I sent a fax. It piped up that I had 3 days free then to subscribe for a week. Cancel anytime. After the first day I tried to cancel.. there was no place to do so. Then I was charged $5:99 plus $69:99 fraudulently. I wouldn’t recommend this app unless you want to be scammed.

Update.

Please call your bank also after you’ve called Apple because the app keeps trying to withdraw money from your account. I had to get fees reversed from my bank and get a new card because the app after I got it cancelled from Apple, kept trying to take the money out of my account. Also suddenly I started getting random telemarking calls. One wonders about the correlation.

Do not get me wrong, this app used to be 5 stars for me because I had the ability to purchase credits and send faxes as needed. It had a great plan for purchasing credits and it definitely helped me save money while also providing excellent service.

Today though, I go to send a fax and now it’s asking me to purchase a subscription of weekly, monthly, or yearly. $10 per week? I do not use this app often so I feel the prices they are asking for this is ridiculous! And if that’s the case, what happened to all those credits I purchased previously? Is it nonexistent now? If so, all those credits I purchased are now wasted if I have to pay for a subscription just to send a few pages.

Please bring back the credit option or a pay as you go option for people like us! Thank you.
