I purchased a 2017 Hyundai Tucson on 04/07/2026.
On 05/16/2026 the vehicle sprouted a coolant leak and with parts and labor was repaired for $242.48 by my mechanic paid for by me.
On 04/27/2026 the vehicle was brought in for service there was a loud noise coming from the engine... a repair was attempted on that day.
The vehicle was brought back in for the loud noise again on 04/29/2026.
I was then told the problem was with the tension belt and there will be a $200 fee to replace the belt.
After several hours of debate with the North Houston Store/Service Manager they agreed to repair at there cost.
On 05/23/2026 the vehicle was bought in and had the catalytic converter replaced at my cost of $350.00.
On 05/30/2026 was taken back in for the repair of the Knock sensor and the ABS break sensor for $248.98 labor, $55.82 for the sensor and $28.50 for the Knock sensor.
I was told by the store manager to bring the vehicle back in for a trade off...
I also told the store manager that I didn't want to play the numbers game where they would just add the price of the previous purchase onto the bottom line.
I was told to come in on 05/29/2026 to pursue the would be trade in.
After 6 hours of waiting for appraisal and seeking a better quality vehicle.
I was asked to put an addition $7000.00 down to secure the purchase.
Bare in mind I put $4000.00 down on the original purchase.
That was a NO DEAL.
In addition there two tows to the mechanic shop at my expanse.
