Eastes review: transfer duty refund

We were in the process of purchasing a property in 2016 but the the seller and agent did not disclose that there was severe damp. We had already paid over R 42 000.00 of transfer duty to the attorney Eastesinc. The transfer was cancelled.

We have been chasing our money for the last 2 years now. SARS has issued a letter last year to Raymond confirming how to retrieve the refund via e-filing . To date, we have still not received our monies. We followed up again with SARS last week and they advised us that he is the only one that can release it. We can't even go to SARS to claim our monies back.

We have followed up with emails months after months and even had a lawyer to assist us. It has costed us lots of money to try and resolve this matter but just no luck.

We have record of all emails, attorneys letters and correspondence.

In February I called to follow up and was sworn by Raymond. He said we can report him he doesn't care.

We are pleading for help. How do we go about trying to resolve this matter. Raymond has even deducted R 22000 of wasted costs.
