Every so often people are fortunate enough to have an opportunity to work with outstanding individuals who take not only pride in what they do but take time to ensure that those they serve to receive the best support possible: honest, reliable, intelligent, and hardworking. Though all those qualities exist in you both, the last was most apparent during the final days of completing the arduous task of finalizing the refinancing of our home. Working out-of-state was a difficult task made harder by the strict financing laws of Texas. Undaunted, your team stayed with the demands and the reporting for almost four months. Given an additional complication dealing with our, then, existing mortage company whose internal organization was slow, no, make that very slow, in responding to payoff requests which in the end cost us an additional interest point due to their ongoing delays. However, through it all, your team kept working and persevered and we are extremely happy with our new financing. We could not recommend any higher your team to others. Your skills, your abilities to stick with it, your calming personalities (when we were most worried), and your drive to "get it done." was most impressive. We are happy, no, make that very happy to have had you by our side.

I just want to give an honest review of my experience with E-Mortgage Capital. In July 2022 we decided to refinance. Our goal was to pay off a little credit card debt and also have some cash for home improvements. So, we first called our current mortgage company at the time Rocket Mortgage and we were told to get what we wanted they would have to convert our VA to a conventional loan. The representative at Rocket Mortgage said "your going to get a lot of calls so just ignore them". I did politely tell each individual who called that we were just fine. Then *** from E Mortgage Capital greeted me and his first words are a guarantee we can do better. Guarantee? What? Okay I gotta see this. Why not shop around it's my money and time, right? Then I spoke to *** and gave him some basic information and he came back with a VA, lower interest rate, no points, and more cash out. WHOA! So glad that I talked with ***, *** and the entire group at E-Mortgage. They really do their research and want to know their clients. *** was incredibly patient and through. My mortgage was paid off, we skipped two payments, cash out, lower interest rate and most importantly stayed with a VA loan. Happy E Mortgage customer and will probably never go back to Rocket Mortgage again!

My name is Roland Awah and I recently got my home mortgage refinanced with loan officer Ameer Katifi at E Mortgage Capital. So about a month go was the first time I heard about a VA Loan Refinance program for a rate of as low as 2.75% if approved. I honestly felt it was one those scams out there trying to get my money and I just couldn't believe this until Mr. Ameer explained carefully what the program was and how effectively the program has helped many families save money and equally make lower fixed APR payments. Through out the next three weeks communicating with Mr. Ameer, I grew confidence of the refinance program and because Mr. Ameer really acted in the most professional manner. He responded promptly to my questions either via emails or telephone and made this process very seamless. On closing day just last week, Mr. Ameer helped my family save almost $9K and also we got our home mortgage rate dropped from 4.12% to 2.75% 30 years fixed rate. I want to encourage anyone out there who has a VA loan and want a better or lower fixed 30 years APR to get with Mr. Ameer Katifi for assistance because he is talented and true loan professional. In just over three weeks, we got the best fixed home mortgage rate ever thanks to E Mortgage Capital and Ameer Katifi in particular for getting the job done as promised.

What can I say about Tara *** she is the best. I have known Tara for many years. Her Dad is my friend and was my boss. When my husband died,Tara was there to help. She knew I was struggling with house payments without my husbands salary. She sat with me for hours and explained to me that a reverse mortgage was the way to go. The reverse mortgages had changed drastically over the years in a good way. I would still own my house be able to live in it without having to make another mortgage payment. I remember I was so skeptical.Tara was so patient with me. I would call her all hours and ask some silly question. She again was so patient and would explain it again. I finally did the reverse and have been so happy with my decision. With the help of Tara she made it so easy. 18 months later she called and said let's do a refi on your reverse. I said you can't do that. Oh silly me. You can do that. So we did it again. This helps to lower the interest rate and also get some cash out if the house. It has now been another 18 months and this time I called her and said can I do another refi to lower the interest rate. Really didn't think we could do it again. Not only did Tara help me again, but she held my hand through the whole process again. I just signed the papers my interest rate will go down and I can pull more cash out of my house. This has been the best decision I have ever made and Tara helped me through all of it. If in doubt give Tara a call she is very knowledgeable and so passionate about her work. Love her to pieces."

I cant recommend using this company. The process was long and difficult. The first loan processor I was assigned to, *** B, took forever to respond to my calls or emails. Then after waiting for almost 2 weeks, I find out she quit. So I was assigned to another person, *** C, who was a lot more helpful throughout the process. I wouldnt recommend them, because after we signed our closing, they still continued to ask for paystubs even after signing closing paperwork. They asked me how much money I had in my savings, if I could send them statements, and if I could afford to make payments on my bills prior to closing based on what was in my savings account. Of course I can make payments if they already saw my paystub along with my wifes. It was already hard enough dealing with a pandemic going on, let alone someone asking if you can afford to pay your ***, not once have I not paid my bills. Another thing is, they agreed to pay off my credit cards and personal loan and send my creditors payments directly to them. Well once the loan was closed, they mailed me multiple checks that took almost 2 week for me to receive, just for me to mail out to my creditors, which was very time consuming and now I had to make sure my payments got paid on time after waiting for these checks to come. Their first reason for the delay was because of the holiday, then their second reason was the title company delaying the process. There were multiple times I wanted to find another company to work with after all this hassle, so I cant recommend them, I give them 2 stars.

I would like to share my dream like experienced working with Nico S Mortgage Expert with E Mortgage Capital, Inc. It was my experience that getting any type loan was tedious and complicated. Getting refinancing for my home was a big decision. It was a nerve wrecking undertaking because companies were not in my local area. Initially I went to a a very large Banking Institution to refinance my home. I chose them because of their branch in my neighborhood. The bank processed my loan application and checked my credit history. Two days later, I was bombarded with postcards from loan companies. The bank is not offering any cash out. I was broken. It was time for me to choose from companies in remote locations. I picked up the postcards from Loan companies, read online reviews. Finally, I took the courage to pick up the phone and call E Mortgage Capital Inc. I spoke to Nico S about my interest in refinancing and cash out. I was impressed the way he presented himself over the phone. His tone was very professional. He explained The Refinance Process and What to Expect. He and his underwrite Nicole made themselves available to me via any method of my choice - email, business phone or cell phone. which I appreciated and took advantage of. I submitted my loan application online on January 21 after 5 PM. My loan was funded on Feb 17 2021. I am very thankful for Nico S professional, responsive and honest assistance with the whole mortgage process from beginning to end. I would highly recommend Nico S to anyone. M *** Homeowner

Was my first home buying experience and the worst experience ever. My loan officer *** would leave out important info needed and was not very good at communicating with me. I was promised a 30 day closing and didn't get the clear to close until 20 days after the closing date. Communicating with this company was very poor. When I finally got a clear to close I was not told and had to find out through my own realtor that I was clear to close, she told me that I would not get anymore information because the loan personal was only communicating with her. I would be asked for paperwork to verify information that I would give to them the same day only for it to take days for them to process and come back saying they needed more verification paperwork. It got to the point the seller of the home I was to purchase tried to back out of our contract because of this company not communicating and making good on their word of 30 day closing. My loan rep asked me to follow him from a different company(***) and when I told him I didn't want to follow him anymore he continued to process my paperwork through E Mortgage capital with out letting me know that was what he was doing. He was vague when answering my questions making it unclear for me to know which company I was moving forward with. Moving forward I will never work with this company again nor will I refer them to anyone I know. I am an active duty service member and my experience with this company has left me unsettled. No ones firt time buying a home should go the way my experience went with this company.

I had the opportunity to work with *** as my lender. *** is one of the Mortgage Experts of E Mortgage Capital. I first worked with *** when I refinanced my previous property. I find him very experienced and on top of the whole refinance process. He was very professional and knew what he was doing. After I sold my previous property, *** helped me with my mortgage for the purchase of the new property. He was very responsive in all of my inquiries via email or texts. He always provides informed answers to all my questions as quickly as possible. He helped me from the beginning to the closing of the loan process. He even went beyond my expectations by assisting me avail of the benefit of Proposition 19. *** made the process faster for the Proposition 19 application by reaching out to the right person for me. The whole loan process was easy and how quickly he made things done and great rates with low costs. I was very confident that *** will process the whole mortgage deal in less time with no headaches. My overall experience with E Mortgage Capital was great. Thank you so much, ***, for your excellent service. I will definitely recommend E Mortgage Capital for people who would need a company to help them with their mortgage. And for those who need a lender to assist them with their mortgage process, I highly recommend ***. He is an expert and will provide you with quality service. Our loan officer was ***. And *** When he first contacted us, (we were not looking to refinance at all) we told him we were not interested in taking any money out in our house. Only lowering our rate. He told us we had to pay off 2 loans to get it approved and we agreed to that and again stated that we didn't want to take any money out of equity. At signing the notary told us that the $19000 was being sent to us to pay those bills off. I questioned it a few times as that was not what it looked like and she assured us that was the case. When it was all said and done the bills were paid and we had taken out an extra $19k in equity. I'm sure that resulted in higher commotion for ***. At that point the loan had taken months already so we decided to keep it. Here the final straw for us. I also made it very very clear to *** on many occasions that I absolutely did not want to refinance my home if I couldn't not keep my biweekly payments as it took us a long time to get them set up. He assured me over and over that would not be a problem. Well guess what. The loan company we were placed with does not do them! Of course they don't! Why would one thing that was promised from him be true. When we signed the authorization for our appraisal is was for a range that did not excced $650 and without notice my bank was charged $860. When I asked about it he said that would be refunded back to us via PayPal. And that never happened . Of course that was not in writing. *** learned. Then when I called 3 times to file a complaint my name and number with this exact story was taken to be passed on to the *** and not one time was that call returned. I'm honestly so disappointed and utterly disgusted that this is actually allowed. Our closing costs jumped from our original lending agreement. I'm assuming because the loan amount jumped. Everything was done over the phone and a lot of runarounds. Just be careful. I doubt I will ever get this resolved or even have our concerns validated at this point as it's been so long.

I have been pushing back refinancing my home for a couple of years due to my busy schedule, until my sister called me and highly recommended Bryan from EMortgage Capital. At first I was hesitant because I was dreading the paperwork and the long process.but then I met Bryan over the phone. He answered all my questions, addressed all my concerns, and was able to get a good rate for me. We started the process during the first week of October, I submitted all the requirements to Bryan via email. He would always keep me updated and if I had any questions, he would always respond within minutes. He is very professional and knowledgeable, even taking the time to explain to me certain terms that I did not understand. By the 2nd week of October, Bryan and Danielle sent me the Loan Estimate via email. They made the process so easy, they were very patient with me, and I didn't have to drive to their office. They made the process very convenient for me and I was able to do everything after my working hours. Bryan explained to me all my options, his recommendations, and made sure I understood everything before I signed any document. On the 3rd week of October, I received great news from Danielle and Bryan that we were cleared to close! They scheduled a mobile notary for me to meet me at my house to officially sign the documents. I met the mobile notary, and she was very pleasant as well. She's very professional and anticipates the needs of her client. Everything was completed without me leaving the house/driving to their office. Finally on the last week of October, the loan was officially funded! Everything went smoothly, all thanks to Bryan, Danielle, and to the whole team of EMortgage Capital! I am so impressed with their professionalism and knowledge! Most importantly, they made me feel comfortable approaching them and asking them questions regarding my loan. As a matter of fact, Bryan even encouraged me to contact him even on a weekend while he was at a family event, and he was willing to answer all my questions before the notary came to my house. He made sure I was comfortable signing the documents and all my concerns had been addressed. Bryan really went above and beyond for me. I highly recommend Bryan P and Danielle W! I really had a great experience with their company. Thank you so much, Bryan and Danielle for taking care of me! You will always be on the top of my mind for any mortgage/refinancing needs.

I applied for a refinance loan with eMortgage Capital on 10/7 based upon advertising that they could close my loan in *** days. On Oct. 26, I contacted them because I had heard nothing from them and no appraisal had been scheduled. They said they would schedule an appraisal and the loan would close within a week of the appraisal being done. I authorized an appraisal for $1175 conditioned on the loan being able to close in that time frame. The appraisal was done on Nov. 2. Despite repeated assurances that the loan would close within a week of the appraisal, that never happened, In addition, my rate lock expired and eMortgage Capital was asking me to pay an additional $700 to maintain the rate that I had been promised. I refused to pay the $700 because the delay in closing loan was due to eMortgage Capital's delays, not mine, canceled my loan application and asked for a refund of the $1375 that they charged me for the appraisal. They have refused to refund my money.

When I first spoke to ***, I confirmed to her if there are no out of the pocket costs and she said yes. I reiterated it in my emails with her.We started December , signed docs, VOE's and mid Jan. 2021, she told us we need to pay for the appraiser. I told her, you said no out of the pocket for us. I even saw it in the documents that the appraiser fee was part of the closing costs. She said to pay it and it will be refunded with the loan. I asked if there is a possibility we will be turned down. She did not answer. And then the appraiser came back with a lower appraisal than expected. She made me wait for 3 weeks, made me wait for her reply and now I am pleading for a refund and she said she won't refund even if she said there wasn't supposed to be out of the pocket costs. I sent her another email and she has not replied anymore. SHE WAS NOT HONEST WITH ME. She knew I would back out had she told me the truth about the appraisal fee! She has to refund me as promised!

Promo letter mailed - 0 appraisal, 0 origin, 0 underwriting fees - Called spoke to the loan officer ***, we discussed all this info - locked in rate of 2.62 - PI 1787 + escrow $2242 - no fees - got appraiser wavier. Sent all req docs, pulled my credit, I cancelled my other loan in good faith of our verbal and CD from emortgage capital. Few days go by, I follow up, then the entire loan changes, fees everywhere total over 8k. Buying points 6K, Processing fee 1195, underwriting fees 1295, warehouse fees and wire fees. I reached out to *** to discuss all the fees and his response was "I dont understand how you dont realize how good of a deal your getting, their not making money on my loan and he is not going to eat to do my loan." I asked to speak w/VP and he advise she wont call. I have the original mailer and all the text messages saved ready to send to whomever may need them. Businesses shouldn't be allow to advertise & not be accountable to honor their agreement.

We decided to go with E Mortgage Capital when we refinanced our home. In the beginning we started to work with one individual but was eventually her position got eliminated. Then we started to work with *** from E mortgage ***. We let her know all our information and what we wanted to do with during our refinance and how we needed to change the Title during the process of refinance. She told us she will take care of it and we consistently let her know that the title change was a priority. Well it came closing day and the title didn't get changed. We asked *** to change it but she insisted that we needed to close that day and we couldn't loose the loan where it was at. She said during the process after we closed on the loan she would reach out to the title company to change the title and not worry it would get fixed. Well it has been about 3 months and we call, email and try to get ahold of her and she doesn't answer any emails or calls. Furthermore, after closing of the loans we have received no information on payment on the loan, received no call once everything was processed. NOTHING. I had to look up our old loan paid to and call to inquire on our loan and if it were due. Luckily I did that as our mortgage was due that week. We had no communication when our loan closed from ***. Now she is ignoring us so we have to pay someone to change the title when she told us that it was going to be done during the loan process. She did not follow through on her commitment to our needs during the loan and she failed at communicating anything important to us. I am very disappointed in this company and the commitment that they failed upon with us!
