Dream Finders Homes review: Warranty repair

On 12/21/2021 I purchased a home that Dream Finders Builders just completed. The 3-panel slider was not functioning correctly. It required 2 or more people to open and close it. When I wanted to delay the closing Dream Finders indicated they would resolve the issue along with a few other items on the punch list. They did resolve the punch list items but only adjusted the door. The door still was not functioning correctly. After over 100 emails with multiple people but mostly with Angie Currall and Grace Kelley the door still was not functioning properly. They sent out the wrong parts 2 times and their people only attempted to adjust the door. Angie then had the warranty company close my case. I contacted the door supplier, Builders First Source. They had the door manufacturer representative, Larry, come and assist the situation. He concluded that parts on the bottom track were missing and not installed, and the wheels were damaged as a result. The door was not installed correctly. The proper parts were ordered and a contractor that was recommended by the supplier installed the parts, and the door is now functioning correctly. The cost of the parts and contractor was $1,135.61. When I contacted Angie Currall at Dream Finders for reimbursement, she told me the case was closed and I used a third party to repair the door. I had no choice since they were not going to come out and repair the door any longer. This is a repair that should have been under the initial new home warranty. My complaint seems to be part of a long list of others that Dream Finders seem to be doing the same thing too. They do not repair and stand by their product. I would like reimbursement for my warranty item that was not installed correctly.
