Ripoff
I have tried numerous times to get in contact with someone from this company. We began our contract with you in the beginning of June and we had moved our RV, dome building, tools and other personal items on to the property. We had cleared off a space and we were going to begin building when my wife and I fell ill with covid in Oct. this put us out of work for a little while and we fell behind with our bills. We were 27 days behind when we went to our property and were approached by our neighbors whom had guns and we were forced to leave the property and all of our belongings because he said he bought our property and everything on it. We were never notified of any eviction or that we were fixing to lose everything. We contacted authorities and they were going to allow us to have our things until the supposed new owner told the authorities that he papers stating that you guys sold the property and all of our contents to him. Now we have to go to court. All I wanted was my things back,

I bought a piece of property in an action, I sent my down payment and doc fees as instructed. When I received the land contract, it had restrictions that prevents the buyer from using the land until it is 50% paid for (or the first 10 years). That means you can not do any more then to visit the property for the first half of the contract (20 year contract). This was not disclosed to the bidders, and when asked by e-mail never answered prior to the end of the action. When I requested the down payment returned I received nothing, I have made more then 40 calls, with no answer, or return call. I have sent 3 register letters that were received but not return letters. All my e-mails go unanswered. The property statement on the action site said it had a well, and septic on the property, however there is none. If this is not a scam, what would you call it?
I just won a bid for a 9 acre land in the national forest oregon from Keith Thompson and was very excited. I've been looking for such property for awhile with no luck I've made arrangements with him on when I can start the buying process. I haven't paid anything on it yet nor did I sign any documents. Before I was going to do that, I had to look them up since people alway say, if it's too good to be true. ... so I'm reading all these reviews and let just say I'm no longer excited just very concerned. My intuition says NO if there are any doubts and trust me, with lots of complaints, there are definitely doubts. I think I'll hold off til I get a hold of better business bureau. What do you all think?
Do not buy land from Keith thompson.. he is a crook and will sell you property you can't even stand on.. bought a property from him a year ago.. I arrived June 6th 2021 to a six foot hole a septic tank Nd trees torn down on my property.. I could not do Nothing with my land cause part of my property was already permitted for that next door land owners tank.. next thing ya know 4 days after arriving the sherrifs were called on me and i was threatened by 2 officers to be arrested if i did not leave the land i purchased..septic company and land owner don't give a care I'm out 2200$ my septic could not be put in my prefab home could not be delivered.. all my belongings have been ruined.. and I am now taking every single person involved to court.. Keith thompsons a crook and will use the law enforcement to threaten people off the land he's collected thousands on.. I now will be suing him for every penny I he paid on this property.. if you have been screwed over by him his company or anyone associated with him i urge you to file theft charges file court cases and file better business burden and consumer affairs reports..

I won an auction (for down payment) on a 9 acre property near Beaty Oregon that merrit creek runs through. Right after the close of the bidding and my bid of 720. Had won, the site crashed and is not back up yet so I can't pay my down payment or my fees or get in touch with anyone. I would like to have the property I won the down payment for but I feel like the site being down right at auction closing was on purpose because Mr. Thompson wanted someone else to get that property instead of me. I would like an explanation and to have the property I won the down payment bid for. This is the second time something has gone wrong with a bid I've won on your site. Why is that? It seems as though there's something fishy going on here and I'm going to find our what's going on. The instability in the country is getting worse and I want to move to my own land in the middle of nowhere that has a creek, trees with no neighbors and at least 5-10 acres. and I need to do it FAST.
We have a full contract and the land we have been purchasing is actually registered to a ladies name with the last name of Thompson not the person who created the contract. I am filing a complaint with the state and with the county to let them know this site exists and so they can see how many people have been screwed by these people!
I have also been taken by this place and have recently noticed they were attempting to sell the same chunk of land we have been paying on . I am all for a class act suit if anyone else is?

We sell hundreds of properties every year and have over a 99% customer satisfaction. Every now and then we get a complaint that just doesn't make any sense. Let me address each of your points:
1. You may build from day one of owning the property and do not have to have it 50% paid and this is stated in the agreement.
2. Your payment was promptly returned by Paypal when you expressed reservations about how the financing works. It was returned by Paypal under transaction ID 9YH17968W4239951P. Not one phone call or registered letter has been received as there was no need with the payment being returned.
3. The listing clearly states that a well and septic may be installed if desired, NOT that it currently has one.
Again, I am not sure why you felt the need to write this complaint as none of what you have said is true. We are in business to ensure our clients are happy over the long run which is why we give a one year exchange privilege on any property that is purchased.
