I am writing to formally express my frustration and disappointment with D.R. Horton regarding the condition of my driveway and their ongoing failure to take responsibility for necessary repairs.
I purchased my home approximately three years ago, and the driveway has already begun to crack, delamination, scaling and show significant signs of failure far sooner than would be expected for a new property. I have contacted D.R. Horton multiple times to address the issue, but they have repeatedly refused to take any corrective action, claiming the problem is not covered or otherwise dismissing my concerns.
This is unacceptable. A properly constructed driveway should not be deteriorating this quickly, and it raises serious questions about the quality of materials and workmanship used throughout the property. Unfortunately, this is just one of many problems I’ve experienced since moving in & further evidence that D.R. Horton is failing to stand behind their product and fulfill their obligations to homeowners.
