My DistroKid subscription is paid through July 2027, but I have been unable to distribute new releases since September 17, 2026.

I received a notification about a problem with one release and promptly corrected it. This was an isolated issue, not deliberate or repeated misconduct. Nevertheless, distribution remains restricted across my account.

DistroKid claims that streaming platforms will no longer accept my releases but has not identified those platforms. Several services I contacted directly confirmed that my artist profile was not blocked. DistroKid has not explained this discrepancy.

Previously released music has also disappeared from platforms including iHeartRadio and Anghami. I have received no explanation of who initiated these removals, why they happened, or whether further removals are planned.

My previous support ticket was closed without resolving my complaint. Other replies repeated generic statements or promised to forward my case to another team. My repeated requests for a meaningful review, restoration, or a refund remain unresolved, and follow-up complaints have gone unanswered.
DistroKid did not notify me that my account’s distribution capabilities had been restricted. I only learned about the restriction after my new releases stopped progressing and I contacted support myself. Until then, I had received no warning or explanation, even though my subscription was paid and the account continued to accept uploads.

DistroKid has retained my subscription payment while restricting the service I paid for. I consider this treatment unacceptable.

I demand full restoration of distribution and all restricted account features, together with reinstatement of any otherwise compliant releases removed at DistroKid’s request. If DistroKid refuses to restore the service, I demand a full refund of my subscription payment, not a partial or prorated refund.

I also require clarification of the status of my existing catalogue and confirmation that all royalties owed to me remain accessible and payable.

Support tickets: #4814020 and #4831828.

Desired outcome: Full restoration of paid services and affected releases, or a full subscription refund, with all royalties owed remaining accessible and payable.

You have paid service until 2027 and a paper trail, so stop chasing individual tickets. Send one written demand referencing both tickets and ask for four things in writing: the exact platforms blocking you, the specific reason, confirmation of catalogue and royalty status, and full restoration or a full refund within 7 days. Screenshot your dashboard and download every royalty statement now. If they miss the deadline, dispute the subscription charge with your card issuer and file a complaint with your state attorney general and the FTC. Their silence becomes your evidence.

I already sent a written demand covering these points. DistroKid closed the ticket without resolving it. That is why I contacted them again, and they closed the next ticket too, leaving my questions unanswered.

I am not opening tickets instead of making a clear request. I am following up because they keep closing my requests without addressing them.

I also live in Germany, so “contact your state attorney general” is not an actionable instruction for me. Which specific office accepts complaints from German residents about DistroKid, and through which channel?

If you know a verified route, please share the direct link. Repeating the same demand to a company that keeps ignoring it has already failed.
