I saw Displate was havin' a sale for Easter, so I thought I'd grab some posters. But they didn't give me my discount and said they couldn't do nothin' 'bout it. Plus, they always seem to have sales goin' on, so I reckon they're just tryna lure ya in.

Displate is not worth the money. I got my first order and it was a total letdown. The quality was terrible. I wanted to return it, but the only address is in *** and the cost was more than what I paid for the poster. I tried to reach out to customer service, but they only respond to email and it took them forever to get back to me. They said the office in TX is too small to process returns. What a joke! They don't care about their customers at all. Don't waste your time or money on Displate.

Displate is a cool site that gives you a freebie if you sign up for a year. But the code they gave me didn't work and they won't give me my money back. They keep saying they're fixing it, but I'm still paying for nothing. They won't give me a refund or the thing I paid for.

I got two art pieces from Displate for a Christmas gift on 2021-12-17. The tracking number said it would come by 2021-12-23. The package came, but it had random stuff I didn't order. They charged me for the product and an extra *** for the unknown product. I contacted support, and they blamed the shipping company, but the package was fine.

This Displate company sent me two orders, but they were a bit different. I told them about it and asked to return the product, but they said I have to pay for shipping it back to ***! They have an office in ***, but they won't let me return it there. The double order wasn't a mistake. I only hit the submit button once. I did put both kinds in my cart to check the prices, but I didn't hit submit more than once. I think they should send me a return label, or at least let me return it to the US office. The cheapest way to ship it back to *** is $55, which is a lot compared to what I paid. The worst part is that they said they usually check for duplicate orders, but they didn't bother this time because of the one slight difference. So they knew it was a problem and didn't contact me before shipping!

I paid $126 for a big metal poster from Displate on 11/21 order #***. The size I got was "XL 35.4"x ***" I was so bummed when the poster arrived in four smaller pieces needing assembly. I went back to the website to figure out what I had done wrong. The item description on checkout never said "assembly required." I discovered too late that the small print on the bottom side of one of the thumbnails says "made from 4 M sized plates." All XL posters have a thin white plus sign over the thumbnail picture. When a customer clicks the magnify button to see the poster up close, those white grid lines disappear and the XL poster appears to be continuous. I relied on the image shown under magnification when I made my purchase. The product that was sent did not match the advertised product image OR the item description on checkout. To add insult to injury, Displate's website cheerily promises a "Happy Guaranteed or 100% refund" but they fail to mention the Catch 22 that many customers will face: exorbitant return shipping prices. Displate charged me $26 to have the poster shipped to the *** through *** The quotes I received from FexEx to return the poster to Displate's *** office (they have an office in Texax but refuse to accept returns there) was over $300. The cheapest option through *** or the *** was $160...MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL PRICE OF THE POSTER!. I had to spend another $77 to buy the next Displate size down in order to get a continuous poster for my son for Christmas. I've never felt so cheated by a company in my life. When I reached out to them they never apologized for the conflicting product descriptions and just tried to make me feel stupid for not realizing that the magnified image wasn't exactly what I was ordering. They should have at least told me that they would send me the next size down as a kind of settlement or act of goodwill. I intend to continue exploring all recourse options.
