On Sept 9, my Dad had a stroke, lost half of his vision. lost his speech, mobility and memory. I took my Dad to Emergency at Peter Lougheed Center in Calgary. My Dad does not speak English, he was not able to communicate. I parked in front of Emergency walked him in, sat him down, ran back to my vehicle to park. All the spots at hospital I could see were taken. and I did not see parking meter to pay at hospital as well, I did not have time to drive around in hospital parking lot trying to find a spot or meter to pay while my Dad had a risk of dying. I saw there was A LOT of parking cross street at Sunridge mall, I quickly parked there and ran back to hospital. Because of language barrier, and I was the only family there with my Dad, doctors and nurses did not let me leave until sometime in the PM after all the exams were done and he was admitted to hospital. I went to move my vehicle and noticed there was a parking ticket, because I did not go to the mall and walked off. I understand the rule, but in a situation my Dad was having a stroke, every minute is important to me. It was a time sensitive situation to save life. I submitted doctor's note as well as my Dad's discharge summary from PLC. However, this was not satisfied Diamond Parking, they denied my dispute, and asked me to pay. I have asked them to take my to court if they were not satisfied with my dispute. However, they simply replied and said denied, payment is due.
Desired outcome: Cancel the ticket. I think in such life threatening situation, it should be exempted. I attached Doctor's note here that I have already provided to Diamond Parking at time of dispute.

I have appealed dispute online but it got rejected. I have attached the pictures of product which i went to shoppers drug mart to pick up but they didn't have that product. It is actually a voucher which i purchsed around 3 weeks ago from shoppers drug mart and only shoppers has that and it came with the voucher where you have some perfume samplers and you can use the voucher to get your choice of perfume in bigger size. I went on that day to get the one i wanted but they said it is out of stock and come back so how can i have the receipt for that then. If you want you can ask the shopper drug mart if they are selling those products or not. I am living in NE since 2006 and i never received any ticket and i know whenever i have to go for any other business which is not related to sunridge parking then i don't park there. But trust me that day i went to mall but i only went to ask 1 question from the laboratory and i went to laboratory parking first but didn't find any parking then i thought okay i will come here first then i will go to the mall. If you guys don't trust me then give me a proof that i didn't go to mall. I am not guilty of whatever happened because i know i went to mall. And i am not paying the ticket because that is not fair if you are going to mall and you still get a ticket.
