CVS - night manager/staff verbally assaulting me defaming me by calling me gay 2:20am

Hi my name is vernon wheeler and I have been a customer of cvs for several years. I get all my medicine from this cvs because I am diabetic. Today wednesday around 2:20 am right after I told my spouse to cash app me 5$ more dollars to get a battery for my watch at 2:16 according to my call and cash app time stamp. I just got off work at 1:55am from a company right around the corner. If you look at your comers or you have sound in your store, I was standing at the first self-pay register near the main register. I was verbally assaulted and embarrassed by staff member stating that he was a manager at this cvs (cvs pharmacy 1826 chestnut st, philadelphia, pa 19103). I was attempting change my battery in my watch and I ask the employee if he had anything that I could use to get the battery out because I was having a hard time removing it. Once he said no, I continued to pay for my items. At which time when I was finished purchasing my item, I turned around and the gentleman was standing in my immediate space right next to me. I turned around and the employee and a female employee was standing really close to me while I was at the counter. I explained the gentleman and the young lady that they made me feel uncomfortable to which the young lady said that she was not here for that, she was purchasing a soda and held the soda up, and I apologized to her immediately for the misunderstanding that she was doing the same thing the male employee was doing, which was hovering near me in very close proximity at which time the employee said I am not looking at you I am on my phone at which time I said you moved from where you were standing to right behind me at which time he said I am not into men I do not like men! I then stated that what he was doing made me feel very uncomfortable. This time he said you like men I do not like men, at which time I stated, what does that have to do with you making me feel uncomfortable. Once again he stated again, you like men I dont like men. I then asked for his name because he was not wearing a name tag for the purpose of filing this complaint at which time the employee told me no he was not telling me his name. I ask the employee for a manager and he stated that he was the manager at which point the employee who was located at the last self-pay register by the door stated that he was a manager, he was the night manager as well. I then ask this employee, again was he a manager he told me that they all were managers and that he didn't have to give me his name either. Once again the second employee who stated that he was the night manager didn't have on a name tag either for me to identify to add to this complaint. The first employee/manager continued to get really abrasive and continued to call me a homosexual, at which point I stated this is how you treat customers. I told the employee that I was going to file a complaint and was told to go ahead and file the complaint, at which point I started to exit the store and the manager, proceeded in taunting manner saying over and over again that you like men you like men. At this point I was embarrassed and livid because there was the young lady that was the employee getting a soda that I apologized to and there was another employee that was on the isle in close proximity on the right hand side on the isle where the batteries are located on a step stool stocking. The employee/manager was still talking and we proceeded to exchange words which my words was really expletive and he proceeded to keep saying that you like men I dont like men defaming my character. At which point I exited the store and I called the 1-800 number trying to make the complaint and was told that I had to call back in the morning because the service was unavailable. I am a married man of 20 years with 3 grown boys and was totally offended an embarrassed that this man was defaming my name. This employee didn't care if there was other customers in the store or not. He was really ignorant and very loud trying to embarrass me and I am very offended and very discussed. I have sent this information to my lawyer already and informed the lawyer to make sure he has the cameras pulled to verify the incident. I have never in my life been so belittled and demeaned! I am mentally disappointed that someone who represents such a prominent establishment such as{cvs} would disrespect, belittle and question a customer's sexuality in front of others as well as on the time of this establishment. This has really put a dark cloud over my great respect for customer service at this store and I am woefully disappointed that I was treated like this by not one employee but two. Wow what's the odds. Respectfully sumbmitted by mr vernon wheeler
