Be aware, big scam! I was charged with almost 400 euros eventually. I found out the hard way and they didn't even give me back the 17 euros they had charged minutes before I contacted them. They use templates to reply to the emails as they don't care at all about your concern. I had to cancel my card too but I'm not sure I'm protected still.

After I started sharing reviews, two days later I was refunded with the amount of 14 months I had paid, while they had been talking money for 22 months. I had contacted my bank and told them about this service, and possibly the bank gave me the money (not all) back. Whilst I'm not sure that's the case, as the amounts seem to was given by the cvmaker and I read another's review claiming that they give you the money back so you delete your review (and my bank couldn't do much for the transactions that made more than four months ago).

In any case, I contacted them today informing them that they didn't refund me the full amount (14 out of 22 months) and they replied with the email that's shown in the screenshot

I have canceled my subscription in January already and they are stealing my money at this point. I have canceled it twice already. I canceled it on their site as there is no other way to cancel it. I can’t believe that the can get away eith this so easily. I don’t have money because I don’t have job because there are no jobs in South Africa. What they are doing is fraud. I need my money back to buy food! $59 x 2. I am livid that they keep on doing this. I am going to inform my bank about this company as well.

So, I signed up for CVmaker thinking I was getting a sweet deal with a 7-day trial for only $1.95. But boy was I wrong! Turns out, they didn't make it super clear that this would automatically turn into a monthly membership that costs a whopping $24.95. And to make matters worse, they went ahead and charged my credit card $50 without my permission. What a scam! I was so disappointed and frustrated with this website. I mean, who has that kind of money to spend on a resume builder every month? Not me, that's for sure. I ended up canceling my membership and trying out some other free options instead. Don't fall for their sneaky tactics, folks. Stick to the free stuff and save yourself some serious cash.

This website called Cvmaker is not a good one. It seems like a scam because they don't show you the prices upfront. You have to make your CV and enter all your personal information before they tell you that it will cost you 3E to download it. But that's not all! After 7 days, they will take 19E from your account every month. That's a lot of money! The 3E was just a trial, not the actual cost of the CV.

I was really disappointed with this website because I thought it would be a good way to make my CV. But instead, it turned out to be a way for them to take my money without me knowing. I don't recommend this website to anyone who wants to make a CV. There are other websites out there that are better and won't try to trick you into paying more money.

So, I was trying to make a CV and decided to use Cvmaker (cvmaker.com) because it seemed like a good option. I paid 1.95 dollars on 13/2 to buy a CV and everything seemed fine. However, almost a month later, on 11/4, they took 24.95 dollars from my account without me even paying them! I was so angry and frustrated because I didn't authorize this payment and it was a lot of money for me.

I tried to contact their customer service, but they didn't respond to my emails or calls. It was like they didn't care about my problem at all. I felt like they just took my money and ran away.

I want to warn everyone to be careful when using Cvmaker. They might steal your money too! Don't trust them and don't give them your credit card information. I learned my lesson the hard way.

So when recruiters search for someone with my skills, I don't show up in their search because there's a lot of missing information about me.
