In december 2015, i retained the services of a missouri attorney named patrick jerome coyne. Patrick coyne is a partner in a small law firm based in lake st. Louis, missouri. The law firm that patrick coyne is a partner in, is called coyne, cundiff, hilleman, p.C.

Immediately when i contacted patrick coyne and explained that i required his legal representation on my first dui misdemeanor charge. Coyne proceeded to tell me that he would have the case dismissed and removed from my permanent record.

Patrick coyne failed to appear in court to represent me on my first 2 courts dates, never provided an explanation for his absence . On my 3rd court date patrick coyne arrived 30 minutes late and failed to offer an explanation. That day i was sentenced to 12 months state prison and taken out of the courtroom in waist chains and shackles, all of this for a misdemeanor dui. When i asked patrick coyne what happened with the promise he made to me of having the case dismissed and me released from jail, he said that he fought extremely hard for me and exhausted every legal avenue regarding my case. Patrick coyne charged me a $5, 000 retainer fee and literally probably spent a total of 2-4 hours on my case.

Do not hire patrick jerome coyne as legal representation. Patrick lies, cheats, steals, is highly immoral, and practices extremely unethical business deals. He will take all of your money and then violate your god given right to competent & effective legal counsel, which is the 6th amendment. The guy is a complete joke of an attorney and has minimal knowledge of law practice.
