These ambulance chasers specialize in ripping off the Spanish community with false advertising tricking the English illiterate and naive into their way of interpreting our laws with the purpose of unethically keeping your money. Desperate to settle my daughter’s custody issue for a second time in less than 3 months in the same 2005 after firing the last crook attorney J. Michael Kelly, attorneys Mario L. Acosta and William A. Acosta con me of $3.500 unbelievable! I choose Mario L. Acosta because I thought been a Latino and a Judge in a Spanish court program he will be honest and fair but I was completely wrong this Judge is an impostor a fake a poor educated in our law and he teach his son the same dirty tricks except William A. Acosta has a personality complex with a cocky and arrogant attitude.

When I first give William A. Acosta the $3.500 for the retainer I notice he was so surprise and shock he didn’t know what to do he walk out of his office and left the money on his desk like he never had so much money in his hands. This is what they did to me, I requested from day one to meet and retain Mario A. Acosta to represent my custody issues only because of his demeanor in the Spanish TV. And his more years “practicing law”, but from the first day I enter their office their personnel are train to manipulate you and direct you not to Mario A. Acosta but to the recently wet behind the ears mediocre graduated William A. Acosta, I never wanted this incompetent handling my daughters legal matters? But they stick me with this wane be “attorney” and the problems begun.

After my initial meet I never talk to any of the Acosta’s on the phone always with other personnel and paralegals they were never available, they were afraid to talk on the phone it was very strange, they never return my calls, they set court appointments with asking me first, the make me go to court to find out that I did not completed Conciliation court a mandatory in California courts all attorneys knows this except this two incompetents, and they did this intentionally to charge me and charge me for a second court appearance, clever for them but it is a rip-off for me.

On the day of the final hearing I expected Mario L. Acosta to represent me in front of the judge but instead William Acosta show up, he was unprepared in a bad mood arrogant and asking me ridicules questions and upset because I ask for his father Mario Acosta, I quickly ask him to ask the judge for a continuance and we all agree and he accepted but this spoiled little brat had other get back at me plans in less than five minutes while I went to get my mobile phone to the Santa Monica court parking lot William Acosta request to put my case off calendar, then like a coward on the run calls me to tell me what he did and refuse to meet me.

Then I received a call from his personnel requesting another retainer of $3.500 to start all over again. When I ask for my bill I received an over inflated bill including a $12.00 per minute paralegal calls and $12.00 per fax page unbelievable! you tell me is this a rip off or what! The reason for posting this now and not in 2005 is because after using the system of first reporting to “The State Bar of California”, “The Los Angeles County District Attorney”, “The State of California Attorney General”, “The Better Business Bureau”, “Arbitration”, “Dispute Mediation” and “Small Claims Court” these crooks attorney know how to navigate these useless avenues.

now it is my turn to make you aware and expose these low fife immoral individuals. These crooks attorneys are so use to ripping people off and getting away that when you take them to court they actuality feel offended. I will be checking on them for years to come I have the time. In Small Claims court the coward of William A. Acosta did not show up only his father and Mario L. Acosta a Judge lie in front of the Small Claim court Judge that’s correct this dishonest attorney and Judge lie in front of me and the court. SUBMITTED: Tuesday, June 17, 2008 this rebuttal refers to the report filed by the anonymos person whom we represented in a family matter. this gentlemen had 3 prior attorneys that he fired. his requests were so out outlandish that no one could please him. i took poty on this person since he had lost most visitations with his daughter also due to his conduct. he came to our office where i practice with my 2 children. the name of the firm is acosta and acosta attorneys at law. he was interviewed by my son william, at that time an attorney with 9 years experience.

he did not specifically request my personal services which i could not offer due to calendar commitments and trials. in our first court appearance he was so impressed he wrote my staff 3 letters in less than 1 month. so much that i had realized there was something not right in this mans head. we obtained a favorable ruling in his case and we had the court give an order for his daughter to come to the usa from russia. in our second court appearance i was out of the state on a criminal matter and was unable to go with him to court. when he saw my son william in court he became enraged and requested my presence he was told i was unavailable and he told william he did not want anyone else.

since the matter was on the courts calendar and the oppossing attorney as well as his exwife and daughter were there william requested of the judge that the matter be continued due to clients request, the judge declined and instead of dismissing the motion placed off calendar. inmediately after this person engaged in the most disgusting campaing against my son and myself. since we had done the work and filed all the pertinent motions and had made 2 appearances i told i would not give him his money back. he then made a complaint to the state bar which was ruled on my favor,

he ued us in santa monica small claims which also was ruled in my favor. since hes lost all his only resort is to make this cowardly and untruthfull attack on our reputation. i encourage anyone reading this rebuttal to run our name thru the state bar complaint department and you will find that we have never being disciplined by the bar, after more than 25 years of service that is saying a lot. thank you for your attention,

I went back to the Court and the clerk explained what happen and I understood then what off calendar means, these blank attorney just screwed me out of spite and anger.

Yes! I requested my $3500 back I received nothing from them no service no advice nothing! LACOSTA (padre) dicen: "Willian le pidió al Juez que el caso fuera continuado por que su cliente lo requería pero el Juez lo negó y en vez de desechar o despedir el caso el Juez lo puso fuera del calendario" ("william requested of the judge that the matter be continued due to clients request, the judge declined and instead motion placed off calendar") NO FUE VERDAD TOTALMENTE FALSO ESTE ACOMPLEJADO Y NEUROTICO DE WILLIAM A. ACOSTA LE PIDIO AL JUEZ PUSIERA MI CASO FUERA DEL CALENDARIO!

NOTA: el día que esto paso yo salí al estacionamiento de la Corte para sacar mi móvil y en menos de 5 minutos regresando veo a este cobarde de ratón corriendo rápidamente de la Corte por el estacionamiento haciéndose el distraído evitando mirarme pero yo lo vi y le grite porque estaba distante "que paso por que se iba? me contesto "su caso está fuera de calendario yo creí que usted se fue de la corte", note que esta gallina estaba tan nervioso que no podía abrir la puerta de su carro, yo inmediatamente entre a la corte y el Secretario de la corte me informo que WILLIAM ACOSTA pidió al Juez poner mi caso fuera de calendario.

Instantáneamente me di cuenta que este Cubano cobarde me acababa de defraudar solo por su ira y desquitarse de que no lo quería como abogado el si estaba enfurecido como un culicagado malcriado. Si! yo les pedí mis $3500.00 y me resultaron con una cuenta de cargos tan ridículos que obviamente se notaba que son un par de mediocres ladrones.

Enredadores "abogados" WILLIAM A. ACOSTA (hijo) y MARIO L. LACOSTA (padre) dicen: "El nos demando en Santa Monica Small Claims la cual fallaron en nuestro favor" ("he sued us in santa monica small claims which also was ruled in my favor") esta sesión de Corte fue una comedia ridícula el Juez ni siquiera leyó mi queja y además este Juez ya estaba por caducar en la corte, yo demande fue a WILLIAM A. ACOSTA (hijo) y este cobarde no tuvo los cojones de venir a Corte y su papa el que lo ha educado como robar al publico vino a representarlo y en corte este farsante cometió perjurio repetidamente porque él no estaba presente cuando sucedió lo que sucedió en Santa Mónica, igualmente como esta mintiendo en este refute lo hiso en Corte y se salió con la suya, bueno hasta ahora yo les mantendré al tanto cuando lo tenga infraganti.

ACOSTA me sugirió el primer día que lo conocí en la Corte de Santa Mónica me sugirió que sacara un pasaporte falso a nombre de mi hija con otra nacionalidad para poder sacarla del país (mi país USA) yo me quede boquiabierto cuando oí esto y pensé como este llego a ser abogado? y recomendándome esta clase de fraude? pero no me sorprendí tanto porque conociendo esta clase de chusma baja Cubana no me pareció extraño porque son de trafugas enmascarados en nuestra sociedad civilizada y próximo que me dice es que lo pensara que él me puede ayudar en esto, bueno eso quería decir más dinero para él. si señores esta es la clase de abogados piratas que tenemos en nuestra ciudad y nostenemos que cuidar. 2013.

It seems like you made it very hard for any of your attorneys you hired because you didn't get the results you felt were justified in your eyes. Mario Acosta was my attorney in a bitter custody case. I was very satisfied with his services as well as the help i received from William when Mario was unavailable...remember he has other clients and being a family run law firm that's what they're there for. You are just a angry bitter person who feels cheated cuz you couldn't control the attorneys or court system. Funny how you went through a prior attorney who you say cheated you. I retained 5 different attorneys fired incompetents like WILLIAM A. ACOSTA and MARIO L. ACOSTA because of their mediocre third world class ignorance and performing and yes I want them to return my $3.500.00 USD. as soon as possible or since you are sponsoring them and are from this same planet you pay me for them? William, Mario And Marielys Acosta Attorneys At Law William, Mario And Marielys Acosta Attorneys At Law These "attorneys" are Totally negligent and incompetent Van Nuys California. I hired this firm to respond to my ex-wife's request to increase child support. Having hired several attorneys for various reasons over the years, I can say that these are far and above the worse I have seen! They do NOT respond to calls, they basically had me write my own order to show cause then retype it and charge me a lot of money.

They kept canceling my court hearings. They would have their office clerk take my calls and even talk to other attorneys instead of themselves. The final straw was when I had a telephonic hearing scheduled with the district attorney as they were going to levy all my bank accounts. Not only was I NOT behind in payments, I had a $5000 credit and all the cancelled checks to prove it. The county sent me a position statement prior to the hearing stating they had tried several times to contact my attorney to resolve the matter to no avail.

I myself called their firm no less then 10 times in the days leading up to the hearing. I never received a call back. I had to cancel the hearing because I was unsure as how to proceed. After the hearing date William Acosta finally called and said "I didn't call you because your phone does not accept blocked calls" (a simple matter for him to remedy.) Because the hearing was postponed the county levied all my accounts. I immediately fired Acosta and stated I wanted an accounting of my charges and a refund on my retainer.

They refused both. Finally they agreed to send me $1000 out of the more then $4000 I had paid them. They still refused to show me any accounting. In fact William Acosta stated: I owed them more money for all the calls they had made on my behalf. I was told that if I wanted to see the charges I would have to sue them and request them in discovery. I should add that when I hired a new attorney we immediately requested an ex-parte hearing to stop the banks from sending the money as they were holding it for ten days from the levy date.

At the hearing the county agreed to stop the levy and notified the banks. However the banks received the stop ONE day too late as the money had been released. At this time I am fighting for the return of my money from the state. All this could have been avoided if my attorneys had done what I paid them to do. I WILL be filing a complaint with the state bar to recover my retainer and filing suit against these "attorneys" I HIGHLY recommend NOT using this firm.
