Recovery of my tutor account
I have been a tutor in the website Course Hero for more than 2 1/2 years. Recently I was dispelled from the service just because I was in a foreign visit. The authorities of this platform misunderstood that I have given my account for someone else as I opened my account during my foreign visit. My location has changed and this has caused me to receive a mail asking to verify my identity using my Indian mobile number and valid id card. But I failed to do it in the time frame because of the unavailability of my Indian mobile network. When I managed to get the code from Course hero, I have crossed the time limit and exceed 12 hours than time frame. I have mailed them saying my desperate situation and implored to reinstate my account back. But, they adhered to their strict illogical claim. Please take necessary action upon this and help me to recover my account. I have to obtain 50 dollars as a remuneration for my service. I need to get that amount too.

Following the incident, I willingly accepted a 14-day suspension during which I reflected on my actions and diligently reviewed all provided protocols. I have since made a concerted effort to strictly adhere to the guidelines set by Course Hero, drawing from valuable lessons learned from past warnings and suspensions.
My concern arises from the continuous reporting of mistakes even after completing the suspension period. It seems that my commitment to improvement is not being fully recognized. I would appreciate specific details about the reported mistakes to rectify them promptly.
Furthermore, there seems to be a broader issue with the reporting system for mistakes across tutors. It is disheartening to note that, despite sincere efforts to adhere to guidelines, there appears to be a lack of consistency in the evaluation process. This inconsistency may not only affect my experience but also that of other dedicated tutors on the platform.
I am also puzzled by the handling of pending balances. Currently, I have $10 pending in my account, and I seek clarification on the refund process, especially given it falls below the $20 threshold. It's worth noting that I couldn't reach the $20 threshold due to the disabling of my account, leaving me with the impression that my $10 is being treated as a loss without adequate explanation.
I remain committed to contributing positively to the Course Hero community and request transparency and fair evaluation of my efforts and those of my fellow tutors. I believe a more consistent and communicative approach will benefit both tutors and Course Hero as a whole.

Unjust revoking of tutor account
I have been a verified and experienced tutor at Course Hero for more than 2 years. I have answered more than 700 questions with an average of 90% helpful rate. Students love my solutions because I explain them simply and thoroughly and I am always available for any clarification they might need. They love my solutions and explanations so much that they even have offered me to pay much more outside the platform and also to work for them. But being a true believer in Course Hero's Honor code, I have always denied any such offers and always adhered to the code and rules of the platform. But lately this site has been very unfair towards tutors like me. There are many students who give bad remarks even after I provide them correct and accurate solutions. I even offer them to provide any and all clarifications. But they give tutors bad remarks anyway. And this site who should be unbiased, doesn't care for tutors and their pleas. I was put in probation 2 weeks back and I accepted it even when I knew it was unfair but now they have revoked my rights to answer questions. I love solving questions and helping the students, but this site is denying me to do that. This is where I draw the line. The questions for which I was put in probation, were solved correctly and accurately by me. The students had problems with the site mechanism. Most of the questions in concern were rated 'Helpful' because they were correct. But even then my account's access was changed and I am denied from helping students. This site is being very unjust towards tutors and it won't be long before it destroys the reputation of this once great education site. Moreover, even after many attempts at contacting the tutor support, there is no reply from them. This is just SHAMEFUL!

Yesterday, Course Hero stated they were unable to send payments, or the payment was reversed due to an issue with my PayPal account. I contacted PayPal Support, and they confirmed that my PayPal account has no restrictions or limitations in sending and receiving payments; my account is completely verified. Now, as I attempt to withdraw my earnings again, Course Hero is still sending the same message saying that my PayPal account has an issue. But a when I messaged PayPal again, they said that my account has no restrictions and completely verified.

There hearing process
I don't know what's going on in course hero me and my friend try to make an tutor account on course hero after passing all subjects quizzes and upload educational proofs then we click on submit A unknown window get pop-up in which they mentioned " Your application has been received" and my account get stuck there when I opened my email course hero emailed me to complete my application which I already completed and submitted I don't know what is happening form course hero side. I have been working for CH for more than a year now. and then they placed my account on a 14-day probationary period, and I already unlocked it, and now they locked my account again for another violation, they said. I have worked exclusively for this company, and CH is always coming up with problems just to close the accounts of their hardworking tutors. And I am sure I am very careful when answering on the platform since they put my account on 14-day probation. And right now, this is stressing me because, as of now, I am applying for a job, and CH is the only source of my income and has helped my family for a long time. Yearly prepaid subscription/tutor questions
I paid for a years subscription in May 2023 and tried to ask tutor questions at the end of november. They didn’t go through and it said I needed to verify via sms which I tried to do. It said I couldn’t so I should contact them via email which I did. I successfully verified via email because I have all the relevant info they asked for. They wrote back and said they couldn’t overwrite the sms verification and therefore couldn’t get my 6 months of tutor questions (which I have paid for) There was no trying to sort it out from their end. I’ve written several times and now they ignore me. I’m not asking for a refund of the full amount but the 6 months that they have decided not to provide the service I paid for (I also $120 usd for a year and the first 6 months was fine). I wouldn’t need a refund if they sorted out the issue like any normal company. They seem to think it’s ok to take a years worth of money and then deny me 6 months because they messed up the verification process in their system. Clearly this is deliberate to stop people like me from actually using the service we’ve paid for, ie every time we ask tutor questions they have to pay a tutor and we tend to ask questions. We were only trying to use the available questions but clearly they’re trying to optimize their profit at our expense.

Disabled my Course Hero Tutor Account
On Nov. 23, 2023 i received on email from course hero saying i need to do ID verification check saying that course hero identified unusual activity on my tutor account that violates their Terms of Use. To ensure the integrity of their platform for students and other tutors, my account has been temporarily disabled. I follow the steps given in veryfying my identity then at the same date, Jude of course hero support team responded that my account was already re enabled. I was able to use it. Then the next day, Nov. 24, 2023 suddenly i can't access again my account. Then an email from course hero was sent saying i need to do ID verification check again. So i did the process again but this time there were no response from the support team.

Yearly charge
I wanted the monthly subscription and the charge me for a whole year. when I asked to be refunded for the year and just charge the monthly charge, I was told because I use the website they could not do the refund. Of course I use the website I thought I was getting a monthly charge that we could be canceled any time. Account disabled by mr jess for no reason a day before withdrawal of my $295
I, Ashrafun Nisa , contacted on [protected]@coursehero.com again and again that provided link for re-verification is expired so how am I supposed to re-verify but they didn't reply and then I contacted on Complaints Board then Ms Emily from Tutor Support Team replied and gave my new persona link for re-verification and wrote that I used VPN in last attempt. I was complaining for link expiry from Nov 3 to Nov 7 but I didn't understood the reason for such reply by Ms EMILY . I ignored and completed my re-verification within 12 minutes on new link fortunately because that link also didn't work when I clicked on it again just to check as they stated it is valid for 1 day . And I replied to Ms Emily that I have completed re-verification. On Nov 8 , I got a email by Mr Jess that your account is permanently disabled and we can't share additional information. This is final decision and you can't access your account .
Firstly , I felt like it is scam on Nov 3rd only because my pending amount of $295 was going to be available from withdrawal from Nov 4 onwards . This happened but I gave benefit of doubt but then even after complete re-verification of OTP and National ID , Still they disabled it without any reason and now it's been 22 days and I have got now response and clarification that how can I get my $ 295 for solving 148 questions of students from whom Course hero charged for asking questions.
My trust in educational institutions has been shaken after such experience.
I have faith in Complaints Board that they will help me to get my hard earned money back.
I will co-operate fully and will provide all proofs . Till now , I have done 100s of email and even contacted on +[protected] and spoke to Ms Anna who denied helping me .
