I am absolutely furious with the way Corporate America Credit Union handled my recent wire transfer. I tried to send money to a personal friend in Gaza — a completely private individual, not affiliated with any group or organization. The credit union blocked and returned the transfer, giving me only a vague excuse about "internal policies" they "couldn't disclose."
That's unacceptable. Gaza is not under blanket sanctions, and I was able to send the same transfer through another institution with no issue at all. This wasn't about compliance — it was about a lack of transparency, accountability, and basic human decency.
I've never dealt with a financial institution so dismissive of its customers. If this is how they treat honest people trying to help someone in need, then they don't deserve your business. Do not bank here — take your money somewhere that values integrity and transparency.
Recommendation: Do not bank here—take your money to a bank that values integrity and transparency.
