After shopping around for reasonable coverage, I finally started an auto insurance policy with Esurance on Sunday 8/22, and the coverage became effective on that date 8/22. A letter of declaration was issued from Esurance to Corporate America Family Credit Union (***), showing proof of auto insurance coverage. I managed to obtain auto insurance before the *** deadline date. On 8/23, *** added their own auto insurance and informed me that I would have to pay an additional $225.00 a month on top of my monthly car payments for 1 year to cover the cost of insurance they put on the vehicle.
