I had an auto loan with Cornerstone Community FCU
I had an auto loan with Cornerstone Community FCU. I paid it off, but they didn't tell me about an $800 overpayment. I found out and contacted them. They said they'd send me a check for the extra money and close the account. I filled out the form and mailed it back. They said to email if I had questions. I emailed yesterday to ask when I'd get the money. Today, I got an email saying their email doesn't work. When I called to close the account, the person was weird about it and didn't want to give me my money back. I had to remind them it wasn't theirs to keep.

They never sent me an adverse action letter or called me back. I waited a couple of weeks and called again. They told me to call the credit bureau company, but it was their fault for not reporting my other credit card. I had to ask for an adverse action letter, but they didn't explain why my credit card with them wasn't showing on the reports. They were dismissive and shady.
