This is a fraud, 100% scammers, they will take your money by phone and you will never know from them again, at least they want to fool you again

Don't trust this organization, i made transfer, i paid $8, 000, i also sent $1, 500 by western union, i got nothing from this people, i tried sending them email not a response, i was introduced to this recovery agent who assited me to recover back all my money, anybody can use them too, [ admin AT quickeediscovery dotcom ] they will help you refund your money back.

Day after my application a USAFIS Accounts Manager called me and said that he wanted to interview me. I was told that I meet the requirements to potentially win the lottery and obtain the green card. He asked for my credit card number (to check with the card provider if that was really me) and asked for last 3 digits in order to process the withdrawal of $1, 413 claiming that the sum is necessary for their lawyers to process my documentation further. I told them that I do not allow any withdrawal, he then called a lady dealing with finances to persuade me to. She promised to write an email which didn't receive. I blocked my card (now I will have to unblock it and pay for the plastics). I feel lucky and stupid at the same time. My concern is that they still have my application (identity and personal information).

Well the USAFIS employee just yelled at me. He had a very intimidating tone.

Namisaso i had Same talk with Jane Cooper today 9am my time their time 3pm. The point is she asked a lot about me especially info on my cred.card. I gave her all info about me and all the numbers of the cred.card. Jane told me that she will patch me to the bank customer service. By the way the amount for completing my applycation was 1438usd. So i hang on a phone for about 7min then i deciced to call my bank and Made a report about Lost bank card. This is how i managed to save my money. Hope this info will help you all.

I have received the following false statement in my email after a phone conversation by USAFIS’s personnel today: “During our conversation you stated your wish to complete the payment on your own using Credit Card”. I did not say anything like that!

For now, please do not submit any application on behalf of me or my wife to U.S. Lottery program this year or any time in future. Immediately, please make sure my application and credit card credentials and/or any other details are totally removed from your data base and I do not get any more emails or phone calls from you.

They just called me.. and asked me for cc. i was out with my wife having lunch and i said i have cc but not available with me now.. it is at home and i am in the restaurant now.. she said give me your wife credit card.. i said can i know how much i should pay you? she said no you cant. and she started talking to me in very bossy way like she is giving me my salary and when i said even if i have my credit card i will not pay now until i am sure who u are coz i have applied to many other online websites and am not sure who are you... she said we are not playing and you can google us now. and if you dont pay now i will have to remove you from our system and i am not aure if you will be able to apply again.. i googled them and yes they are fraud

I am shova thapa from australia.I received and email on february 13th 2011 saying that I got a permanent residency of America, but it seems fake because they want me to send visa processing charge via western money transfer and the money is too high as well.Is it true or what.
Also I have paid money for 5 years so I donot want to continue my membership and want my money back.As I don't think that I can win lottery by paying this organaisation.

If you receive your call and green card from them after this e-mail that you have received, would you come back here and mention that you had made a mistake and apologize?
You may know that this process takes time. I think they are legitimate. They have not claimed anywhere in their website that they guarantee anything. They offer professional services for you to complete your application so you will have a better chance of entering the lottery.
I have worked with them and have received the same e-mail. I will wait for at least 1-2 months for this contact to be made, then I will assume that I have been cheated or not.
I have been searching all the net to know how legitimate they are, and all the similar complaints that I have seen is in the same manner. I believe the people who are complaining, have a problem of not completely understanding what they have paid for.

Please take some action against them because they all are making fool to innocent and poor peoplzzzzz thank you

I thing it is a good idea to have a lawsuit against them .It apears that they are based in Israel. I leave in New York for 20 years and i did start dealing with them long time ago.There are NO ANY OFFICES anywere in the world including New York for "usafis" .They run law firm and will not be easy but there is pleny of material to go against them and it will bring some money back to the people in the form of a settlement.
I'm sure there will be millions of cases against them.I will def. join this .

They use different websites comp. names..people from different countries and locations so to avoid any laws ..but as consumer in the usa you can get some results.

This company states on their website "The Usafis Organization provides an easy and convenient registration service for the annual Green Card Lottery program. We will **ensure your application is registered in time and **without errors. Each application is checked and you will be contacted if corrections or additional submissions are required in order for your application to be valid. Each year approximately 25% of all entries are disqualified, many for formal reasons".

I paid a lot of money for this service. My application for the green card was entered incorrectly with the wrong birthdate which means I will be disqualified. They state that they will register my application without errors and they didnt and it can not be changed for this years entry.

I also paid extra money for a VIP membership. I was meant to recieve 9 language cd's which I havent. So what have I actually paid $593.00 for? They are meant to provide a service to assist me and they havent. I called to get a refund on my payment made but was denied any refunds. I was questioned why it took me so long to phone in regards to not recieving the discs...that is irrelevant.

I made my payments in October 2009 and when I phoned about not receiving anything that I was promised they changed the invoices on my membership page with the wrong dates on them. They told me I was not entitled to a refund because I was already entered into the lottery (even though I have been disqualified due to their mistake) So I have pretty much paid $593 for absolutely nothing. I am going to fight for my money so if anyone else is in a similar situation please contact me.

I received an email informing me that I won Diversity visa via Green Card Lottery. I just want to know if this is not bogus? I was asked to pay for the visa amounting 832 US dollar thru Western Union, everything will follow once they received the money. I was advised to contact Mr. Peter Comisari who is base in the UK. I do remeber I applied online registration for Green Card Lottery but it was long time already. Hoping for your answer.

I really did not plan to place my complaints here but after the way I have being treated is unbelievable and not normal. After the deductions from our credit card I lodged a complaint and all I receive back from you are "your mail have being deleted without read" I have proof of each and every e-mail send and received. Me and my wife with our three children are serving as missionaries with Mercy Ships on their hospital ship the Africa Mercy. We cannot afford the amounts you have deducted from us. Ogunreku, I don't know how you can sue them in court, but I can tell you that there is a website called USAFIS. HOWEVER, you have to be very careful and go on their website because there are people who pretend to be from the organization. IF they tell you that you are a winner and they ask for money for the Visa, then they are not real. It is a scam. You can sign up for the lottery on the government website, for free, but if you want help you can use USAFIS. PLEASE read the original posts on the first page, the information is all there, I don't want to repeat it over and over.

thanks natto, I will not surrender for the sake of other victims as well. usafis must answer using their conscience rather than an answering machine. to ask for bank offices to withdraw funds back from usafis it is not possible, because the bank's office had to withdraw funds from a person approved by that person, so as not accused of a theft of money as is done usafis to the victim.

I've managed to list greencard lottery, and declared a success. but data have not updated my application, my application has not proven ready. at that time I was sustained by a party Telphone usafis offer VVIP member. I was not so clear with his information and he asked me my credit card is no secret that I think will confirm the data that I fill in the online application form. and I told him (John) that I want to talk or any information through my email, and he promised to say "yes akau will email" but I did not also receive emails, even receive a bill that I have to pay some $ 361 through my credit card . I was very surprised and asked for my money back, and I had time to inquire about the status of my application, it turns out after usafis withdraw money VVIP member, data on my application to be ready.

I asked for my money back, because I do not need to VVIP member, said it would ditelphone usafis party, it turns out they just gave the discount, and I was forced to withdraw money although they had to cut to the administration, and usafis said, withdrawals can only be done through Telphone, was until this moment there is no Telphone who said how do I withdraw my money, even send an email that they've sent an email about my withdrawal.

I am another victim if these people. I put my details into the website but never completed my application. The next morning they called me and mislead me into giving my credit card details. They implied they were the only way to enter the lottery, and never said that by simply visiting the website you therefore agree to all terms and conditions saying they will not refund you. I attempted to contact them within 2 hours of the phonecall and the telephone numbers do not work. I emailed and they have got back to me saying I cannot have a refund due to them beginning my application process, but then offered me more language software and help to gain immigration into australia instead, or to transfer my application to another person (everything except a refund of the money)
I have done some further research on this organization. They charge different amounts to different people, they mislead you on the phone by not stating clearly what their service is (or isn't). In my case they don't tell you to enter the lottery is free, and they charge for a service, they told me I was paying to enter the lottery, not for them to review my application.
I am also taking this to my credit card company, as I feel they are not legitamate. You only need to look at all the complaints against them.

They claim to be a reputable compay and yet all over the world people are complaining of being robbed of their money. I intend to take this matter with the FBI as I have also been victim of USAFIS this morning. I have taken up with the local police my credit card company and the US Conular in my country. VISA and Mastercard also approve of these scammers - Should these "reputable" companies allow the unsuspecting public to be ripped off. Why is there no contact number for KCC to ask someone if the DV lottery account no. given by USAFIS is legitimate or not? concerned from Australia.

I strongly agree, they said that they won't take my money until I agreed and completed the application but they did inspite of the fact I didn't complete it, so the transaction was not authoriseed, which cuts the legs of any argument that its not a scam. now all they will do is give me a discount. When I called to cancel they said there was no one able to deal with it and said they would call back but never.

- Before rushing into such a company, rush first into the core service information desk, which is the (official) USCIS and NO UNAFIS. - If your English is not such a good ally right now (but remember that speaking American English is a must for getting your GC!), you can find some brochures written in other languages in the middle of this (official) page: (http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_1318.html)

- But, why pay for a so-called service for a mere lottery game? Do you really believe in horse-shoes and other yummy ones? Lottery is lottery. Nothing else. Sollicitors who claim they are going to manage and help you to be chosen can, in fact, do nothing heuristic here, or the whole lottery system would be completely cheat.

- As a matter of fact, thinking this way is rather insulting for all the Americans working in the U.S. Consulates, who do they best to help people in need (tough job); and insulting for the country you are trying to work in... A very bad start, indeed!

- I saw also some answers claiming UNAFIS is official and recommended by the U.S. Gov. Really? Just have a look in the (official) USCIS links concerning the green card procedure, to check this assertion, and you will very easily make sure that it is wrong and false: no UNAFIS mentionned, nowhere. As the USCIS, as an official department to the U.S. Government, does NOT recommend any UNAFIS or other in-between company.

- Finally, I saw also that the registrations for the lottery are now closed (http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_1318.html): sorry chaps! Better wait and invest your good money in fruitful and better famed companies.

I also recently paid EUR 547 for a four year subscription to USAFIS thinking that they were the official Green Card lottery organization. They now refuse to give me a refund, and offered me a 20% discount instead.

If I had known that they aren't the official Green Card agency and / or that the official program is free of charge, I would never have paid for their "service".

If they were a legitimate business they would surely give refunds for their product, if their customers feel that they have been scammed!

I completed the application online and then when the dollar amount special was quoted, I decided not to continue, today I recieved a phone call to say that they could help me with the application and that the amount was to be paid, I said NO and the operator passed me onto someone with a total foreign voice who repeated word for word of the process and demanded my credit card details when I said NO she got impatient, I then terminated the call.
Do not entertain these scams and the govt should put a stop to them operating...
Never Ever give out your Banking details, ID number or Credit Card these people are scam artist and will rip you off.
Nothing is free in Life and if the offer sounds too good to be true, then know you are going to pay later.
Never again ...the internet is dangerous for these low lifes...

Sorry Fahmida! The organisation has NO REFUND policy. I had just cancelled my application and claim for a refund, but it's just not going to happen. Instead, they said they would send you a pack (3CDs) to study either English or Spanish! I hope I will receive at least the language packet...Be careful with further payments..

I went through their website, no where they have written that they guarantee a green card, also it is mentioned that this thing can be done for free from the states government travel website. No one can guarantee you a green card.

I made one apllication through USAFIS .org I dd pay even after looking on the web obut this “USAFIS” I discover-realise that I was cheed and I thoght that I could check my apllication on the real webside USA greencard lotery I introduse my password and my username and every time it give me error .I send them mail°s with some questions but until today nothing.I realise that my money are lost .This “agency” charges vulnerable people for a service which is actually provdided free through the federal government; you make claims that your “agency” will somehow improve one’s chances of winning the green card lottery, which is a patently false claim.And now I am one of them beliding in them boolshiet.
