CBE Companies Billing

I keep getting bills and now texts on my phone telling me I owe $131.51. When I called the number on the bill, the woman I spoke to couldn't give me any information as to who I owed the money to or for what item or service. She said to call Advent Hospital and ask them. I called the number she gave me which was the main number. The woman there referred me to someone in billing who said I didn't owe them anything and then she transferred me to a third person who said she also could not find any record that I owe them anything. I was unable to log into their website and get a message "Internal Server Error". It gives me the option to log in using the last 4 digits of my SSN, which I refuse to use. I would think that a collection agency would be ready to give you that information rather than expect people to write a check with no information given to them. For this reason, I believe that this company is run by a bunch of scammers that send out bills at random on the chance that someone that owes someone money will write them a check. This business needs to be stopped!

Desired outcome: Stop sending me bills and texts.

CBE Companies Stay away

This company, has the audacity to call my 89 year old mother, to say that she owes money, and will not even give the name of tyhe company she owes, or what its for? As her son, this is wrong, and someone records are wrong. They call her at a number thats not even hers, and secondly, they are rude, and tell us that she better call them or ELSE! I am contacting the BBB and others to see what can be done. They are unprofessional, . and must say, the individual I spoke with, he wouldn't even give me his name. Said that was not important. I take care of my mother and handle all of her daily life personal things. If they want to be rude, then they can be with me. She will not talk to them, as she could not handle whatever it is they are accusing her of. I have even went so far as to contact our attorney to see what can be done. I was informed that they didn't care what her age was, that they want money...
Who ever this group is, they can call me, not her, cause she is not at the number that they have and never will be again, as she is living with me.

CBE Companies Withdrawing money out of my bank account without permission.

The CBE Group, as a third party collection agency, is not able to process any transaction without your explicit permission. That permission ends with the first Non-Sufficient Funds transaction reversal. If a payment arrangement that you had agreed to caused your account to NSF, they would halt payment activities and resume collection activities, likely resulting in the phone calls that you are receiving. If you answer the phone and speak to them, those repeated efforts to reach you would then cease and you will be able to re-negotiate your arrangement with them. Are the transactions that you are referring to appearing as The CBE Group on your bank statements or in the name of their client, the original creditor?

I've been getting numerous multiple calls from this number [protected], since the end of August of this year. This is extremely annoying, especially when every time I would answer, there would be silence for a couple of seconds, and then they would hang up. It makes this seem like a spam or prank call, either way, I DO NOT APPRECIATE IT, and it needs to stop!
