Unlawful credit card transaction and receiving threatening emails from Talk with Lead
On 10 April 2021, I sign up for a free trial period. I canceled the free trial period by sending two emails dated 13 and 14 April 2021 respectively. This organization acknowledged both these emails on the latter dates. Unfortunately they billed my credit card for R1688 on 24 April 2021. I disputed the transaction and their response on the same date was that I should have canceled via their website. Not once in their email responses dated 13 and 14 April 2021 did they mention that I should cancel via the website. I also checked their website and nowhere does it state that you should cancel via the website. Then to make matters worse they billed me again on 03 May 2021 for a product I never used and threatened to report me to the credit bureau for fraud. How sickening clsimi that I deceived them. I since report them to the police and other legal authorities in South Africa. This is an outright violation of human rights.

By end 0f 13 days, they charged my CREDIT CARD by $112-99, through PAYPAL
I claimed that I never have chance to install, as permission must be obtained from WEB DEVELOPER (ERA NETWORK - A local MNC REALTOR COMPANY, WITH 8000 salespersons
By the time, it was rejected by WEB DEVELOPER, they rob me of $112-99.
Then the long contesting came, when I wanted to close account, but their system rejected as my account cannot be closed as there is rolling recurrent debits of $112-99 every 15 days
They threatened:

Most of the documents were inside exchanging email, SMSes and WhatsAPP messages, which I don't know how to extract, but just copy and paste ONE of their famous threat above

Spam Email - CONSTANTLY!
I have now tried to unsubscribe 20+ times... You read that correctly... TWENTY... I've had phone calls with the manager Andy who said its not his responsibility to remove me from their list, its his admins. I spoke with his admin and personally asked her to remove me from their list 3xs by phon, 1x from andy and a bunch of unsubscribes from their emails (When every they feel like having the legally required unsubscribe button half the time) I've emailed back mulitple times asking them to remove me from their list. This is getting out of hand and becoming more of a harrasement case than just a spam case. I would NEVER... EVER... EVER use this company. Its a joke! And their customer service is brutal. I hope no one gets stuck on their scam spam email list. This is worse than the CRA/IRS fake calls. At least if you yell at them, they stop calling.
Desired outcome: Have them remove me from their list!!!!

Do not tell me how I should handle things when clearly this company is in major violation of CASL and CANSPAM laws.
Reading other reviews, it's very evident this an ongoing issue with others as well. Starting with the unwanted initial spamming of the word press contact forms to the incessant hounding of emails.
If I was unsubscribed, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
Bombarded by their spam
They're spamming my business and ignoring my request to "unsubscribe" from something I never asked for. When I called them to complain, they told me that by contacting them, I'll be getting more calls/emails/texts. So far, they haven't lied. I noticed that you can't go to their website and get taken off their list so you need to call. Doing that (according to their worker) ensured that I'd be getting MORE attention from them. He did tell me to call back and dial a different extension. The woman I spoke with there assured me that my request would be honored. I'm still waiting...
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
Clicking on our ppc ads costing us money to pitch service.

your lack of honest selling tecnics, I took the 13 days free trail, I canceled the trail after 2 day because I found the program to be realy bad for my bussiness, still after you wrote to me asking why I canceled I gave you my reason you still charged my credit card with US 112. on the 23 march 2020. This company will SPAM by finding a way to automate entry into a site's wordpress form. They then "sign you up" for their SPAM and offer a fake "opt-out" link.
They are clearly spammers & scammers and should be immediately shut down for harassing honest business owners.
Additionally, if you go on to their site to get the phone number and then phone, they simply hang up on you. This has been going on for months now and I have been continually harassed by someone there who claims to be "Randy".
Please shut down this dishonest company.
This is a world-class LEGAL scam. I cancelled my account within the proper amount of time, they never cancelled it and said I never did it, which is an absolute lie. Then they proceeded to charge me month after month, while still harrassing me saying that "this month's payment was declined" every month, harrassing phone calls and emails. I had to block their number on my phone, they literally call me every single day... I know this because even though their number is blocked, they can still leave me a voicemail which still shows up in my voicemail... and they do it EVERY SINGLE DAY... even though my card gets charged EVERY SINGLE MONTH. I also had to mark them as spam so I would not get their BARRAGE of emails saying "payment declined, payment declined, payment declined". Yet THERE IS THE CHARGE ON MY STATEMENT... EVERY SINGLE MONTH. I have disputed the transactions with my bank and LOST the disputes, because this [censored] "talkwithlead" had convinced them that I never cancelled my account, WHICH I DID. And NOW to cancel my account, I have to log in and add ANOTHER credit card number in order to cancel it! They really have me by the BALLS here, and there is NOTHING i can do about it! Today I looked at my statement and I have FOUR charges from them! All that happened simultaneously today. One of them was for DOUBLE the amount! So really its technically five charges... so I've now been charged NINE times for a monthly service that I signed up with for FIVE months ago. This is a REAL royal crock of garbage... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SERVICE AND GIVE THEM YOUR CARD NUMBER, WHATEVER YOU DO!
Utterly disgusting business practices. Trying to sign me up to make sure I answer my customersws/leads quickly and they dont even bother to call! They just spam you via your website with an insulting message, dont answer when you try to contact their management o lodge a complaint and then tell you they signed you up as a VIP. Disreputable and untrustworthy in every way.
If you have control of this on your website, block the IP of the spam message or they will just keep spamming you over and over.

We never signed up for any services, ever, that are remote to what the business offers. We kept getting spammed from our own site contact forms for days, until I finally went on their site and asked them to stop. No Reply, they just started sending 3-5 a day now. This company is unethical in its contact practices and I would be careful about doing business with them. They show little respect for people.
After I had an incident with this “company” few years ago, now they decided to send me a 225.99$ bill 🤦🏽

In 2018…they were charging $10 / month, and increased price to $100 / month without my knowledge…I canceled this service immediately..
In 2022 (4 years later) Talk with Leads say I have an outstanding balance of $168…

This company is just bad news, they send you lots of emails and they demand payment even when their system does not work. I don't recommend this company to anyone because you will be a victim, a guy called Ron will harass you with emails and it's so annoying. same deal for me can not get it cancelled, did I thought about 6 months ago, and right after I got off the phone got a text saying welcome to my 15 day trial, I called them back and they said don't worry your cancelled... then my card expired that they had and this month we are back to you can't cancel until payment made, made the payment now have to wait 24 hours for account to unlock, then you have to get a special code sent to you to cancel after you apply, then .. you maybe get to cancel but doubt it.
