As a board certified physician with a good record and good reviews I was stunned to find a horrible, slanderous, defamatory posting on ratemds.com. Further investigation showed that this was not a patient of mine. Ratemds.com has been of no help- refusing to answer phone calls, letters, and emails. Ratemds.com hides behind Incorp Services Inc and MYLLC.COM in Nevada- 2360 Corporate Cir, Ste 400, Henderson, NV 89074; contact: Diane Kalinowski [protected]. The owner of ratemds is J. Wong, [protected]@gmail.com.
This is why the federal government needs to step in and regulate the internet to prevent abuse such as this, abuse the average person has no defense against.

Extortion of a low-income patient that was cruelly harmed by you is a federal crime! Freedom of Speech protects patients!

Dear Sir/ Madam:

I think one of the problems with Banner is that they are so big they think they don't have to respond/address actual complaints.

I can predict the response: "We at Banner always strive to provide the best health options and care... blah blah blah... we take every complaint seriously and respond... blah blah blah..."

Never do they call.

Instead they put you on hold for hours then transfer then on hold then transfer... In this way people give up and Banner can claim they've had a very small number of complaints.

They've become an unfeeling unconcerned machine. When it comes to their money matters they have hundreds of employees (?). When it comes to actual patient concerns/complaints... probably a handful at best.

Plus they are arrogant about it if you ever do succeed in getting through to a human being.

Help!

To whom it may concern, (I know Banner is not concerned.)

I have received no response to my complaint/issues. I had a horrendous experience that has been echoed in many other's complaints/comments.

Please don't allow your loved ones to be admitted to the Banner Health sysem.

Ratemds didn’t post my negative review of a surgeon who completely botched my nose! That site is poisonous. If it weren’t for that site I would have never chose the surgeon. So I go to write this review and they never posted it which enraged me! It makes me wonder how many negative never posted that could have saved my life. My life has gone completely downhill after the surgery and I don’t feel like living life anymore.
They protect the surgeons in my opinion. They’re terrible

I think some of you just don't like what people said. In this country we have the freedom of speech. I wrote an honest review of a bad experience and the doctor is suing me and calling me a liar. I don't agree with the previous comments I am thankful that people can voice their opinions. If someone is lying that is another issue. If someone is calling them a liar because they want to cover up what they did and just throw some money and sue them for a review that is wrong also.

We need more ways to prevent people from removing our reviews and censoring us with frivolous lawsuits that are a result of petty harassment.

I applaud ratemds for allowing people to post reviews without being censored by people who call them out as fake. I can't speak for other reviews but I know mine was honest. Nonetheless the lawsuit works and I just won't want to deal with it and i do want to take my review down and i simply can not get the site to get back to me and no one picks up the phone. We need an easier way to edit and or remove our reviews if we want to.

I have made several attempts to have a negative review of a physician removed from RateMDs.com as a condition of a legal agreement, and I received no response. One way to have a review removed is to flag the review and label it as libelous. I submitted negative reviews about this physician in 2014 and 2016. I was able to flag the review of 2016 and label it as libelous. It was removed by the following day.

However, the review of 2014 had already been flagged by someone else, so that option is no longer available to me. I contacted RateMDs.com on their site using their form, on Facebook using private message, and by email at support@ratemds.com. The email result was an automated response essentially telling me there was nothing they could or would do if the review was flagged and remained on the site.

RateMDs.com needs to make it easier to remove negative reviews from their site. I learned a valuable lesson from this experience. That lesson is: DO NOT POST REVIEWS ABOUT ANYTHING OR ANYBODY ANY TIME ON THE INTERNET. It may come back to bite you.

I did some more investigation. It seems all those numbers the original commenter posted are out of date.

Site is totally bogus in the U.S., not sure about the area for Canada, which appears to be its largest audience. Just today the Florida Neurological Society posted on RateMD's Facebook page their take on the site. Go to reputable sites like Google+ for accurate reviews of ANY doctor. This site is bogus, full of bad reviews and won't work with doctors or patients to remove or annotate negative reviews or permit ANY positive reviews for a doctor if they so choose. Check the FAQ for the site and you can see the owner's contempt for all medical providers and he DARES people to sue him for negative reviews. DO NOT believe ANYTHING you see on this site without further evidence.
