Police Supply Online aka DT Distributors / Warning anyone!

Ordered a Royal Robbins Tactical Vest on June 16th, UPS 2-Day air shipping selected. Price of vest was 59.99, plus 19.99 for the expedited shipping, for a total of 79.98. A week went by without any communication from the company, and no vest. I sent an email to two of the company's addresses and called their phone number, which has a generic answering machine message with no company identification, not a good sign at all. I get no response to either.

June 25th, I get an email telling me my order is shipped, showing the invoice itemized with UPS 2-Day shipping charges, and with a tracking number. UPS tracking shows the package is being sent ground and will arrive on the 29th. Once again, I contact the company by email and phone, and get no response.

June 27th I check my credit card on-line and find I have been charge $82.99 by DT Distributing. This is obviously more than the total cost with 2-Day shipping on my invoice, never mind the fact that my package is actually coming by ground. Once again, I contact the company by email and phone.

I have also called my credit card company to dispute the charge, so I have some protection there, at least.

Although this issue is not yet resolved, my experience so far is more than enough to justify warning anyone off doing business with this company.

    I have had a VERY negative experience with them as well, they are completely unprofessional and incompetent. It is going on 2 months now with me and it still is not resolved. From their inability to answer emails, unavailability to speak with on the phone # they provide to the fact it took them a week to pick up the item I sent back to them from the post office (in which I was made to pay to send it back) to the fact that after a week still no refund. They are total thieves and I will be contacting the DA there in Bonham.

    MANY COMPLAINTS...

    I was ripped off by these folks, too, two ears ago...never saw my purchase or my money again. Read reports at /link removed/ about " Police Supply Online" and "DT Distributors" (seperate searches).

    Same here. Ordered a badge wallet, the wallet had no description so I had to go off the photo. I get it and it is way too large for my particular badge. I ask to return it and they say, "sorry, it comes from the factory." (???? not sure what that means) I ask to exchange it, and they ignore me. Almost $40 wasted.

    I had a similar experience. I had a duty belt that I ordered from them January of 2010. I got a Visa gift card from my mother-in-law, so I decided to try out Police Supply Online. After about a month I E-mailed Kreshia Thompson wondering where it was. They gave me the run-arounds and I E-mailed her several more times. Finally they sent me back an E-mail stating that it had been ordered but not paid for. I sent her a copy of the account information showing that they had deducted that exact amount off of my gift-card and when. Here it is August of 2011 and I have never been refunded the money.

    Ordered two police duty belts (Safariland outer and inner buckleless belts) on Oct 28, 2011 through their internet site. As of today Nov. 29, 2011 I have never recieved my merchandise nor a refund as requested. Had also asked for Next Day delivery. Kreshia keeps e-mailing me excused as to why i haven't gotten my merchandise. Bad company. Found them on Amazon.com. I have reported the company to the Better Business Bureau and will not report them to Amazon.com.

    Clearly a scam and rip off. They never ever responded to countless emails or calls. Avoid this site at all costs. Don't order one single thing from them ever. Also avoid magnumboot.com they are in the same club- RIPOFFS!

    Yeap, I've been ripped off by Police Supply Online as well. Don´t need to repeat what everybody has already reported. Oedered, payed and no merchandise June 7, 2014 Order Number 28622. Same as everybody else. it is a ripoff.

    I was also ripped off. Placed an order for an ASP Baton and some Fox pepper spray. I was charged immediately. A week goes by with no information. I start emailing and calling for a whole week and get no responses. I begin to send emails cancelling my order and still get no response. After nearly 3 weeks I get a response that my order was shipping. I explain I no longer want the order as I have placed it with another company and have already received the product. I am told that's too bad. I refuse shipment- and get charged 25 percent restocking fee. Avoid at all cost.

    Wish I had read the reviews of this company before ordering. Has anyone filed a formal complaint anywhere? I'm looking for some guidance as I plan to pursue this so any info you can share would be appreciated!
