Nfl Games / officiating

1 United States Review updated:

The officiating this year in the nfl is in need of a review. Management has given the referees the okay to call the games, there must be a conspiracy in the nfl with the big money makers who own the teams. The nfl is giving the ref's the go ahead to make calls that are deciding games. Teams are not changelling these calls for fear of losing their time outs because the nfl has targeted some teams, and the nfl is getting paid off for these calls and there un-just system. I have informed several of my friends and family not to watch you cheats.

You people know it, and so do i!!

The outcome of the Houston/Jacksonville week 3 game is a perfect example of why coaches should be able to challenge penalties. When a bad penalty call decides the outcome of the game, it should be reviewable!!!

Jerry Jones must have the refs in his pocket. Don't they see the same replays as the national audience? Poor Andy Reed.

the arizonsa green bay game was the worst case of one-sided officiating i've ever seen. the ruffing the passer call against green bay was a player blocked into the QB by AZ, at the same time there was a clear case of offensive pass interference against Fitzgerald, but the TD ensued. In overtime, not only did the green bay QB double-clutch the pass, the defender grabbed his face mask. there wasn't an incomplete pass ruling or a personal foul called. Clearly the officiating staff missed too many calls in favor of AZ.

I do not agree that during the vikings vs. saints game that that 4th touchdown was a touchdown. He clearly did not cross the plane. I realize that angles during review are important, but also up to the board as far as which ones are selected. The NFL would clearly benefit more from making fair calls and not trying to influence the spread to benefit the few!

In the Titans Steelers game today- the officials are certainly slanted towarded the Steelers as was indicated in the call against the titans ruling a fumble on Collins when his hand had started foward and should have been a incomplete pass and before that the intentional grounding which if it had been any high profile QB would have allowed the throw away. I think the officials are usually good but I also know they lean to make calls in favor of known intities in the league.

I cannot believe the garbage that is allowed as officating. A little while ago, just a little before the end of the first half, in the Tenn. Dallas game the referee called a player in bounds when the replay showed that he stepped on the line beyond any doubt Even an imbicle would have made the correct call. It is obvious that the referee has been paid off. The man should never be allowed to officiate another game even in "little league".; He should be in jail. I cannot believe the NfFLallows shuch obvious corruption to take place. ForGod's sake at least attempt to keep things honest.

Two bad calls in the Texans / KC game. First with false start call when the Texans were clearly in the wrong and then a pass interference call when the guy caught the ball. Are you kidding me? What a bunch of B'S.

How in the world can an NFL ref say there was no definitive proof that Miami recovered that ball in the end zone when three Miami players fell on the ball, AND a Miami player came out with the ball !!??!!?? That had so much BS on it, I could smell it in Jacksonville Florida !!! (refering to the Miami vs Pittsburgh on Oct. 24, 2010 with two and half minutes left in the game)

NFL Referee Commitee should be ashamed of themselves. How do you schedule a referee to to call games of their (close to) hometown origin? Case and point...the communist turd Gene Steratore who called the Steelers/Dolphins game. An obvious major screwup by the ref squad...all my years watching football, that had to be the most horrible call I've ever witnessed in life. That foul up certainly appears the NFL is taking lessons from the NBA referring school of [censor]'s! And Gene, just for the record, take your pathetic, non-integrity, lame excuse of a ref back to PA!!! YOU DON'T BELONG ON A FOOTBALL FIELD YOU DISHONEST [censored]!

The refs that called the game for the eagles colts game were terrible.
I dont Know if they just dont like vick or what but the game was full of bogus calls
4th &18 and that bull [censor] call of unnecessary ruffness?
    What the F?
The guy was clearly going for the swat @ the ball and gets called for roughness because he hit
the illustriuos mister manninig in the helmet
the league needs to do something about this attrocity that is happening to the refs and there power

The NFL is fining players when they make a tackle that results in a "policy violation", I think its time they start fining the officals for "bad calls"!

The answer is not to get rid of Goodell or boycott games. I don't know which of those is less likely to occur. As much as this turns my stomach, the answer is to follow the lead created by our government politicians and file formal complaints. Lobbying for a better resolution has become the only way to get things done in a world of red tape.

The steelers vs. ravens game on december 5 was a little bit unfair with the hit on heath miller. if that was harrison he would have been fined at least a good 50 K but no there was no penalty even thrown for that hit. the referees and all this fineing [censor] about every little thing is ruining football. just let them play the way they used to. why do the players even where helmets now, its not like they are allowed to tackle anyone.

Steelers vs. Ravens game on Dec 5th: Once again, the officials miss another call. Two hits tonight with one of them a definite hit on a defenseless player. Let's recap: The first hit on the Quarterback literally reconfigured Ben's nose. If that was Tom Brady, three flags would have hit the grass, but since it was against Pittsburgh nothing was called. The second missed call tonight is more of my concern as the officials and commissioner have been targeting the Pittsburgh for helmet to helmet hits and fines. The second hit was on Heath Miller who was deemed a defenseless receiver but received a concussion from an unnecessary hit. ONCE AGAIN no call from the officials. If that hit was initiated by the steelers, it would have been 15 yards and a hefty fine. All I can say is WT[censored] Just sick of it.

Enough is enough.what is going on in the NFL. There seems to be blinders on
when it comes down to officals watching the game, or should I say selectivgame calling! The hits Bens has been taking would draw flags on any other team . THERE WAS TWO FUMBLES IDENICAL TO THE NEW ENGLAND GAME AND THEY WERE CALL DOWN BY CONTACT . GET IT RIGHT OR GET OUT. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

the San Diego vs San Fran debacle tonight is another good example of the referees being more important than the players. Could they bend SF over any more and it is only halftime! The NFL is fixed. The ref's can't possibly be that bad on their own. they have to have an agenda to suck that much.

The officiating for the Saints vs Falcons game was terrible. It was clear to me, and you also, that the ref's were doing all they can to assure the Falcons a win in their dome, however, their plan did not work thanks to the strength of the Saints. The worst call of the game, "Roughing the passer against the Saints" was mindless, please... Drew Brees was grabbed on the shoulder in the same manner several plays later and they did not call it, there is one example of corruption. Don't get me wrong, most of their calls were on target, however, ~ 30% were not and favored the Falcons, ------you want proof, how about the stats at the end of the game, Saints penalized 100 yards compared to the 10 yards for the Falcons, COME'ON MAN !!!
