My husband and I wanted to buy an end of school year gift for our two boys. We contacted a company by the name of "MINIPOCKETROCKETS.COM." Two days after ordering we were informed our credit card was denied. Confused because we hadn't used this card in a long time since it was paid off. We asked they run it again. As the children are anxiously waiting for their well earned gift, we get another call that the card is still denied. Well, I said there must be something wrong with the bank and I ordered the bikes with my bank card. The bikes were delivered a few days later as promised and all was well. The next day two more bikes were on a truck to be delivered. I told the truck driver this was shipped yesterday and the company must have made an error, please send them back. Two months later I was going over our bills and noticed two charges for the same company on two different statements. I notified the company of the error, and then notified them again. Finally they responded, telling me I ordered them both times and I am now responsible for a restocking fee of 25%. Now not only do they want me to pay for their mistake but they were never going to let me know I wasn't credited for the two bikes returned to them. Huh, I believe this may be a scam!!!

    +1 Votes is a scam. They are thieves. I am in the middle of a dispute with them at the moment and I only hope my credit card company understands what's really happening. DO NOT BUY FROM MINIPOCKETROCKETS! Just check out Better Business Bureau for further information.

    We are also having a negative experience with this company.
    We bought a bike for my son's birthday, naturally he was v. excited, opened it, put the required fuel in and the thing would not start. The pull start was very stiff so we called tech support at the 1 800 number and they seemed very helpful. They said the pull would be stiff at first and not to worry. I was worried that the pull start handle would come off and sure enough it did. I phoned back, "no problem, we will send a new handle..." meanwhile we tried starting it again and the pull start string came off entirely.
    When I called the company to ask for a refund or new bike they said they could not give a refund because "now that the bike has had fuel in it it cannot be shipped back to us.."
    I have just asked to speak to a manager and been put through to voice mail.

    Just a piece of advice for the company - once the Better Business Bureau complaints become too numerous your company will go under and you will all be out of a job. It pays to be honest.

    Ok i just got my gp mx3 from i didn't even put fuel in it and i noticed that the clutch drum was broke so i called their number like 100 times then they finally answered i told this girl (she was very nice) then she put me on hold from like 30 minutes then this guy answered and he was very rod and mean i told him everything and ask him a question and he answered my question with one of his question and had no clue what he ment so i sayed what and he sayed just answer my qustion (he yelled that)so i did and the sent my a new clutch (it took them 3 weeks to send it to me then i had to wate on shipping)then i got here so i was really happy and so ready to ride my mini bike so i put it on and everything looked right did the mixture of 25:1 becuase it was new after a lot of pulls i finaly got it to start and the engine was making a wired noise so i called got the same girl and told her it was making that noise and if it was O.K. and she sayed it was so im like what ever so i started riding and smelt a very bad smell and saw smoke coming from the engine not the exshust the engine so i when to stop with my front brake and the front disk bent and then the caliper broke in peaices and the cable snaped and it ripped the kill swich out when the cable snaped and now then engine makes a really bad noise when it runs and doest even let me go it dosent even go now (it was new and that was the first time it was riddin so i called back talked to that girl agin she told me to take pictures of it and email it to them so i did and then got a reply telling me to call them back so i did and talked to her then she gave that guy (i was on hold for almost 1 hr) so i talked to him i was being very nice calling him sir and please and saying thank even know i was so pissed i was about to start scream ok so he tells that their is no way that the kill swich could of came undune and that i broke it and he was sort of yelling telling me to listen to him and that the cable would of broken be for the brake broke and i broke and and their is no way no way that would of happend then he wanted to listen to my engine so i turned it on and he's like i just the engine running that im lying and im not telling the truth and telling me to be quit and listen to him and telling me he is looking at the pictures and that i broke it and im was just about to go crazy and start scream at him and cussing at him because a person can only take so much of someone yelling at them telling their wrong and that they dont know anything and to shut up listen to him but i just had to hang up on him i could say anything else because i know that if i go crazy on him he will proble puss out and call the cop well im trying to help DO NOT BUY FROM WWW.MINIPOCKETROCKETS.COM ITS A SCAM and i also bought a 60 day warnty DONT BUY FROM THEM PLEASE IT WILL HELP YOU AND YOU WONT HAVE TO GO THRU ALL THIS STRESS

    same thing just happeed except i ordered the bike the charges appeared on my card already the next day well 2 weeks later still no bike so i told them to screw i dont want the bike they havent shipped it so they can keep it they still havent sent it and they say they are gonna even though i cancelled it like 10 times because they say i still have to pay the shipping and the 25 percent restock fee so i am disputing it with my card company which is great and have reported them to the better business bureau i just dont understand they have over 160 complaints why are they still in business... they are scammers and yet they have not been closed down, ...

    i dont no but i ordered a 47 cc $169 pocket bike so i hope i get it soon and running good i didnt look at these reviews or i wouldnt of got it there so someone please contact my my

    This company is doomed. We received a pocket rocket bike with a flat tire and after fixing that used the bike for a couple days before a clutch blew out. I called Jay and told him we wanted to return it- he advised that your company is only responsible for replacement parts during the warranty period.

    I have been trying since early August to get this part and as of 10/8/08 I still dont have it. If I call to ask where my part is they have NO idea- all they say is it must be on its way- I have been waiting since August and it is mid September- my son wasted $330 of his hard earned summer

    im a 14 year old boy and my birthday was the 13th of october.its now the 17th of November and i still havent recieved my bike.i ordered a raptor from on the 9th of october and they called back the 23rd saying they don't have it so they will send me a GPR-SR. i have been waithing ever since.i called vthem today and they said the finally shipped it and it will be here by wednesday or thursday of this week. ( the 19th or 20th). If u live in california order from them. if u love far like i do in new york dont!!! Have a nice day. :)

    I ordered a bike from these guys. They swapped it for a different bike. It came 3 weeks later than they said it would. Took my bike mechanic friend hours to get it started the first time. Only ran a total of 3 times and is totally dead. I wish I read all the reviews about this place before I ordered.

    son ordered a bike from them, it took 2 months to get it after several calls. the bike we recived is a totaly difrent and lower modle than what was paid for and it is a peice of crap. foot pegs broke on the first ride. would not recomend buing from theese idots. they are rip offs.

    I had this same problem. i Received my bike and it didnt have a float for the carburator. it then took about a month for me to get the little part i needed. it was running good for about to days but then i went to pull the started and it broke. the things from are junk! do not buy from there and i dont recommend it!

    today is 04/02/2009, these people has caused me so much anger it is mind blowing! I have been trying to get (2) parts from them since 12/30/2008. to make a long story short I paid for a X7 in Dec 2008, it arrived with busted flarings (headlight, left and right) these idiots have been giving me the run arounds for 3 months! your parts are stuck in customs, I have a Yellow flaring (my bike is red) you can paint, I told them fools I am not painting anything! I want what I paid! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! They should be Prosecuted!!

    I agree that this company is a piece of work. We ordered this for my son for his excellent school record and when the bike came it was busted. Needless to say the said they would send a tracking confirmation and never did. Lol and behold the bike just shows up. I noticed my cc was hit with the charge so I called the company and said that it was strange that my cc was hit before I got the tracking confirmation. They said that it wasnt shipped. Well what did I have in front of me then? Needless to say the bike didnt work. Called and called and called. Got people go the phone that sounded like they were BOTHERED by us. We did what any person would do and did the RMA form. Months went by and never got the parts. Finally we just went to the local repair shop and they fixed it, but MPR wouldnt step up to the plate and say they messed up. I am in an ongoing dispute with them and ANYONE reading this.. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are frauds and dont know the first thing about customer service and doing the right thing.

    What is wrong with these people? I gave them a call concerning one of their products but instead found company workers that were very rude and would not answer my questions. YOU SHOULD NOT BUY!

    I completely agree with the above comments!! We are currently going through the dispute process with this company as well regarding a pocket rocket & the teen safety gear set that they have advertised, shipping took over 3 weeks even though they claim it is 2 - 3 business days, then the bike turned out to be nothing more than junk & the safety gear set we just received (Dec 02-2009) was missing the pads (all 4) wrong style & color. I found 2 profiles listed on the BBB sites for this company over 200 complaints ... Buyer Beware!! Here's the link in hopes this may save you from going through this process.

    ** Just to also show how much of a pleasure it is to deal with this Company, I thought I would paste a letter they sent me today via email in reference to the beginning stages of dispute filing ...

    Dear Valued Customer,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    We understand that you are considering contacting your Credit Card Company and opening a dispute on the charges. Before you proceed, we would like to be upfront with you on what a dispute entails.

    When you decide to dispute the charges with your card company instead of working with us to resolve your issue, you card company will issue you a "Temporary Credit." This means that the Credit you are receiving from them is conditional, and can be reversed.

    When we receive paperwork that you are doing a dispute, we have our team fight that dispute with data and evidence on why we feel that your case is not valid. Without going into detail, just know that our win rate on disputes is extremely high. And if we do win (which is the vast majority of the time), that "Temp Credit" you received will be reversed and the charge will be taken out again. And by the time the case settles in our favor (usually within 2 months from dispute date), the return window (30 days) and our limited warranty period (60 days) is usually passed, and we can no longer help you, the customer.

    Now, if you are in the minority and actually do win your dispute, you will still be beyond the warranty period, so we will not be able to help you. But it is not over at that point. We work with a very effective Collections Agency which we forward all of your personal information to. They will then research your background and use their methods to help collect funds which we feel are rightfully due to us, if applicable. The methods they use, we have no control over, since we contract those cases out. We can tell you, however, that their methods have shown huge success rates in a very short period of time. For more information on their collections methods and the consequences, you will have to contact them directly when they correspond with you.

    Also, if you file the Dispute with your Credit Card Issuing Bank, they will require you to fill out and sign paperwork, which will be legally binding. If you choose to state that the charge was somehow unauthorized, we will also be perusing Criminal and Legal Actions against the Cardholder. With our data collection from the order, we are very likely able to prove that the order was placed by the Cardholder (via personal information, IP Address, Computer Identity, etc) and this case will be considered Federal Mail Order Fraud, which carries a severe monetary fine along with possible prison time, if convicted.

    +2 Votes is the worst company i have ever dealt with. The story I have is too long to post, but trust me they are the rudest and most unorganized bunch I have ever seen. They have almost ruined christmas by giving false info.
