The site makes all kinds of promises about support, warranty, product quality etc.


The product arrives and works great a for a few days, maybe a week.
You call to get warranty or part information. They put you on the phone with a very nice technician who basically walks you thru dis-assembling the bike. They determine what parts you may need and then offer several part upgrades for a cost. They never seem t have the standard replacement warranty items available. Only the upgrades. They promise to send them along in a few days, After Weeks of phone calls and e-mails, it becomes obvious, they are not sending anything.

So with no other choice, you contact your credit card company to file fraud claim.

They then advise your credit card company they they have no information or inquiries from you about the product and reference about 10 pages of legal mumbo jumbo about how and why, you are responsible for the purchase for about a 1000 different reasons. They have obviously done this many times before. Its not the kind of reply or documentation that somebody just whipped up because of this one instance.

So reply and send your credit card company all the emails and promies that they had made in writing. If your credit card company is worth it weight, at this point they return the money to you . Of course you have to package up the bike and send it back, for about 80$.

Then, when you think the whole ordeal is over with. The Mini Pocket Rocket Company send the detail to a collection agency. You can then contact your cc company and request the documentation from the case and send it on the the credit card company.

Bottom line, DOCUMENT EVERYTHING with this Company
Better yet, STAY AWAY from this company, BUYER BEWARE!!!

    My son ordered an RX1 Traxxis - a pit bike. Within 30 days, the shock and frame broke. I called to address the product defect under their "60 day" warranty. We were advised to send in pictures then call back. I called back and they offered to replace the shock, but we will need to weld the frame. When I suggested this is not sufficient the customer service rep hung up on me. They are done with me, I guess. Buyer beware.

    We purchased a KXR pocket rocket it stopped working after an hour of play two days after we purchased it. The clutch springs fell out and cylinder head was cracked. They refuse to exchange or refund. They said the warranty is void when the bike is started. We have been trying two resolve this for two weeks. They are demanding us to pay for parts and shipping and to repair it ourselves. We have just thrown 400.00 away and my sons birthday was ruined.

    After reading everyone's comments we consider ourselves lucky that we cancelled our order, but the conditions under which it was cancelled were ridiculous. Let me explain...
    We ordered a gas-powered scooter for our son. My husband used his debit card to order it and they sent a message saying the address didn't match the bank's records, so he had to email them the correct address and his three digit card code. Being a computer guy, he knows better than to email such info, so he called them. After a 25 minute hold he got to talk with a rep with whom he confirmed the address was correct. The rep insisted that the zip code and street address did not correspond, so they would not fulfill the order. After a lengthy debate trying to convince them that our address, which we have used for years, and at which we receive packages DAILY using that card was, in fact, correct, the rep cancelled the order.
    Now they had claimed they couldn't run the order without that three digit code, but while my husband was on the phone with the guy he had checked his account and found they HAD already run the order for a few hundred dollars and told the guy to refund it, since they obviously had already gotten it to go through. The guy tells him they will do so in about 30 days! So, they refuse to ship the product AND refuse to issue a refund immediately for something THEY are refusing to fulfill. Incredible.
    Given that our son reeeeeally wants the scooter, my husband asks me to try again using a different card. I do so and get the same email later that day - address doesn't match what my credit card company has on file and they need me to email my three digit code. I call the bank and the credit card company and verify that both of them have the same address we are giving to MPR. I call USPS and verify there has been no zip code change for our area. I call MPR and, after I tell Lisa what we have been through, she yells that since I am frustrated she is canceling my order and she hangs up on me! So now we have two charges on two different cards, no scooter, and a lot of pent up frustration to deal with!
    I agree with the others who have written in - avoid this company!!!

    We received a minipocket rocket and it will not run. I called and waited for ever to talk to a technician and it still will not run. This is a Christmas present and now we are without this product and our money as we can not return it. Do not buy fr0m this company. Their techs are not on call everyday.

    You are right.. I had recently supposed to had bought an mini dirt bike from these same people and whe I call about the order they tell me that it is out of stock.. But, there was nothing on there web page that said that. So, when I called them they told me that and I ask when my money was going to be refunded on my debit card and they said "It should take up til 2 business days and guess what this makes the 12th day and still haven't got my refund yet..These people need to have there business shut down because all they do is take peoples money to keep their business going and get our kids hopes up for nothing. Or at least it got my sons hope up and then nothing came out of it all but them taking the money and not refunding it.But, they will refund his money because he is on disability becasue he has a disability was born with it and that came out of his money because thats what he wanted was a dirt bike. And now we dont have the money or the dirt bike. But, I gave them 48 hours to get back in touch with me or I will have a lawyer working on this.My son will get his money back or this ripp-off place which is MINIPOCKETROCKETS.COM will loose there business. They don't play games with my sons emotions and take his money all at the same time.. They will give a refund or loose there business and I would much rather them to lose there business than I would a refund. And yes this company is a joke there nothing but a bunch of scam..

    I purchased a mini pocket rocket bike you have to use gas in order for it to run and if it doesn't they wont return it because you put gas in it ! you cant mail anything that has had gas in it. A sure way to rip you off by hiding behind us postal service.There answer to that is talking to tech department that will hang up on you if you don't know anything about a motorcycle engine.The web site minipocketrockets lets you read customer reviews on site but doesn't let you leave one on site? Also mini pocket rocket as an f rating from better business bureau I hope this helps other people from getting riped off by mini pocket rocket.

    thay have done this very same thing to me. what a rip off. i sent for aa new part and have been called stupid by thier cusamer sevice. what a joke do not evere order from this company they are a joke.
